Levítico 24
1 Y él Señor dijo a Moisés:
And the Lord spoke unto Moses, saying,
2 Ordena a los hijos de Israel que te den aceite de oliva limpio para la luz, de modo que la luz pueda estar ardiendo en todo momento.
Command the children of Israel, that they bring unto thee pure beaten olive-oil, for the lighting, to cause the lamp to burn continually.
3 Fuera del velo del arca en la Tienda de reunión; que Aarón ordenará que esté ardiendo desde la tarde hasta la mañana en todo momento ante el Señor. Es una regla para siempre a través de todas sus generaciones.
Without the vail of the testimony, in the tabernacle of the congregation, shall Aaron put it in order [for] from evening unto morning before the Lord continually; as a statute for ever in your generations.
4 Aarón pondrá las luces en orden sobre el candelabro ante el Señor en todo momento.
Upon the pure candlestick shall be put in order the lamps, before the Lord, continually.
5 Y toma la mejor harina y haga doce panes, una quinta parte de un efa en cada pan.
And thou shalt take fine flour, and bake thereof twelve cakes: of two tenth parts shall each one cake be.
6 Y ponlos en dos líneas, seis en línea, sobre la mesa santa delante del Señor.
And thou shalt place them in two rows, six in a row, upon the pure table before the Lord.
7 Y en la línea de panes, coloca incienso de olor Fragante, como recordatorio en el pan, una ofrenda quemada al Señor.
And thou shalt put upon each row pure frankincense, that it may be unto the bread for a memorial, as a fire-offering unto the Lord.
8 Cada sábado, el sacerdote debe ponerlo en orden delante del Señor, se ofrece por parte de los hijos de Israel, un pacto hecho para siempre.
On every and each sabbath day shall he place it in order before the Lord continually, [obtained] from the children of Israel as an everlasting covenant.
9 Y será para Aarón y sus hijos; deben tomarla para comer en un lugar santo. Es la más santa de todas las ofrendas quemadas al Señor, una regla para siempre.
And it shall belong to Aaron and to his sons; and they shall eat it in a holy place; for it is most holy unto him, from the fire-offerings of the Lord, as a perpetual fixed portion.
10 Y un hijo de una mujer israelita, cuyo padre era egipcio, salió entre los hijos de Israel y peleó contra un hombre de Israel en las tiendas;
And there went forth a son of an Israelitish woman, but who was the son of an Egyptian man, among the children of Israel; and there quarrelled together in the camp this son of the Israelitish woman and an Israelitish man.
11 Y el hijo de la mujer israelita dijo mal contra el santo Nombre, con maldiciones; y se lo llevaron a Moisés. El nombre de su madre era Selomit, la hija de Dibri, de la tribu de Dan.
And the son of the Israelitish woman pronounced the [holy] Name, and blasphemed; and they brought him unto Moses: [and his mother's name was Shelomith, the daughter of Dibri, of the tribe of Dan; ]
12 Y lo tuvieron bajo vigilancia, hasta que la boca del Señor pudiera tomar una decisión.
And they placed him in ward, until the decision of the Lord could be explained to them.
13 Y él Señor dijo a Moisés:
And the Lord spoke unto Moses, saying,
14 Toma al que maldijo fuera del campamento de la tienda; y que todos los que lo oyeron, pongan sus manos sobre su cabeza, y que todo el pueblo lo apedree.
Lead forth the blasphemer to without the camp; and all that have heard him shall lay their hands upon his head; and all the congregation shall stone him.
15 Y di a los hijos de Israel: En cuanto a cualquier hombre que maldice a Dios, su pecado estará sobre su cabeza.
And unto the children of Israel shalt thou speak, saying, Whatsoever man that blasphemeth his God shall bear his sin.
16 Y el que dice mal contra el nombre del Señor, ciertamente será condenado a muerte; será apedreado por todo el pueblo; El hombre que no es de tu nación y el que es israelita de nacimiento, el que dice mal contra el santo Nombre, debe ser condenado a muerte.
But he that pronounced the name of the Lord [with blasphemy] shall be put to death, all the congregation shall stone him; be he a stranger, or be he one that is born in the land, when he pronounceth the [holy] Name [with blasphemy, ] he shall be put to death.
17 Y cualquiera que tome la vida de otro debe ser condenado a muerte.
And he that taketh the life of any man shall surely be put to death.
18 Y cualquiera que hiera a una bestia y cause su muerte, tendrá que pagarla: una vida por una vida.
And he that taketh the life of a beast shall make it good: beast for beast.
19 Y si un hombre hace daño a su prójimo, como lo ha hecho, así le sea hecho;
And if a man cause a bodily defect in his neighbor, as he hath done, so shall be done to him;
20 Herida por herida, ojo por ojo, diente por diente; cualquier daño que haya hecho, así hágase con él.
Breach for breach, eye for eye, tooth for tooth: in the manner as he hath caused a bodily defect in a man, so shall it be done to him.
21 El que mata a una bestia tendrá que pagarla; el que mata a un hombre, él mismo será muerto.
And he that killeth a beast, shall make restitution for it; and he that killeth a man, shall be put to death.
22 Debes tener la misma ley para un hombre de otra nación que viva entre ustedes como para un israelita; porque yo soy el Señor tu Dios.
One manner of judicial law shall ye have, the stranger shall be equal with one of your own country; for I am the Lord your God.
23 Entonces Moisés dijo estas palabras a los hijos de Israel, y tomaron al hombre que había estado maldiciendo fuera del círculo de la tienda y lo apedrearon. Los hijos de Israel hicieron lo que el Señor le ordenó a Moisés.
And Moses spoke to the children of Israel; and they led forth the blasphemer to without the camp, and they stoned him with stones; and the children of Israel did as the Lord had commanded Moses.
