Nehemías 3
1 Entonces Eliasib, el principal sacerdote, se levantó con sus hermanos, los sacerdotes, y tomó en sus manos la reconstrucción de la puerta de Las Ovejas; la consagraron y pusieron sus puertas en posición; hasta la torre del norte de Jerusalén la consagraron, incluso la torre de Hananeel.
Then arose Eliashib the high priest and his brethren the priests, and built the sheep-gate, they, hallowed it, and set up the doors thereof, —even unto the tower of Hammeah, hallowed they it, unto the tower of Hananel;
2 Y a su lado estaban construyendo los hombres de Jericó. Y después de ellos, Zacur, hijo de Imri.
and, at his hand, built, the men of Jericho, —and at his [other] hand built Zaccur, son of Imri.
3 Los hijos de Senaa fueron los constructores de la puerta de Los Peces; Pusieron sus vigas y levantaron sus puertas, con sus cerrojos y barras.
And, the fish-gate, did the sons of Hassenaah build, —they, laid the beams thereof, and set up the doors thereof, the locks thereof, and the bars thereof;
4 A su lado, Meremot, el hijo de Urías, el hijo de Cos, estaba arreglando los muros. Entonces Mesulam, el hijo de Berequías, el hijo de Mesezabeel; y el siguiente, Sadoc, el hijo de Baana.
and, at their hand, repaired, Meremoth son of Uriah son of Hakkoz, and, at their hand, repaired, Meshullum son of Berechiah son of Meshezabel, —and, at their hand, repaired, Zadok son of Baana;
5 Cerca de ellos, los tecoítas estaban trabajando; pero sus jefes no pusieron sus cuellos a la obra de su Señor.
and, at their hand, repaired, the Tekoites, —but, their chiefs, put not their neck into the service of their lords.
6 Joiada, el hijo de Paseah, y Mesulam, el hijo de Besodeias, enmendaron la vieja puerta; Pusieron sus tablas y levantaron sus puertas, con sus cerrojos y barras.
And, the old gate, did Joiada son of Paseah, and Meshullam, son of Besodeiah, repair, —they, laid the beams thereof, and set up the doors thereof, and the locks thereof, and the bars thereof;
7 A su lado estaban trabajando Melatias el Gabaonita y Jadon de Meronot, los hombres de Gabaón y Mizpa bajo la autoridad del gobernante al otro lado del río.
and, at their hand, repaired, Melatiah the Gibeonite and Jadon the Meronothite, men of Gibeon and of Mizpah, —who pertained to the throne of the pasha Beyond the River;
8 Cerca de ellos trabajaba Uziel, el hijo de Harhaia, él platero. Y junto a él estaba Hananías, uno de los productores de perfumes, que estaba construyendo Jerusalén hasta la pared ancha.
at his hand, repaired, Uzziel son of Harhaiah, goldsmiths, and, at his hand, repaired Hananiah son of the perfumers, —and they fortified Jerusalem, as far as the broad wall;
9 Cerca de ellos trabajaba Refaias, el hijo de Hur, el gobernante de la mitad de Jerusalén.
and, at their hand, repaired, Rephaiah son of Hur, ruler of a half-circuit of Jerusalem;
10 A su lado estaba Jedaías, el hijo de Harumaf, frente a su casa. Y junto a él estaba Hatus, el hijo de Hasabnias.
and, at their hand, repaired, Jedaiah son of Harumaph, even over against his own house, —and, at his hand, repaired, Hattush, son of Hashabneiah;
11 Malquias, el hijo de Harim, y Hasub, el hijo de Pahat-moab, estaban trabajando en otra parte, y la torre de los hornos.
a second length, did Malchijah son of Harim and Hasshub son of Pahath-moab, repair, —also the tower of the ovens;
12 Cerca de ellos estaba Salum, el hijo de Halohes, el gobernante de media Jerusalén, con sus hijas.
and, at his hand, repaired, Shallum son of Hallohesh, ruler of a half-circuit of Jerusalem, —he and his daughters.
13 Hanun y la gente de Zanoa estaban trabajando en la entrada del valle; lo levantaron y levantaron sus puertas, con sus cerrojos y varas, y mil codos de pared hasta la entrada donde se colocaba el material de desecho.
The valley-gate, did Hanun and the inhabitants of Zanoah, repair, —they, built it, and set up the doors thereof, the locks thereof, and the bars thereof, —also a thousand cubits in the wall, as far as the dung-gate.
14 Y Malquias, hijo de Recab, gobernador de la división de Bet-haquerem, arregló la entrada de los desechos, la construyó y levantó sus puertas, con sus cerraduras y barras.
And, the dung-gate, did Malchijah son of Rechab, ruler of the circuit of Beth-haccherem, repair, —he, built it, and set up the doors thereof, he locks thereof, and the bars thereof.
15 Y Salum, el hijo de Col-hoze, el gobernante de la división de Mizpa, reparó la entrada de la fuente, la construyó y la cubrió, y puso sus puertas, con sus cerraduras y varillas, también reparó la pared del estanque de Siloé junto al jardín del rey, hasta los escalones que bajan del pueblo de David.
