San Mateo 13
1 En aquel día, Jesús salió de la casa y se sentó a la orilla del mar.
On that day Jesus having come out from the house, was sitting by the sea:
2 Y se le unió un gran número de personas, de modo que subió a un bote; y la gente se sentó junto al mar.
and many multitudes were gathered unto Him, so that having gone into a ship, He sat; and the whole multitude stood on the shore.
3 Y les dio enseñanza en forma de historia, diciendo: Él sembrador salió a poner semilla en la tierra;
And He spoke many things to them in parables, saying, Behold a sower went out to sow.
4 Y mientras lo hacía, algunas semillas cayeron junto al camino, y los pájaros vinieron y los tomaron como alimento:
And while he was sowing, some seeds fell by the wayside, and the fowls came and ate them up.
5 Y parte de la semilla cayó entre las piedras, donde no tenía mucha tierra, y de inmediato surgió porque la tierra no era profunda;
And others fell among stones, where they had not much earth: and sprang up immediately, because they had no depth of earth:
6 y cuando el sol estaba alto, fue quemada; y debido a que no tenía raíz, se secó y murió.
and the sun having risen, they were scorched; and because they had no root, they withered away.
7 Y algunas semillas cayeron entre espinas, y las espinas crecieron y la ahogaron,
But others fell among thorns; and the thorns sprang up and choked them.
8 Y otras, cayendo sobre la tierra buena, dieron fruto, algunas ciento, algunas sesenta, y otras treinta veces más.
But others fell in good ground, and gave fruit, some a hundred, some sixty, and some thirty.
9 El que tiene oídos, que oiga.
Let him that hath ears to hear, hear.
10 Y vinieron los discípulos y le dijeron: ¿Por qué les dices cosas en forma de historias?
And His disciples coming, said to Him; Wherefore do you speak to them in parables?
11 Y les respondió: A ustedes se les ha dado a conocer los secretos del reino de los cielos, pero a ellos no se les ha dado.
He responding said to them, Because it has been given unto you to know the mysteries of the kingdom of the heavens, but to them it has not been given.
12 Porque a cualquiera que tiene, se le dará, y tendrá más; pero el que no tiene, incluso lo que tiene le será quitado.
But whosoever has, it shall be given to him, and he shall have more abundantly: but whosoever has not, it shall be taken from him even what he has.
13 Por esta razón, puse cosas en forma de historias; porque viendo no ven, y oyendo no oyen ni entienden.
Therefore I speak to them in parables; because seeing they see not, and hearing they hear not, neither do they understand.
14 Y para ellos, las palabras de Isaías se han cumplido, aunque oigas, no entenderás; y viendo, verán y no percibirán.
And the prophecy of Isaiah is fulfilled unto them, saying, By hearing ye shall hear, and may not understand; and seeing you shall see, and may not perceive.
15 Porque el corazón de este pueblo se ha engrosado, y sus oídos oyen despacio, y tienen los ojos cerrados; por temor a que vean con sus ojos y escuchen con sus oídos y se vuelvan sabios en sus corazones y vuelvan a mí, para que yo los sane.
Because the heart of this people is waxed gross, and they heard heavily with their ears, and closed their eyes; lest they may see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and understand with their hearts, and turn, and I shall heal them.
16 Pero bendecidos sus ojos que ven, y oídos, que oyen.
But happy are your eyes, because they see; and your ears, because they hear.
17 Porque en verdad es digo que los profetas y los hombres rectos deseaban ver lo que ven, y no lo vieron; y oír lo que oyen sus oídos, y no lo oyeron.
Truly I say unto you, that many prophets and righteous men desired to see those things which you see, and saw them not; and to hear those things which you hear, and heard them not.
18 Escuchen, pues, la historia del sembrador que puso la semilla en la tierra.
Therefore hear ye the parable of the sower.
19 Cuando la palabra del reino llega a cualquiera, y no la entiende, entonces viene el Maligno, y rápidamente quita lo que fue puesto en su corazón. Éste es la semilla que cayó en el camino.
Every one hearing the word of the kingdom, and not understanding it, the wicked one comes, and seizes away that which is sown in his heart: he is the one sown by the wayside.
20 Y lo que fue sobre las piedras, este es el que, al oír la palabra, de inmediato la toma con alegría;
But the one sown upon the rocks, is he who heareth the word, and immediately with joy receives it;
21 Pero no teniendo raíz en sí mismo, continúa por un tiempo; y cuando viene la persecución o el dolor, debido a la palabra, luego tropieza, rápidamente y se llena de dudas.
but it has no root in him, but is temporary; and tribulation or persecution arising on account of the word, immediately he is offended.
