Levítico 22
1 Y él Señor dijo a Moisés:
The Lord also spoke to Moses saying:
2 Ordena a Aarón y a sus hijos que se mantengan separados de las cosas santas que los hijos de Israel me dan, y que no hagan que mi santo nombre sea profanado. Yo soy el Señor.
Speak to Aaron and to his sons, so that they may be careful of those things which have been consecrated for the sons of Israel, and so that they may not contaminate the name of the things sanctified to me, which they offer. I am the Lord.
3 Díles: Si algún hombre de toda tu descendencia a través de todas tus generaciones, siendo impuro, se acerca a las cosas santas que los hijos de Israel consagran para el Señor, él será cortado de delante de mí. Yo soy El Señor.
Say to them and to their posterity: Every man of your stock, who approaches toward those things which have been consecrated, and which the sons of Israel have brought forward to the Lord, in whom there is uncleanness, shall perish before the Lord. I am the Lord.
4 Ningún hombre de la simiente de Aarón, que es un leproso o que derrame de su cuerpo, puede tomar la comida sagrada hasta que esté limpio. Y cualquier hombre tocando cualquier cosa que sea impura a causa de los muertos, o cualquier hombre cuya emisión de semen salga de él;
The man of the offspring of Aaron, who is a leper or who is suffering a flow of seed, shall not eat of those things which have been sanctified to me, until he is healed. Whoever will have touched what is unclean because of the dead, and he whose seed goes out from him, as if from sexual intercourse,
5 O cualquiera que toque alguna cosa impura que se deslice sobre la tierra, o alguien por quien pueda ser impuro de cualquier manera;
and whoever has touched a creeping thing, or any kind of unclean thing, the touching of which is filthy,
6 Cualquier persona que toque algo inmundo será impura hasta la tarde, y no podrá tomar la comida sagrada hasta que su carne haya sido bañada en agua;
shall be unclean until evening, and shall not eat those things which have been sanctified. But when he has washed his flesh with water,
7 Y cuando el sol se haya puesto, él estará limpio; y después de eso puede participar en la comida santa, porque es su pan.
and the sun has set, then, having been purified, he shall eat from what has been sanctified, because it is his food.
8 Lo que llega a una muerte natural, o es atacado por bestias, no puede tomarlo como alimento, ya que lo hará inmundo. Yo soy el Señor.
Whatever dies on its own, and whatever has been seized by a wild beast, they shall not eat, nor shall they be polluted by these. I am the Lord.
9 Entonces, que guarden mis ordenanzas las que yo he puesto a su cuidado, por temor a que el pecado pueda caer sobre ellos, causando así su muerte porque la han profanado. Yo soy el Señor, quien los hace santos.
Let them observe my precepts, so that they may not fall under sin, and die in the Sanctuary, when they will have defiled it. I am the Lord, who sanctifies them.
10 Ninguna persona externa puede comer la comida sagrada, o una que viva como huésped en la casa del sacerdote, o un sirviente.
No foreigner shall eat from what has been sanctified; a guest of the priests and a hired servant shall not eat from them.
11 Pero cualquier sacerdote que haya comprado una persona de su dinero, éste podrá comer de la ofrenda sagrada; y los que nacen en su casa, comerán de su pan también.
But whomever the priest has bought, and whoever has been born into his house, these shall eat from them.
12 Y si la hija de un sacerdote está casada con una persona externa, ella no puede tomar de las cosas santas que se levantan como ofrendas.
If the daughter of a priest has been married to any of the people, she shall not eat from what has been sanctified, nor from the first-fruits.
13 Pero si la hija de un sacerdote es viuda o se separa de su esposo, no tiene hijos y regresa a la casa de su padre como cuando era niña, ella puede tomar el pan de su padre; pero ninguna persona externa puede hacerlo.
But if she is a widow or divorced, and, being without children, she returns to her father’s house, she shall be nourished by her father’s foods, just as she was accustomed to do as a girl. No foreigner shall have the authority to eat from them.
14 Y si un hombre toma la santa comida por error, tendrá que devolver la cosa sagrada al sacerdote, con la adición de una quinta parte.
Whoever, through ignorance, eats from what has been sanctified shall add a fifth part to that which he ate, and he shall give it to the priest at the Sanctuary.
15 Y no profanarán las cosas santas que los hijos de Israel dan al Señor,
And they shall not contaminate what has been sanctified from the sons of Israel, which they offer to the Lord,
16 Entonces, haciendo que caiga el pecado sobre ellos cuando toman sus cosas santas para comer: Yo soy el Señor que los hace santos.
lest perhaps they may suffer the iniquity of their offense, when they will have eaten what has been sanctified. I am the Lord, who sanctifies them.
