Números 10
1 Y él Señor dijo a Moisés:
And YHWH speaks to Moses, saying,
2 Hagan dos trompetas de plata labrada a martillo, que se utilizarán para reunir a la gente y para dar la señal para mover las tiendas.
“Make two trumpets of silver for yourself; you make them of beaten work, and they have been for you for the convocation of the congregation, and for the journeying of the camps;
3 Cuando suenen, todas las personas deben reunirse con usted en la puerta de la Tienda de la reunión.
and they have blown with them, and all the congregation has assembled to you at the opening of the Tent of Meeting.
4 Si solo uno de ellos suena, entonces los jefes, los jefes de los miles de Israel, deben venir a ti.
And if they blow with one, then the princes, heads of the thousands of Israel, have assembled to you;
5 Cuando suena una nota alta, las tiendas ubicadas en el lado este deben avanzar.
and you have blown—a shout, and the camps which are encamping eastward have journeyed.
6 Al sonido de una segunda nota sonora, las tiendas en el lado sur deben avanzar: la nota alta será la señal para avanzar.
And you have blown—a second shout, and the camps which are encamping southward have journeyed; they blow a shout for their journeys.
7 Pero cuando todas las personas se unen, la trompeta debe sonar con un toque simple.
And in the assembling of the assembly you blow, and do not shout;
8 Las trompetas deben ser sonadas por los hijos de Aarón, los sacerdotes; esta es una ley para ustedes para siempre, de generación en generación.
and sons of Aaron, the priests, blow with the trumpets; and they have been for a continuous statute to you throughout your generations.
9 Y si van a la guerra en su tierra contra cualquiera que les haga mal, entonces suena la alarma de trompeta; y el Señor su Dios los tendrá en cuenta y les dará la salvación de los que están contra ustedes.
And when you go into battle in your land against the adversary who is distressing you, then you have shouted with the trumpets, and you have been remembered before your God YHWH, and you have been saved from your enemies.
10 Y en los días de alegría y en tus fiestas regulares y el primer día de cada mes, que suenen las trompetas sobre sus ofrendas quemadas y sus ofrendas de paz; será un recordatorio para ustedes ante Dios: Yo soy el Señor, su Dios.
And in the day of your gladness, and in your appointed times, and in the beginnings of your months, you have also blown with the trumpets over your burnt-offerings, and over the sacrifices of your peace-offerings, and they have been for a memorial to you before your God; I [am] your God YHWH.”
11 Ahora, en el segundo año, a los veinte días del segundo mes, la nube se levantó de la tienda del testigo.
And it comes to pass, in the second year, in the second month, on the twentieth of the month, the cloud has gone up from off the Dwelling Place of the Testimony,
12 Y los hijos de Israel salieron de la tierra baldía del Sinaí; y la nube se posó en la tierra baldía de Paran.
and the sons of Israel journey in their journeys from the wilderness of Sinai, and the cloud dwells in the wilderness of Paran;
13 Avanzaron por primera vez en su viaje como el Señor había dado órdenes por medio de la mano de Moisés.
and they journey at first by the command of YHWH in the hand of Moses.
14 Primero, la bandera de los hijos de Judá avanzó con sus ejércitos: y al frente de su ejército estaba Naason, el hijo de Aminadab.
And the standard of the camp of the sons of Judah journeys in the first [place], by their hosts, and over its host [is] Nahshon son of Amminadab.
15 Y a la cabeza del ejército de los hijos de Isacar estaba Natanael, el hijo de Zuar.
And over the host of the tribe of the sons of Issachar [is] Nathaneel son of Zuar.
16 Y a la cabeza del ejército de los hijos de Zabulón estaba Eliab, hijo de Helón.
And over the host of the tribe of the sons of Zebulun [is] Eliab son of Helon.
17 Entonces la Tienda fue desarmada; y los hijos de Gersón y los hijos de Merari, quienes fueron los encargados de trasladar la Tienda, avanzaron.
And the Dwelling Place has been taken down, and the sons of Gershon and the sons of Merari have journeyed, carrying the Dwelling Place.
18 Entonces la bandera de los hijos de Rubén avanzó con sus ejércitos: y a la cabeza de su ejército estaba Elizur, el hijo de Sedeur.
And the standard of the camp of Reuben has journeyed, by their hosts, and over its host [is] Elizur son of Shedeur.
19 Y a la cabeza del ejército de los hijos de Simeón estaba Selumiel, el hijo de Zurisadai.
And over the host of the tribe of the sons of Simeon [is] Shelumiel son of Zurishaddai.
