Nehemías 11

1 Y los gobernantes del pueblo vivían en Jerusalén, el resto del pueblo seleccionó, por decisión fortuita, uno de cada diez para vivir en Jerusalén, el pueblo santo; Los otros nueve para ir a los otros pueblos.

And the rulers of the people dwelt in Jerusalem, —and, the rest of the people, cast lots, to bring in one out of ten to dwell in Jerusalem, the holy city, and nine parts in [other] cities.

2 Y el pueblo dio una bendición a todos los hombres que se ofrecían libremente a ocupar sus lugares en Jerusalén.

And the people bestowed a blessing on all the men, who willingly offered themselves to dwell in Jerusalem.

3 Estos son los jefes de las provincias del país que vivían en Jerusalén; pero en las ciudades de Judá todos vivían de su herencia en las ciudades, es decir, Israel, los sacerdotes, los levitas, los Servidores del templo y los hijos de los siervos de Salomón.

Now, these, are the chiefs of the province, who dwelt in Jerusalem, but, in the cities of Judah, dwelt every man in his possession throughout their cities, Israel, the priests, and the Levites and the Nethinim, and the Sons of the Servants of Solomon.

4 Y en Jerusalén vivían algunos de los hijos de Judá y de Benjamín. De los hijos de Judá: Ataias, hijo de Uzías, hijo de Zacarías, hijo de Amarías, hijo de Sefatías, hijo de Mahalaleel, de los hijos de Fares;

And, in Jerusalem, dwelt certain of the sons of Judah and of the sons of Benjamin, —Of the sons of Judah, Athaiah son of Uzziah, son of Zechariah, son of Amariah, son of Shephatiah, son of Mahalalel, of the sons of Perez;

5 Y Maasías, hijo de Baruc, hijo de Col-hoze, hijo de Hazaías, hijo de Adaías, hijo de Joiarib, hijo de Zacarías, hijo de Siloni.

and Maaseiah son of Baruch, son of Col-hozeh, son of Hazaiah, son of Adaiah, son of Joiarib, son of Zechariah, son of the Shilonite.

6 Todos los hijos de Fares que vivían en Jerusalén eran cuatrocientos sesenta y ocho hombres valientes.

All the sons of Perez who were dwelling in Jerusalem, four hundred and sixty-eight, men of ability.

7 Y estos son los hijos de Benjamín: Salú, el hijo de Mesulam, el hijo de Joed, el hijo de Pedaias, el hijo de Colaias, el hijo de Maasias, el hijo de Itiel, el hijo de Jesaias.

And, these, are the sons of Benjamin, —Sallu son of Meshullam, son of Joed, son of Pedaiah, son of Kolaiah, son of Maaseiah, son of Ithiel, son of Jeshaiah;

8 Y después de él, Gabai, Salai, novecientos veintiocho.

and, after him, Gabbai, Sallai, —nine hundred and twenty-eight.

9 Y Joel, el hijo de Zicri, fue su supervisor; y Judá, el hijo de Senua, fue segundo sobre la ciudad.

And, Joel son of Zichri, was in charge over them, —and, Judah son of Hassenuah, was over the city, as second.

10 De los sacerdotes: Jedaías, hijo de Joiarib, Jaquin,

Of the priests, Jedaiah son of Joiarib, Jachin;

11 Seraías, hijo de Hilcías, hijo de Mesulam, hijo de Sadoc, hijo de Meraiot, hijo de Ahitob, jefe del templo de Dios.

Seraiah son of Hilkiah, son of Meshullam, son of Zadok, son of Meraioth, son of Ahitub, chief ruler of the house of God;

12 Y sus hermanos que hicieron el trabajo de la casa, ochocientos veintidós; Y Adaías, hijo de Jeroham, hijo de Pelalias, hijo de Amsi, hijo de Zacarías, hijo de Pasur, hijo de Malquias.

and their brethren who were doing the work of the house, eight hundred and twenty-two, —and Adaiah son of Jeroham, son of Pelaliah, son of Amzi, son of Zechariah, son of Pashhur, son of Malchijah;

13 Y sus hermanos, jefes de familias, doscientos cuarenta y dos; Amasai, hijo de Azareel, hijo de Azai, hijo de Mesilemot, hijo de Imer,

and his brethren, ancestral chiefs, two hundred and forty-two, —and Amashsai son of Azarel, son of Ahzai, son of Meshillemoth, son of Immer;

14 Y sus hermanos varones de guerra, ciento veintiocho; y su supervisor fue Zabdiel, el hijo de Gedolim.

and their brethren, strong men of ability, a hundred and twenty-eight, —and, he who was in charge of them, was Zabdiel, son of Haggedolim.

