Nehemías 7
1 Cuando se completó la construcción de la muralla y yo había levantado las puertas, y los encargados de las puertas, los cantores y los levitas habían sido nombrados.
Nowe when the wall was builded, and I had set vp the doores, and the porters, and the singers and the Leuites were appointed,
2 Hice a mi hermano Hanani, y a Hananías, el gobernante de la torre, responsable del gobierno de Jerusalén: porque era un hombre de buena fe, que temía a Dios más que la mayoría.
Then I commanded my brother Hanani and Hananiah the prince of the palace in Ierusalem (for he was doubtlesse a faithfull man, and feared God aboue many)
3 Y les dije: No se abran las puertas de Jerusalén hasta que salga el sol; y mientras los vigilantes estén en sus lugares, que las puertas se cierren y se cierren con llave; y que la gente de Jerusalén sea puesta en guardia, cada uno en su guardia, frente a su casa.
And I saide vnto them, Let not the gates of Ierusalem be opened, vntill the heate of the sunne: and while they stande by, let them shut the doores, and make them fast: and I appointed wardes of the inhabitants of Ierusalem, euery one in his warde, and euery one ouer against his house.
4 Ahora el pueblo era ancho y grande: pero la gente que había en él era poca, porque las casas no habían sido reconstruidas.
Nowe the citie was large and great, but the people were few therein, and the houses were not buylded.
5 Y mi Dios puso en mi corazón juntar a los gobernantes y los jefes y al pueblo para que pudieran ser enumerados por las familias. Y encontré un registro de los nombres de los que surgieron al principio, y en él vi estas palabras:
And my God put into mine heart, and I gathered the princes, and the rulers, and the people, to count their genealogies: and I found a booke of the genealogie of them, which came vp at the first, and found written therein,
6 Estas son las personas de las divisiones del reino, entre los que fueron hechos prisioneros por Nabucodonosor, el rey de Babilonia, y llevados por él, quienes regresaron a Jerusalén y Judá, cada uno a su ciudad;
These are the sonnes of the prouince that came vp from the captiuitie that was caried away (whome Nebuchadnezzar King of Babel had caryed away) and they returned to Ierusalem and to Iudah, euery one vnto his citie.
7 Que vino con Zorobabel, Josué, Nehemías, Azarías, Raamías, Nahamani, Mardoqueo, Bilsan, Misperet, Bigvai, Nehum, Baana. El número de los hombres del pueblo de Israel:
They which came with Zerubbabel, Ieshua, Nehemiah, Azariah, Raamiah, Nahamani, Mordecai, Bilshan, Mispereth, Biguai, Nehum, Baanah. This is the nomber of the men of the people of Israel.
8 Los hijos de Paros, dos mil ciento setenta y dos;
The sonnes of Parosh, two thousande an hundreth seuentie and two.
9 Los hijos de Sefatías, trescientos setenta y dos.
The sonnes of Shephatiah, three hundreth seuentie and two.
10 Los hijos de Ara, seiscientos cincuenta y dos;
The sonnes of Arah, sixe hundreth fiftie and two.
11 Los hijos de Pahat-moab, de los hijos de Josué y Joab, dos mil ochocientos dieciocho;
The sonnes of Pahath Moab of ye sonnes of Ieshua, and Ioab, two thousand, eight hundreth and eighteene.
12 Los hijos de Elam, mil doscientos cincuenta y cuatro;
The sonnes of Elam, a thousand, two hundreth fiftie and foure.
13 Los hijos de Zatu, ochocientos cuarenta y cinco;
The sonnes of Zattu, eight hundreth and fiue and fourtie.
14 Los hijos de Zacai, setecientos sesenta.
The sonnes of Zacchai, seuen hundreth and three score.
15 Los hijos de Binuy, seiscientos cuarenta y ocho;
The sonnes of Binnui, sixe hundreth and eight and fourtie.
16 Los hijos de Bebai, seiscientos veintiocho;
The sonnes of Bebai, sixe hundreth and eight and twentie.
17 Los hijos de Azgad, dos mil trescientos veintidós;
The sonnes of Azgad, two thousand, three hundreth and two and twentie.
18 Los hijos de Adonicam, seiscientos sesenta y siete;
The sonnes of Adonikam, sixe hundreth three score and seuen.
19 Los hijos de Bigvai, dos mil sesenta y siete;
The sonnes of Biguai, two thousand three score and seuen.
20 Los hijos de Adín, seiscientos cincuenta y cinco;
The sonnes of Adin, sixe hundreth, and fiue and fiftie.
21 Los hijos de Ater, de Ezequías, noventa y ocho;
The sonnes of Ater of Hizkiah, ninetie and eight.
22 Los hijos de Hasum, trescientos veintiocho;
The sonnes of Hashum, three hundreth and eight and twentie.
23 Los hijos de Bezai, trescientos veinticuatro;
The sonnes of Bezai, three hundreth and foure and twentie.
24 Los hijos de Harif, ciento doce;
The sonnes of Hariph, an hundreth and twelue.