22 Y lo que cayó entre espinos, éste es el que oye la palabra; y los cuidados y afanes de esta vida, y los engaños de la riqueza, detienen el crecimiento de la palabra y no da fruto. (aiōn g165)
But the one sown among the thorns, is he who heareth the word; and the care of this age, and the deceitfulness of riches, choke out the word, and he becomes unfruitful. (aiōn g165)
23 Y la semilla que fue puesta en buena tierra, éste es el que escucha la palabra, y entienden; y quien da fruto, unos cien, unos sesenta, unos treinta veces más.
And the one having been sown on good ground, is he that heareth the word, and understandeth it; who truly bears fruit, and produces, some a hundred, some sixty, and some thirty.
24 Y él les contó otra historia, diciendo: El reino de los cielos es semejante al hombre que puso buena semilla en su campo;
He put forth another parable to them, saying, The kingdom of the heavens is like unto a man sowing good seed in his field.
25 Pero mientras los hombres dormían, vino uno que tenía odio por él y puso malas semillas entre el grano, y se fue.
And while the men slept, an enemy came, and sowed tares in the midst of the wheat, and departed.
26 Pero cuando el tallo verde subía y daba fruto, las malas plantas se veían al mismo tiempo.
And when the blades sprang up, and produced fruit, then the tares were also made manifest.
27 Y vinieron los siervos del señor de la casa, y le dijeron: Señor, ¿no has puesto buena semilla en tu campo? ¿cómo es que tiene malas plantas?
And the servants of the landlord having come to him said, Sir, did you not sow good seed in your field? whence then hath it tares?
28 Y él dijo: Alguien ha hecho esto con odio. Y los sirvientes le dicen: ¿Quiere usted que arranquemos la mala hierba?
And he said to them, A hostile man did this. And the servants say to him, Then do you wish that we, having gone, may gather them?
29 Pero él dice: No, no sea que, por casualidad, mientras arrancan la hierba mala, puedan arrancar el trigo con ellas.
And he says, No; lest gathering the tares together you may at the same time along with them root up the wheat.
30 Que crezcan juntos hasta la siega del grano; y luego diré a los obreros: “recogan primero la hierba mala, y ponganla en manojos para quemar; pero recojan el trigo en mi granero”.
Let both grow together till the harvest: and at the time of the harvest, I will say to the reapers, First gather the tares, and bind them in bundles, in order to burn them: and gather the wheat into my barn.
31 Y les contó otra historia, diciendo: El reino de los cielos es semejante al grano de mostaza que un hombre tomó y puso en su campo;
And He submitted another parable to them, saying; The kingdom of the heavens is like unto a grain of mustard seed, which, a man having taken, sowed in his field;
32 El cual es más pequeño que todas las semillas; pero cuando ha crecido, es más grande de las hortalizas, y se convierte en un árbol, de modo que las aves del cielo vienen y hacen sus lugares de descanso en sus ramas.
which indeed is the smallest of all seeds; and when it grows up, is the greatest of herbs, and becomes a tree, so that the birds of heaven indeed lodge in its branches.
33 Otra historia les dio: El reino de los cielos es semejante a la levadura que tomó una mujer, y puso en tres medidas de harina, hasta que todo fue fermentado.
And he spake another parable unto them; The kingdom of the heavens is like unto the leaven, which a woman took, and hid in three measures of meal, until the whole was leavened.
34 Todas estas cosas que Jesús dijo a la gente en forma de historias; y sin una historia no les dijo nada:
Jesus spoke all of these things to the multitudes in parables; and without a parable He was not speaking to them:
35 Para que se haga realidad lo que dijo el profeta, Hablare por medio de parábolas; Daré conocimiento de cosas guardadas en secreto desde la fundación del mundo.
in order that the word spoken by Isaiah, the prophet, saying, I will open my mouth in parables: I will make known the things which have been hidden from the foundation.
36 Entonces él se fue del pueblo y entró en la casa; y sus discípulos se acercaron a él y le dijeron: “Haznos saber la historia de la cizaña en el campo”.
Then leaving the multitudes, He came into the house: and His disciples came to Him saying; Explain to us the parable of the tares of the field.