And, the fountain-gate, did Shallun son of Col-hozeh ruler of the circuit of Mizpah, repair, he, built it, and covered it, and set up the doors thereof, the locks thereof, and the bars thereof, —also the wall of the pool of Shelah, by the garden of the king, even as far as the stairs that go down from the city of David;
16 A su lado estaba trabajando Nehemías, el hijo de Azbuk, gobernante de la mitad de la división de Beth-zur, hasta el lugar opuesto a los últimos lugares de descanso de la familia de David, y el estanque que se hizo y la casa y hasta el cuartel de los hombres de guerra.
after him, repaired, Nehemiah son of Azbuk, ruler of the half-circuit of Beth-zur, —as far as over against the sepulchres of David, even unto the pool which had been made, and unto the house of heroes;
17 Luego vinieron los levitas, Rehum, el hijo de Bani. A su lado trabajaba Hasabias, gobernante de la mitad de la división de Keila, para su división.
after him, repaired, the Levites, Rehum son of Bani, —at his hand, repaired, Hashabiah, ruler of the half-circuit of Keilah, for his circuit;
18 Después de él trabajaban sus hermanos, Bavai, el hijo de Henadad, gobernante de la mitad de la división de Keilah.
after him, repaired, their brethren, Bavvai son of Henadad, —ruler of the [other] half-circuit of Keilah;
19 Y a su lado estaba trabajando Ezer, el hijo de Josué, el gobernante de Mizpa, haciendo otra parte opuesta en el camino hacia el depósito de armas al girar la pared.
and there repaired at his hand, Ezer son of Jeshua, ruler of Mizpah, a second length, —over against the ascent of the armoury, at the corner;
20 Después de él, Baruc, el hijo de Zabai, estaba trabajando arduamente en otra parte, desde el giro del muro hasta la puerta de la casa de Eliasib, el principal sacerdote.
after him, zealously repaired Baruch son of Zabbai, a second length, —from the corner, unto the opening of the house of Eliashib, the high priest;
21 Después de él, Meremot, el hijo de Urías, el hijo de Coz, estaba trabajando en otra parte, desde la puerta de la casa de Eliasib hasta el final de su casa.
after him, repaired, Meremoth son of Uriah son of Hakkoz, a second length, —from the opening of the house of Eliashib, even unto the end of the house of Eliashib;
22 Después de él trabajaban los sacerdotes, los hombres del valle del Jordán.
and, after him, repaired, the priests, the men of the Circuit;
23 Después de ellos llegaron Benjamín y Hasub, repararon frente a su casa. Después de ellos, Azarías, hijo de Maasías, hijo de Ananías, restauró el muro junto a la casa donde él mismo vivía.
after him, repaired, Benjamin and Hasshub, over against their own house, —after him, repaired, Azariah son of Maaseiah son of Ananiah, beside his own house;
24 Después de él, Binuy, el hijo de Henadad, estaba trabajando en otra parte, desde la casa de Azarías hasta el ángulo de la esquina.
after him, repaired, Binnui son of Henadad, a second length, —from the house of Azariah, unto the corner, even unto the pinnacle:
25 Palal, el hijo de Uzai, arregló la pared opuesta al ángulo y la torre que sale de la parte más alta de la casa del rey, por el patio abierto de la guardia. Después de él fue Pedaias, el hijo de Faros.
Palal, son of Uzai, from over against the corner, and the tower that projecteth from the upper house of the king, which belongeth to the court of custody, —after him, Pedaiah son of Parosh.
26 Ahora los sirvientes del templo vivían en Ofel, hasta el lugar que daba a la entrada de agua hacia el este, y la torre que sobresale.
Now, the Nethinim, were dwelling in Ophel, —as far as over against the water-gate, on the east, and the tower that projecteth;
27 Después de él, los tecoítas estaban haciendo otra parte, frente a la gran torre que sale, y hasta la pared de Ofel.
after him, repaired, the Tekoites, a second length, —from over against the great tower that projecteth, even unto the wall of Ophel:
28 Más adelante, más allá de la entrada de los Caballos, los sacerdotes estaban trabajando, cada uno frente a su casa.
from beside the horse-gate, repaired the priests, every one over against his own house;
29 Después de ellos, Sadoc, el hijo de Imer, estaba trabajando frente a su casa. Y después de él, reparó, Semaías, hijo de Secanías, el guardián de la puerta oriental.
after him, repaired, Zadok son of Immer, over against his own house, —and, after him, repaired, Shemaiah son of Shecaniah, keeper of the east-gate;
30 Después de él, Hananías, el hijo de Selemías, y Hanún, el sexto hijo de Salaf, estaban haciendo otra parte. Después de él, Mesulam, el hijo de Berequías, arregló la pared frente a su habitación.
after him, repaired, Hananiah son of Shelemiah, and Hanun sixth son of Zalaph, a second length, —after him, repaired, Meshullam son of Berechiah, over against his chamber;
31 Después de él, Malquias, él platero, reparó el siguiente tramo de la muralla hasta la casa de los servidores del templo, y la de los los comerciantes, arregló el muro frente a la puerta de inspección y hasta el puesto de vigilancia de la esquina.
after him, repaired, Malchijah son of Zorphi, as far as the house of the Nethinim, and the traders, —over against the muster-gate, even unto the ascent of the pinnacle;
32 Y desde él puesto de vigilancia hasta la esquina y la puerta de las Ovejas, los plateros y los comerciantes repararon el muro.
and, between the ascent of the pinnacle and the sheep-gate, repaired, the goldsmiths, and the traders.