25 Los hijos de Gabaón, noventa y cinco;
The sonnes of Gibeon, ninetie and fiue.
26 Los varones de Belén y Netofa, ciento ochenta y ocho;
The men of Beth-lehem and Netophah, an hundreth foure score and eight.
27 Los hombres de Anatot, ciento veintiocho;
The men of Anathoth, an hundreth and eight and twentie.
28 Los hombres de Bet-azmavet, cuarenta y dos;
The me of Beth-azmaueth, two and fourty.
29 Los hombres de Quiriat-jearim, Cafira y Beerot, setecientos cuarenta y tres.
The men of Kiriath-iearim, Chephirah and Beeroth, seuen hundreth, and three and fourtie.
30 Los hombres de Ramá y Geba, seiscientos veintiuno;
The men of Ramah and Gaba, sixe hundreth and one and twentie.
31 Los varones de Micmas, ciento veintidós;
The men of Michmas, an hundreth and two and twentie.
32 Los hombres de Betel y Hai, ciento veintitrés;
The men of Beth-el and Ai, an hundreth and three and twentie.
33 Los hombres del otro Nebo, cincuenta y dos.
The men of the other Nebo, two and fifty.
34 Los hijos del otro Elam, mil doscientos cincuenta y cuatro;
The sonnes of the other Elam, a thousand, two hundreth and foure and fiftie.
35 Los hijos de Harim, trescientos veinte;
The sonnes of Harim, three hundreth and twentie.
36 Los hijos de Jericó, trescientos cuarenta y cinco;
The sonnes of Iericho, three hundreth and fiue and fourtie.
37 Los hijos de Lod, Hadid y Ono, setecientos veintiuno.
The sonnes of Lod-hadid and Ono, seuen hundreth and one and twentie.
38 Los hijos de Senaa, tres mil novecientos treinta;
The sonnes of Senaah, three thousand, nine hundreth and thirtie.
39 Los sacerdotes: los hijos de Jedaías, de la familia de Josué, novecientos setenta y tres;
The Priestes: the sonnes of Iedaiah of the house of Ieshua, nine hundreth seuentie and three.
40 Los hijos de Imer, mil cincuenta y dos;
The sonnes of Immer, a thousand and two and fiftie.
41 Los hijos de Pasur, mil doscientos cuarenta y siete;
The sonnes of Pashur, a thousande, two hundreth and seuen and fourtie.
42 Los hijos de Harim, mil diecisiete;
The sonnes of Harim, a thousande and seuenteene.
43 Los levitas: los hijos de Josué, de Cadmiel, de los hijos de Hodavias, setenta y cuatro;
The Leuites: the sonnes of Ieshua of Kadmiel, and of the sonnes of Hodiuah, seuentie and foure.
44 Los cantores: los hijos de Asaf, ciento cuarenta y ocho;
The singers: the children of Asaph, an hundreth, and eight and fourtie.
45 Guardianes de las puertas: los hijos de Salum, los hijos de Ater, los hijos de Talmon, los hijos de Acub, los hijos de Hatita, los hijos de Sobai, ciento treinta y ocho;
The porters: the sonnes of Shallum, the sonnes of Ater, the sonnes of Talmon, the sonnes of Akkub, the sonnes of Hatita, the sonnes of Shobai, an hundreth and eight and thirtie.
46 Los sirvientes del templo: los hijos de Ziha, los hijos de Hasufa, los hijos de Tabaot;
The Nethinims: the sonnes of Ziha, the sonnes of Hashupha, the sonnes of Tabaoth,