37 Y él respondió y dijo: El que pone la buena semilla en la tierra es el Hijo del hombre;
And He responding said, The one sowing the good seed is the Son of man;
38 Y el campo es el mundo; y la buena semilla son los hijos del reino; y las semillas malas son los hijos del Maligno;
and the field is the world; and the good seed, these are the sons of the kingdom; and the tares are the sons of the wicked one,
39 Y el que los puso en la tierra es Satanás; y la siega del grano es el fin del mundo; y los segadores son los ángeles. (aiōn g165)
and the enemy sowing them is the devil: and the harvest is the end of the age; and the reapers are the angels. (aiōn g165)
40 Así como la planta mala se juntan y se queman con fuego, así será en el fin del mundo. (aiōn g165)
Then as the tares are gathered and burnt up with fire; so it will be in the end of the age. (aiōn g165)
41 El Hijo del Hombre enviará a sus ángeles, y sacarán de su reino todos los que son causa de tropiezo, y a todos los que hacen mal,
The Son of man will send forth His angels, and they will gather out of his kingdom all things that offend, and those who do iniquity,
42 Y los pondrán en el fuego; habrá llanto y gritos de dolor y crujir de dientes.
and will cast them into the furnace of the fire: and there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.
43 Entonces los rectos brillarán como el sol en el reino de su Padre. El que tiene oídos, que oiga.
Then the righteous will shine as the sun in the kingdom of their Father. But let the one having ears, hear.
44 El reino de los cielos es como un tesoro escondido en un campo, que un hombre encontró y volvió a esconder; y en su alegría va y vende todo lo que tiene, para obtener ese campo.
The kingdom of the heavens is like unto a treasure having been hidden in a field; which a man having found, concealed; and from his joy he goes and sells all things so many as he has, and buys that field.
45 Una vez más, el reino de los cielos es como un comerciante en busca de hermosas perlas.
Again, the kingdom of the heavens is like unto a man seeking beautiful pearls:
46 Y habiéndose encontrado con una perla de gran precio, fue y vendió todo lo que tenía a cambio de ella.
and having found one pearl of great price, having gone away he sold all things, so many as he had, and bought it.
47 Otra vez, el reino de los cielos es como una red, que fue puesta en el mar y tomó todo tipo de peces;
Again, the kingdom of the heavens is like unto a net cast into the sea, and gathering of every kind;
48 Cuando estaba llena, la ponen sobre la arena; y sentados allí, ponen lo bueno en cestas, pero lo malo echan fuera.
which, when it was filled, drawing up on the shore, and sitting down, they gathered the good into baskets, and threw the bad away.
49 Así será en el fin del mundo: los ángeles vendrán y sacarán lo malo de entre los justos, (aiōn g165)
So it will be in the end of the age: the angels will go forth, and will separate the wicked from the midst of the righteous, (aiōn g165)
50 Y los pondrán en el fuego; allí habrá llanto y crujir de dientes.
and will cast them into the furnace of the fire: and there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.
51 Jesús les dijo ¿Están todas estas cosas ahora claras para ustedes? Ellos le dicen, sí.
Do you understand all these things? They say to Him, Yea.
52 Y él les dijo: Por esta razón, todo escriba que se ha hecho discípulo del reino de los cielos es como el dueño de una casa, que saca de su tesoro cosas nuevas y cosas viejas.
And He said to them, Therefore every scribe having been discipled into the kingdom of the heavens is like unto a man who is a landlord, who bringeth out of his treasure things both new and old.
53 Y cuando Jesús llegó al final de estas historias, se fue de allí.
And it came to pass, when Jesus finished these parables, He departed thence.
54 Y entrando en su tierra, les dio enseñanza en su sinagoga, y se sorprendieron grandemente, y dijeron: ¿De dónde sacó este hombre esta sabiduría y estos milagros?
And having come into His own country He was teaching them in their synagogue, so that they were astonished, and said, Whence this wisdom and these miracles unto Him?
55 ¿No es este el hijo del carpintero? ¿No es su madre llamada María? y sus hermanos Santiago y José y Simón y Judas?
Is not He the son of the carpenter? is not His mother called Mary? are not His brothers, James, and Joses, and Simon, and Judas?
56 Y sus hermanas, ¿no están todas con nosotros? ¿De dónde, entonces, tiene todas estas cosas?
And are not His sisters all here with us? Whence then are these things to Him?
57 Y ellos no creyeron en él. Pero Jesús les dijo: Un profeta no está en ninguna parte sin honor, sino en su país y entre su familia.
And they were offended in Him. And Jesus said to them; A prophet is not without honor, except in his own country, and in his own house.
58 Y los milagros que hizo allí eran pocos en número porque no tenían fe.
And He did not many mighty works there on account of their unbelief.
