Marcos 11
1 Y cuando llegaron cerca de Jerusalén, a Betfag y Betania, en el monte de los Olivos, envió a dos de sus discípulos,
And when they came nigh to Jerusalem, unto Bethphage and Bethany, at the mount of Olives, he sendeth forth two of his disciples,
2 Y les dijo: vayan al pequeño pueblo de enfrente; y cuando entren, verán un asno con una cuerda alrededor de su cuello, en la que ningún hombre lo ha montado; desatenlo y vuelvan con él.
And saith unto them, Go your way into the village over against you: and as soon as ye be entered into it, ye shall find a colt tied, whereon never man sat; loose him, and bring [him].
3 Y si alguien les dice: ¿Por qué estás haciendo esto? diles que, el Señor lo necesita y lo devolverá de inmediato.
And if any man say unto you, Why do ye this? say ye that the Lord hath need of him; and straightway he will send him hither.
4 Y se fueron y vieron a un asno junto a la puerta en la calle abierta; y lo desataron.
And they went their way, and found the colt tied by the door without in a place where two ways met; and they loose him.
5 Y algunos de los que estaban allí les dijeron: ¿Qué están haciendo, tomando el asno?
And certain of them that stood there said unto them, What do ye, loosing the colt?
6 Y ellos les dijeron las palabras que Jesús había dicho; y los dejaron ir.
And they said unto them even as Jesus had commanded: and they let them go.
7 Y trajeron el asno a Jesús, y le pusieron sobre las espaldas del burro los mantos y Jesús se montó en el asno.
And they brought the colt to Jesus, and cast their garments on him; and he sat upon him.
8 Y mucha gente se quitó el manto y lo tendieron en el camino; y otros pusieron ramas que habían tomado de los campos.
And many spread their garments in the way: and others cut down branches off the trees, and strawed [them] in the way.
9 Y los que iban delante y los que venían, clamaban: Gloria: Bendición sobre el que viene en el nombre del Señor.
And they that went before, and they that followed, cried, saying, Hosanna; Blessed [is] he that cometh in the name of the Lord:
10 Bendición sobre el reino venidero de nuestro padre David: Gloria en lo más alto.
Blessed [be] the kingdom of our father David, that cometh in the name of the Lord: Hosanna in the highest.
11 Y entró en Jerusalén al templo; y después de mirar alrededor en todas las cosas, siendo ahora la tarde, salió a Betania con los doce.
And Jesus entered into Jerusalem, and into the temple: and when he had looked round about upon all things, and now the eventide was come, he went out unto Bethany with the twelve.
12 Y al día siguiente, cuando habían salido de Betania, él tuvo hambre.
And on the morrow, when they were come from Bethany, he was hungry:
13 Y viendo una higuera en la distancia con hojas, fue a ver si por casualidad tenía algo en ella: y cuando llegó a ella, no vio nada más que hojas, porque no era el momento para el fruto.
And seeing a fig tree afar off having leaves, he came, if haply he might find any thing thereon: and when he came to it, he found nothing but leaves; for the time of figs was not [yet].
14 Y le dijo: Ninguno jamas tome de tu fruto. Y sus discípulos tomaron nota de sus palabras. (aiōn g165)
And Jesus answered and said unto it, No man eat fruit of thee hereafter for ever. And his disciples heard [it.] (aiōn g165)
15 Y vinieron a Jerusalén; y entró en el Templo, y envió a los que comerciaban allí, volcando las mesas de los cambistas y los asientos de aquellos que ofrecían palomas por dinero;
And they come to Jerusalem: and Jesus went into the temple, and began to cast out them that sold and bought in the temple, and overthrew the tables of the moneychangers, and the seats of them that sold doves;
16 Y no permitía que ningún hombre atravesase el templo con mercancía.
And would not suffer that any man should carry [any] vessel through the temple.
17 Y les dio enseñanza, y les dijo: ¿No está escrito en las Escrituras, se ha de llamar a mi casa casa de oración para todas las naciones? pero lo han convertido en una cueva de ladrones.
And he taught, saying unto them, Is it not written, My house shall be called of all nations the house of prayer? but ye have made it a den of thieves.
18 Y llegó a oídos de los principales sacerdotes y de los escribas, y pensaron cómo podían matarlo; teniendo miedo de él, porque todas las personas estaban maravilladas de su enseñanza.
And the scribes and chief priests heard [it], and sought how they might destroy him: for they feared him, because all the people was astonished at his doctrine.
19 Y cada tarde él salía de la ciudad.
And when even was come, he went out of the city.
20 Y cuando pasaban por la mañana, vieron la higuera muerta desde las raíces.
And in the morning, as they passed by, they saw the fig tree dried up from the roots.
21 Y Pedro, que lo recordaba, le dijo: Maestro, mira, el árbol que maldijiste se ha secado.
And Peter calling to remembrance saith unto him, Master, behold, the fig tree which thou cursedst is withered away.
22 Y respondiendo Jesús, les dijo: Ten fe en Dios.
And Jesus answering saith unto them, Have faith in God.
23 De cierto, de cierto les digo, que cualquiera que dice a este monte: Quítate y arrójate al mar; y no tiene dudas en su corazón, pero tiene fe en que lo que él dice que sucederá, tendrá su deseo.
For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith.
24 Por esta razón, les digo: cualquier cosa que pidan en oración, tengan fe en que se les ha dado, y la tendrán.
Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive [them], and ye shall have [them].
25 Y siempre que hagan una oración, que haya perdón en sus corazones, si tienen algo en contra de alguien; para que puedan tener perdón por sus pecados de su Padre que está en el cielo.
And when ye stand praying, forgive, if ye have ought against any: that your Father also which is in heaven may forgive you your trespasses.
26 Porque si ustedes no perdonan, tampoco su padre que está en el cielo les perdonará sus ofensas.
But if ye do not forgive, neither will your Father which is in heaven forgive your trespasses.
27 Y volvieron a Jerusalén; y estando él caminando en el Templo, vinieron a él los principales sacerdotes, y los escribas y los que estaban en autoridad.
And they come again to Jerusalem: and as he was walking in the temple, there come to him the chief priests, and the scribes, and the elders,
28 Y ellos le dijeron: ¿Con qué autoridad haces estas cosas? ¿o quién te dio autoridad para hacer estas cosas?
And say unto him, By what authority doest thou these things? and who gave thee this authority to do these things?
29 Y Jesús les dijo: Les haré una pregunta; dame una respuesta, y diré con qué autoridad hago estas cosas.
And Jesus answered and said unto them, I will also ask of you one question, and answer me, and I will tell you by what authority I do these things.
30 El bautismo de Juan, ¿era del cielo o de los hombres? Dame una respuesta.
The baptism of John, was [it] from heaven, or of men? answer me.
31 Y pensaron entre sí, diciendo: Si decimos: Del cielo; Él dirá: ¿Por qué entonces no tuviste fe en él?
And they reasoned with themselves, saying, If we shall say, From heaven; he will say, Why then did ye not believe him?
32 Pero si decimos: De los hombres, tenían miedo del pueblo, porque todos tomaron a Juan como un verdadero profeta.
But if we shall say, Of men; they feared the people: for all [men] counted John, that he was a prophet indeed.
33 Y dijeron en respuesta a Jesús, No tenemos idea. Y Jesús les dijo: Y no os diré con qué autoridad hago estas cosas.
And they answered and said unto Jesus, We cannot tell. And Jesus answering saith unto them, Neither do I tell you by what authority I do these things.