15 Y de los levitas: Semaías, hijo de Hasub, hijo de Azricam, hijo de Hasabías, hijo de Buni.

And, of the Levites, Shemaiah son of Hasshub, son of Azrikam, son of Hashabiah, son of Bunni;

16 Y Sabetai y Jozabad, de los jefes de los levitas, que eran responsables de la obra exterior del templo de Dios;

and Shabbethai and Jozabad, over the outside business of the house of God, of the chiefs of the Levites;

17 Y Matanias, el hijo de Micaia, el hijo de Zabdi, el hijo de Asaf, quien tuvo que dar la primera nota del canto de alabanza y acción de gracias, y Bacbuquias, él segundo entre sus hermanos, y Abda, hijo de Samua, hijo de Galal, hijo de Jedutún.

and Mattaniah son of Mica, son of Zabdi, son of Asaph, leader of the praise who giveth thanks, in prayer, and Bakbukiah the second among his brethren, —and Obadiah son of Shemaiah, son of Galal, son of Jeduthun.

18 Todos los levitas en el pueblo santo eran doscientos ochenta y cuatro.

All the Levites in the holy city, were two hundred and eighty-four.

19 Además, los encargados de las puertas, Acub, Talmon y sus hermanos que vigilaban las puertas, eran ciento setenta y dos.

And, the door-keepers—Akkub, Talmon, and their brethren who were keeping watch in the gates, were a hundred and seventy-two.

20 Y el resto de Israel, de los sacerdotes, los levitas, estaban en todos los pueblos de Judá, cada uno en su heredad.

But, the residue of Israel, the priests, the Levites, were in all the cities of Judah, every one in his inheritance.

21 Pero los sirvientes del templo habitaban en Ofel; y Ziha y Gispa estaban sobre los sirvientes del templo.

Howbeit, the Nethinim, were dwelling in Ophel, —and, Ziha and Gishpa, were over the Nethinim.

22 Y el supervisor de los levitas en Jerusalén era Uzi, el hijo de Bani, el hijo de Hasabias, el hijo de Matanias, el hijo de Micaia, de los hijos de Asaf, los creadores de música, que estaban sobre la obra del templo de Dios.

And, the overseer of the Levites in Jerusalem, was Uzzi son of Bani, son of Hashabiah, son of Mattaniah, son of Mica, —of the sons of Asaph the singers, to take lead in the business of the house of God.

23 Porque había una orden del rey sobre ellos y una cantidad regular para los creadores de música, para sus necesidades día a día.

For, the commandment of the king, was upon them, —as to a fixed provision for the singers, the need of a day upon its day.

24 Y Petaias, el hijo de Mesezabeel, de los hijos de Zera, el hijo de Judá, fue el siervo del rey en todo lo relacionado con el pueblo.

And, Pethahiah son of Meshezabel, of the sons of Zerah, son of Judah, was at the hand of the king, in every matter pertaining to the people.

25 Y para las aldeas con sus campos, algunos de los hombres de Judá vivían en Quiriat-arba y sus aldeas, en Dibón y sus aldeas, y en Jecabseel y sus aldeas.

And, as for the villages in their fields, some of the sons of Judah, dwelt in Kiriath-arba, and the hamlets thereof, and in Dibon, and the hamlets thereof, and in Jekabzeel, and the villages thereof;

26 Y en Josué, en Molada, Bet-pelet,

and in Jeshua, and in Moladah, and in Beth-pelet;

27 Y en Hazar-sual, y en Beer-seba y sus aldeas,

and in Hazar-shual, and in Beer-sheba, and the hamlets thereof;

28 Y en Siclag, en Mecona y sus aldeas,

and in Ziklag, and in Meconah, and in the hamlets thereof,

29 Y en En-rimon, en Zora, y en Jarmut,

and in En-rimmmon, and in Zorah, and in Jarmuth;

30 Zanoa, Adulam y sus aldeas, Laquis y sus campos, Azeca y sus aldeas. Así que vivían desde Beer-seba hasta el valle de Hinom.

Zanoah, Adullam and their villages, Lachish, and the fields thereof, Azekah, and the hamlets thereof, —so they encamped from Beer-sheba, unto the valley of Hinnom.

31 Y los hijos de Benjamín vivían de Geba, en Micmas, en Aia, y en Bet-el y sus aldeas.

And, the sons of Benjamin, [dwelt] from Geba, to Michmas and Aija, and Bethel, and the hamlets thereof:

32 En Anatot, Nob, Ananias,

Anathoth, Nob, Ananiah;

33 Hazor, Ramá, Gitaim,

Hazor, Ramah, Gittaim;

34 Hadid, Seboim, Nebalat,

Hadid, Zeboim, Neballat;

35 Lod y Ono, el valle de los artífices.

Lod and Ono, the valley of craftsmen.

36 Y de los levitas, ciertas divisiones en los repartimientos de Judá y de Benjamín.

Howbeit, of the Levites, certain courses of Judah, pertained unto Benjamin.
