San Mateo 4
1 Luego Jesús fue enviado por el Espíritu al desierto para ser probado por el diablo.
Then Yeshua [Salvation] was led up by haRuach [the Spirit, Breath] into the wilderness to be tempted by the devil [Accuser].
2 Y después de estar sin alimento durante cuarenta días y cuarenta noches, tuvo hambre.
When he had fasted forty days and forty nights, he was hungry afterward.
3 Y vino el Maligno y le dijo: Si eres Hijo de Dios, di la palabra para que estas piedras se conviertan en pan.
The tempter came and said to him, “If you are the Ben-Elohim ·Son of Elohim God·, command that these stones become bread.”
4 Pero él respondió y dijo: Está en las Escrituras: el pan no es la única necesidad del hombre, sino toda palabra que sale de la boca de Dios.
But he answered, “It is written, ‘Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds out of the mouth of Adonai.’”
5 Entonces el diablo lo llevó a la ciudad santa; y lo puso en el punto más alto del Templo y le dijo:
Then the devil [Accuser] took him into the holy city. He set him on the pinnacle of the temple,
6 Si eres el Hijo de Dios, tírate abajo. porque está en las Escrituras, A sus ángeles mandará acerca de ti; y, en sus manos te sostendrán arriba, para que tu pie no sea aplastado contra una piedra.
and said to him, “If you are the Ben-Elohim ·Son of Elohim God·, throw yourself down, for it is written, ‘He will enjoin his angels unto you.’ And, ‘On their hands they will bear you up, so that you don’t dash your foot against a stone.’”
7 Jesús le dijo: Otra vez está en las Escrituras: No pongas a prueba al Señor tu Dios.
Yeshua [Salvation] said to him, “Again, it is written, ‘You shall not test MarYah [Master Yahweh], your God.’”
8 Otra vez, el diablo lo llevó a una montaña muy alta, y le permitió ver todos los reinos del mundo y la gloria de ellos;
Again, the devil [Accuser] took him to an exceedingly high mountain, and showed him all the kingdoms of the world, and their glory.
9 Y él le dijo: Todo esto te lo daré, si te inclinas y me adoras.
He said to him, “I will give you all of these things, if you will fall down and worship me.”
10 Entonces Jesús le dijo: ¡Vete, Satanás! Porque escrito está en las Escrituras, adora al Señor tu Dios, y a él solo servirás.
Then Yeshua [Salvation] said to him, “Get behind me, Satan [Adversary]! For it is written, ‘You shall worship MarYah [Master Yahweh] your God, and you shall serve him only.’”
11 Entonces el diablo se alejó de él, y los ángeles vinieron y le servían.
Then the devil [Accuser] left him, and behold, angels came and served him.
12 Cuando llegó a sus oídos que Juan había sido encarcelado, se fue a Galilea;
Now when Yeshua [Salvation] heard that John [Yah is gracious] was delivered up, he withdrew into Galilee [District, Circuit].
13 Y saliendo de Nazaret, vino y habitó en Capernaúm, que está junto al mar, en la tierra de Zabulón y Neftalí.
Leaving Nazareth [Branch, Separated one], he came and lived in Capernaum [Village-Comfort, Village-Compassion], which is by the sea, in the region of Zebulun [Living together] and Naphtali [My wrestling],
14 Para que la palabra del profeta Isaías se hiciese realidad,
that it might be fulfilled which was spoken through Isaiah [Salvation of Yah] the prophet, saying,
15 La tierra de Zabulón y la tierra de Neftalí, por el camino del mar, al otro lado del Jordán, Galilea de los Gentiles,
“The land of Zebulun [Living together] and the land of Naphtali [My wrestling], toward the sea, beyond the Jordan [Descender], Galil-of-the-Goyim [District, Circuit of Non-Jews],
16 La gente que estaba en la oscuridad vio una gran luz, y a los que estaban en la tierra de la sombra de la muerte Luz les resplandeció.
the people who lived in darkness saw a great light, to those who live in the land of the shadow of death, to them light has dawned.”
17 Desde entonces, Jesús anduvo predicando y diciendo: Deja que tu corazón se aparte del pecado, porque el reino de los cielos está cerca.
From that time, Yeshua [Salvation] began to preach, and to say, “Teshuvah ·Turn repent·! For the Kingdom of Heaven (God) is at hand.”
18 Y cuando andaba junto al mar de Galilea, vio a dos hermanos, Simón, cuyo otro nombre era Pedro, y Andrés, su hermano, que estaban poniendo una red en el mar; porque ellos eran pescadores.
Walking by the sea of Galilee [District, Circuit], he saw two brothers: Simeon [Hearing], who is called Peter [Rock], and Andrew [Manly], his brother, casting a net into the sea; for they were fishermen.
19 Y les dijo: Vengan en pos de mí, y los haré pescadores de hombres.
He said to them, “Come after me, and I will make you fishers for men.”
20 Y enseguida soltaron las redes y fueron tras él.
They immediately left their nets and followed him.
21 Y pasando de allí, vio a otros dos hermanos, Jacobo, hijo de Zebedeo, y Juan, su hermano, en el barco con su padre, que cosían sus redes; y él dijo: Ven.
Going on from there, he saw two other brothers, James son of Zebedee [Surplanter son of Yah Has Bestowed], and John [Yah is gracious] his brother, in the boat with Zebedee [Bestowed by Yah] their father, mending their nets. He called them.
22 Y partieron del barco y de su padre, y vinieron en pos de él.
They immediately left the boat and their father, and followed him.
23 Y andando Jesús por toda Galilea, enseñando en las sinagogas de ellos, anunciando las buenas nuevas del reino, y sanando a los enfermos de cualquier enfermedad en el pueblo.
Yeshua [Salvation] went about in all Galilee [District, Circuit], teaching in their synagogues, preaching the Good News of the Kingdom, and healing every disease and every sickness among the people.
24 Y noticias de él salieron por toda Siria; y le llevaron a todos los que estaban enfermos con diferentes enfermedades y dolores, los que tenían espíritus malignos y los que estaban fuera de sí, y los paralíticos. Y los sanó.
The report about him went out into all Syria [Elevated]. They brought to him all who were sick, afflicted with various diseases and torments, possessed with demons, epileptics, and paralytics; and he healed them.
25 Y le siguieron un gran número de gente desde Galilea, Decápolis, Jerusalén y Judea, y desde el otro lado del Jordán.
Great multitudes from Galilee [District, Circuit], Decapolis, Jerusalem [City of peace], Judea [Praise] and from beyond the Jordan [Descender] followed him.
