Miqueas 3
1 Y yo dije: Escuchen, ahora, jefes de Jacob y gobernantes del pueblo de Israel: ¿No es para ustedes tener conocimiento de la justicia, de lo que es correcto?
I said, “Now listen, you leaders of Jacob and rulers of the house of Israel: Is it not right for you to understand justice?
2 Ustedes que odian el bien y los amantes del mal, quitándoles la piel y la carne de los huesos;
You who hate good and love evil, you who tear off their skin, their flesh from their bones—
3 Ustedes que comen la carne de mi pueblo como alimento, los desollan y les rompen los huesos, si, los cortan como si fueran carne para la olla, como la carne dentro del caldero.
you who also eat the flesh of my people, and tear their skin off, break their bones, and chop them in pieces, just like meat for a pot, just like meat in a cauldron.
4 Entonces clamarán al Señor por ayuda, pero él no les dará una respuesta; sí, mantendrá su rostro escondido de ellos en ese momento, porque sus actos han sido malos.
Then you rulers will cry out to Yahweh, but he will not answer you. He will hide his face from you at that time, because you have done evil deeds.”
5 Esto es lo que el Señor ha dicho acerca de los profetas por quienes mi pueblo ha sido desviado del camino correcto; quienes mordiendo con sus dientes dicen: Paz; y si alguien no les pone nada en la boca, se preparan para la guerra contra él.
Yahweh says this, “As for the prophets who lead my people astray, if one gives them something to eat, they proclaim, 'Peace.' But if he puts nothing in their mouths, they dedicate themselves to wage war on him.
6 Por esta causa será de noche para ti, sin visión; y será oscuro para ti, sin conocimiento del futuro; El sol se pondrá sobre los profetas, y el día se oscurecerá sobre ellos.
Therefore, it will be night for you with no vision for you; it will be dark so that you will do no divination. The sun will go down on the prophets, and the day will be dark on them.
7 Y los videntes serán avergonzados, y confundidos los adivinos, todos ellos cubriendo sus labios; porque no hay respuesta de Dios.
The seers will be put to shame, and the diviners will be confused. All of them will cover their lips, for there is no answer from me.”
8 Pero realmente yo estoy lleno del espíritu del Señor, con poder de juzgar y con la fuerza para dejar en claro a Jacob su rebelión y a Israel su pecado.
But as for me, I am full of power by the Spirit of Yahweh, and am full of justice and might, to declare to Jacob his transgression, and to Israel his sin.
9 Entonces presta atención a esto, jefes de los hijos de Jacob, gobernantes de los hijos de Israel, odiando lo correcto, torciendo lo recto.
Now listen to this, you leaders of the house of Jacob, and rulers of the house of Israel, you who detest justice, and pervert everything right.
10 Están edificando Sión con sangre, y Jerusalén con maldad.
You build Zion with blood and Jerusalem with iniquity.
11 Sus jefes juzgan por soborno, y los sacerdotes cobran por la enseñanza, y los profetas cobran plata para leer el futuro; pero aún así, apoyándose en el Señor, dicen: ¿No está el Señor entre nosotros? Ningún mal nos alcanzará.
Your leaders judge for a bribe, your priests teach for a price, and your prophets do divination for money. Yet you rely on Yahweh and say, “Is not Yahweh with us? No evil will come on us.”
12 Por esta razón, Sión será arada como un campo por tu culpa, y Jerusalén se convertirá en una masa de muros rotos, y la montaña de la casa como un lugar alto en el bosque.
Therefore, because of you, Zion will become a plowed field, Jerusalem will become a heap of rubble, and the hill of the temple will become a thicket.