47 Los hijos de Queros, los hijos de Siaha, los hijos de Padon,
The sonnes of Keros, the sonnes of Sia, the sonnes of Padon,
48 Los hijos de Lebana, los hijos de Hagaba, los hijos de Salmai,
The sonnes of Lebana, the sonnes of Hagaba, the sonnes of Shalmai,
49 Los hijos de Hanán, los hijos de Gidel, los hijos de Gahar,
The sonnes of Hanan, the sonnes of Giddel, the sonnes of Gahar,
50 Los hijos de Reaia, los hijos de Rezín, los hijos de Necoda,
The sonnes of Reaiah, the sonnes of Rezin, the sonnes of Nekoda,
51 Los hijos de Gazam, los hijos de Uza, los hijos de Paseah,
The sonnes of Gazzam, ye sonnes of Vzza, the sonnes of Paseah,
52 Los hijos de Besai, los hijos de Meunim, los hijos de Nepusim,
The sonnes of Besai, the sonnes of Meunim, the sonnes of Nephishesim,
53 Los hijos de Bacbuc, los hijos de Hacufa, los hijos de Harhur,
The sonnes of Bakbuk, the sonnes of Hakupha, the sonnes of Harhur,
54 Los hijos de Bazlut, los hijos de Mehida, los hijos de Harsa,
The sonnes of Bazlith, the sonnes of Mehida, the sonnes of Harsha,
55 Los hijos de Barcos, los hijos de Sísara, los hijos de Tema,
The sonnes of Barkos, the sonnes of Sissera, the sonnes of Tamah,
56 Los hijos de Nezía, los hijos de Hatifa.
The sonnes of Neziah, the sonnes of Hatipha,
57 Los hijos de los siervos de Salomón eran los hijos de Sotai, los hijos de Soferet, los hijos de Peruda.
The sonnes of Salomons seruantes, the sonnes of Sotai, the sonnes of Sophereth, ye sonnes of Perida,
58 Los hijos de Jaala, los hijos de Darcón, los hijos de Gidel,
The sonnes of Iaala, the sonnes of Darkon, the sonnes of Giddel,
59 Los hijos de Sefatías, los hijos de Hatil, los hijos de Poqueret Haze Baim, los hijos de Amón.
The sonnes of Shephatiah, the sonnes of Hattil, the sonnes of Pochereth of Zebaim, the sonnes of Amon.
60 Todos los sirvientes del templo y los hijos de los siervos de Salomón eran trescientos noventa y dos.
All the Nethinims, and the sonnes of Salomons seruantes were three hundreth, ninetie and two.
61 Todas estas fueron las personas que llegaron de Tel-mela, Tel-harsa, Querub, Adón e Imer; pero debido a que no tenían conocimiento de las familias o descendientes de sus padres, no era seguro si eran israelitas fueron los siguientes:
And these came vp from Tel-melah, Tel-haresha, Cherub, Addon, and Immer: but they could not shewe their fathers house, nor their seede, or if they were of Israel.
62 Los hijos de Delaía, los hijos de Tobías, los hijos de Necoda, seiscientos cuarenta y dos.
The sonnes of Delaiah: the sonnes of Tobiah, the sonnes of Nekoda, six hundreth and two and fourtie.
63 Y de los sacerdotes: los hijos de Habaia, los hijos de Cos, los hijos de Barzilai, que estaba casado con una de las hijas de Barzilai de Galaad, y tomaron su nombre.
And of the Priestes: the sonnes of Habaiah, the sonnes of Hakkoz, the sonnes of Barzillai, which tooke one of the daughters of Barzillai the Gileadite to wife, and was named after their name.
64 Hicieron una búsqueda de su registro entre las listas de familias, pero sus nombres no se vieron por ninguna parte, por lo que se les consideró impuros y ya no eran sacerdotes.
These sought their writing of the genealogies, but it was not founde: therefore they were put from the Priesthood.
65 Y él gobernador les ordenó que no debían tener las cosas más sagradas para su alimento, hasta que un sacerdote viniera a dar una decisión por el Urim y Tumim.
And the Tirshatha sayd vnto them, that they should not eate of the most holy, till there rose vp a Priest with Vrim and Thummim.
66 El número de todas las personas juntas era de cuarenta y dos mil trescientos sesenta.
All the Congregation together was two and fourtie thousand, three hundreth and threescore,
67 Así como sus sirvientes y sus siervas, de los cuales había siete mil trescientos treinta y siete; y tenían doscientos cuarenta y cinco hombres y mujeres cantores.
Besides their seruantes and their maydes, which were seuen thousand, three hundreth and seuen and thirtie: and they had two hundreth and fiue and fourtie singing men and singing women.
68 Tenían setecientos treinta y seis caballos, doscientos cuarenta y cinco bestias de transporte;
Their horses were seuen hundreth and sixe and thirtie, and their mules two hundreth and fiue and fourtie.
69 Cuatrocientos treinta y cinco camellos, seis mil setecientos veinte asnos.
The camels foure hundreth and fiue and thirtie, and sixe thousande, seuen hundreth and twentie asses.
70 Y algunos de los jefes de familia dieron dinero para el trabajo. El gobernador entregó en la tienda mil dracmas de oro, cincuenta tazones, quinientos treinta túnicas de sacerdotes.
And certaine of the chiefe fathers gaue vnto the worke. The Tirshatha gaue to the treasure, a thousand drammes of golde, fiftie basins, fiue hundreth and thirtie Priests garments.
71 Y algunos de los jefes de familia entregaron a la tesorería para el trabajo veinte mil dracmas de oro, y dos mil doscientas libras de plata.
And some of the chiefe fathers gaue vnto the treasure of the worke, twentie thousand drams of golde, and two thousande and two hundreth pieces of siluer.
72 Y lo que el resto del pueblo dio fueron veinte mil dracmas de oro, y dos mil libras de plata, y sesenta y siete túnicas de sacerdotes.
And the rest of the people gaue twentie thousand drammes of golde, and two thousande pieces of siluer, and three score and seuen Priestes garments.
73 Así que los sacerdotes y los levitas y los encargados de las puertas y los creadores de música y algunas personas y los sirvientes del templo, y todo Israel, vivían en sus pueblos.
And the Priestes, and Leuites, and the porters and the singers and the rest of the people and the Nethinims, and all Israel dwelt in their cities: and when the seuenth moneth came, the children of Israel were in their cities.