17 Y él Señor dijo a Moisés:
And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying:
18 Di a Aarón, a sus hijos y a todos los hijos de Israel: si alguno de los hijos de Israel, o de otra nación que vive en Israel, hace una ofrenda, dada por un juramento o dada gratuitamente al Señor por una ofrenda quemada;
Speak to Aaron, and to his sons, and to all the sons of Israel, and you shall say to them: The man from the house of Israel, or from the newcomers who live with you, who would bring forward his oblation, either fulfilling his vows or offering spontaneously, whatever he brings forward as a holocaust for the Lord,
19 Para que sea agradable al Señor, que dé un macho, sin ningún defecto, de entre los bueyes o las ovejas o las cabras.
in order to be offered through you, shall offer an immaculate male from the oxen, or from the sheep, or from the goats.
20 Pero cualquier cosa que tenga un defecto no se puede dar; no complacerá al Señor.
If it has a blemish, you shall not offer it, and it shall not be acceptable.
21 Y el que hace una ofrenda de paz al Señor, pagando un juramento o como ofrenda gratuita, de la manada o del rebaño, si es para agradar al Señor, sea libre de todo defecto.
The man who will have offered a victim of peace offerings to the Lord, either fulfilling his vows or offering spontaneously, whether of oxen, or of sheep, shall offer what is immaculate, so that it may be acceptable. There shall be no blemish in it.
22 Cualquier cosa ciega o rota o dañada o que tenga alguna enfermedad o defecto no puede ser ofrecida al Señor; No puedes hacer una ofrenda de ella por fuego sobre el altar al Señor.
If it is blind, or if it is broken, or if it has a scar, or if it is has a boil, or a skin disease or infection, you shall not offer these to the Lord, nor shall you burn any of these upon the altar of the Lord.
23 Un buey o un cordero que tiene partes más cortas o más largas, no puede darse como una ofrenda gratis; Pero no se tomará en pago de un juramento.
An ox or a sheep, having an amputated ear or tail, you are able to offer voluntarily, but a vow is not able to be fulfilled by these.
24 Un animal que tiene partes del sexo dañadas o aplastadas o rotas o cortadas, no puede ser ofrecido al Señor; Tal cosa no puede hacerse en ningún lugar de tu tierra.
You shall not offer to the Lord any animal which has the testicles bruised, or crushed, or cut and taken away, and you shall not cause any of these things in your land.
25 Y de alguien que no es israelita no puedes tomar ninguno de estos para una ofrenda al Señor; porque son impuros, hay un defecto en ellos, y el Señor no estará complacido con ellos.
From the hand of a foreigner, you shall not offer bread to your God, nor anything else that he would choose to give; for all this has been corrupted and blemished. You shall not accept them.
26 Y él Señor dijo a Moisés:
And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying:
27 Cuando un buey o una oveja o una cabra nazca, déjalo estar con su madre durante siete días; y después del octavo día puede tomarse como una ofrenda hecha por fuego al Señor.
An ox, a sheep, or a goat, when they have been born, shall be under the udder of their mother for seven days. But on the eighth day and thereafter, they are able to be offered to the Lord.
28 Una vaca o una oveja no puede ser condenada a muerte con sus crías el mismo día.
Whether it is an ox, or a sheep, they shall not be immolated on the same day with their newborns.
29 Y cuando hagas una ofrenda de alabanza al Señor, hazlo de una manera que le agrade.
If you immolate a victim as an act of thanksgiving to the Lord, so that he may be pleased,
30 Dejen que sea usado para comer en el mismo día; No guardes nada hasta la mañana: Yo soy el Señor.
you shall eat it on the same day; none of it shall remain until morning on the next day. I am the Lord.
31 Entonces, cumple mis órdenes y hazlas: Yo soy el Señor.
Observe my commandments, and do them. I am the Lord.
32 Y no profanen mi santo nombre; para que los hijos de Israel lo guarden santo: Yo soy el Señor que los santifico.
Do not pollute my holy name, so that I may be sanctified in the midst of the sons of Israel. I am the Lord, who sanctifies you,
33 Quien te sacó de la tierra de Egipto para que yo sea tu Dios: Yo soy el Señor.
and who led you away from the land of Egypt, so that I may be to you as God. I am the Lord.