20 A la cabeza del ejército de los hijos de Gad estaba Eliasaf, el hijo de Deuel.
And over the host of the tribe of the sons of Gad [is] Eliasaph son of Deuel.
21 Entonces los de Coat avanzaron con el lugar santo; Los otros pusieron la Tienda lista para su llegada.
And the Kohathites have journeyed, carrying the Dwelling Place, and the [others] have raised up the Dwelling Place until their coming in.
22 Entonces la bandera de los hijos de Efraín avanzó con sus ejércitos: y a la cabeza de su ejército estaba Elisama, el hijo de Amiud.
And the standard of the camp of the sons of Ephraim has journeyed, by their hosts, and over its host [is] Elishama son of Ammihud.
23 A la cabeza del ejército de los hijos de Manasés estaba Gamaliel, el hijo de Pedasur.
And over the host of the tribe of the sons of Manasseh [is] Gamalial son of Pedahzur.
24 A la cabeza del ejército de los hijos de Benjamín estaba Abidan, el hijo de Gedeoni.
And over the host of the tribe of the sons of Benjamin [is] Abidan son of Gideoni.
25 Y la bandera de los hijos de Dan, cuyas tiendas fueron movidas por última vez, avanzó con sus ejércitos: y a la cabeza de su ejército estaba Ahiezer, el hijo de Amisadai.
And the standard of the camp of the sons of Dan has journeyed (rearward to all the camps), by their hosts, and over its host [is] Ahiezer son of Ammishaddai.
26 A la cabeza del ejército de los hijos de Aser estaba Pagiel, el hijo de Ocrán.
And over the host of the tribe of the sons of Asher [is] Pagiel son of Ocran.
27 Y a la cabeza del ejército de los hijos de Neftalí estaba Ahira, el hijo de Enan.
And over the host of the tribe of the sons of Naphtali [is] Ahira son of Enan.
28 Este fue el orden en que los hijos de Israel viajaban por ejércitos; cuando se ponían en marcha.
These [are] the journeys of the sons of Israel by their hosts when they journey.
29 Entonces Moisés dijo a Hobab, el hijo de su suegro Reuel el madianita: Estamos viajando hacia el lugar que el Señor ha dicho, Yo se los daré; vengan con nosotros, y así será para su beneficio; porque el Señor tiene cosas buenas guardadas para Israel.
And Moses says to Hobab son of Raguel the Midianite, father-in-law of Moses, “We are journeying to the place of which YHWH has said, I give it to you; go with us, and we have done good to you, for YHWH has spoken good concerning Israel.”
30 Pero él dijo: No iré contigo, volveré a la tierra de mi nacimiento y a mis parientes.
And he says to him, “I do not go; but I go to my land and to my family.”
31 Y Moisés dijo: No te vayas de nosotros; porque ustedes conocen los lugares y serán ojos para nosotros, guiándonos a los lugares correctos en las tierras baldías para instalar nuestras tiendas.
And he says, “Please do not forsake us, because you have known our encamping in the wilderness, and you have been to us for eyes;
32 Y si vienes con nosotros, te daremos una parte en todo lo que el Señor haga por nosotros.
and it has come to pass, when you go with us—indeed, it has come to pass—that good which YHWH does kindly with us, we have done it kindly to you.”
33 Así que avanzaron el viaje de tres días desde la montaña del Señor; y el cofre del pacto del Señor fue tres días delante de ellos, en busca de un lugar de descanso para ellos;
And they journey from the mountain of YHWH a journey of three days; and the Ark of the Covenant of YHWH is journeying before them [for] the journey of three days, to spy out a resting place for them;
34 Y de día la nube del Señor pasó sobre ellos, desde que salieron del lugar donde habían puesto sus tiendas.
and the cloud of YHWH [is] on them by day, in their journeying from the camp.
35 Y cuando el cofre del pacto avanzó, Moisés dijo: Levántate, oh Señor, que los ejércitos de los que están contra ti Sean dispersados, y deja que tus enemigos huyan delante de ti.
And it comes to pass in the journeying of the Ark, that Moses says, “Rise, O YHWH, and Your enemies are scattered, and those hating You flee from Your presence.”
36 Y cuando llegó la hora de descansar, dijo: Descansa, Señor, y regresa con los miles y miles de Israel.
And in its resting he says, “Return, O YHWH, [to] the myriads, the thousands of Israel.”
