Levítico 10
1 Y Nadab y Abiú, los hijos de Aarón, tomaron su incensario y pusieron fuego e incienso en ellos, quemando fuego extraño ante el Señor, el cual no les había dado órdenes de hacer.
But Nadab and Abihu, the sonnes of Aaron, tooke either of them his censor, and put fire therein, and put incense thereupon, and offred strange fire before the Lord, which hee had not commanded them.
2 Y salió fuego de delante de él Señor, quemándolos, y causando su destrucción delante del Señor.
Therefore a fire went out from the Lord, and deuoured them: so they dyed before the Lord.
3 Entonces Moisés dijo a Aarón: Esto es lo que dijo el Señor: Seré santo a los ojos de todos los que se acercan a mí, y seré honrado ante todo el pueblo. Y Aarón no dijo nada.
Then Moses sayde vnto Aaron, This is it that the Lord spake, saying, I will bee sanctified in the that come neere me, and before all the people I will be glorified: but Aaron held his peace.
4 Entonces Moisés mandó llamar a Misael y a Elzafán, los hijos de Uziel, el hermano del padre de Aarón, y les dijo: Acércate y aleja a tus hermanos de delante del lugar santo, fuera del campamento de la tienda.
And Moses called Mishael and Elzaphan the sonnes of Vzziel, the vncle of Aaron, and saide vnto them, Come neere, cary your brethre from before the Sanctuarie out of the hoste.
5 Entonces, vinieron y los llevaron, con sus túnicas, fuera del campamento de la tienda, como Moisés había dicho.
Then they went, and caried them in their coates out of the host, as Moses had comaunded.
6 Entonces Moisés dijo a Aarón, y a Eleazar e Itamar, sus hijos: No descubran su pelo, ni rasguen sus vestidos; para que la muerte no los alcance, y su ira venga sobre todo el pueblo; pero que haya llanto entre sus hermanos y toda la casa de Israel por la ira que encendía al Señor.
After, Moses saide vnto Aaron and vnto Eleazar and Ithamar his sonnes, Vncouer not your heads, neither rent your clothes, least ye dye, and least wrath come vpon all ye people: but let your brethren, all the house of Israel bewayle the burning which the Lord hath kindled.
7 Y no salgan por la puerta de la tienda de reunión, o la muerte vendrá a ustedes; porque el aceite santo de él Señor está sobre ustedes. E hicieron lo que Moisés dijo.
And go not yee out from the doore of the Tabernacle of the Congregation, least ye dye: for the anointing oyle of the Lord is vpon you: and they did according to Moses commandement.
8 Y él Señor dijo a Aarón:
And the Lord spake vnto Aaron, saying,
9 No beberán vino ni bebida fermentada, ni tu ni tus hijos, cuando vayas a la Tienda de la reunión, para que no sea la causa de tu muerte; Esta es un orden para siempre a través de todas sus generaciones.
Thou shalt not drinke wine nor strong drinke, thou, nor thy sonnes with thee, when yee come into the Tabernacle of the Congregation, lest ye die: this is an ordinance for euer throughout your generations,
10 Para que puedan distinguir entre lo santo y lo común, y entre lo inmundo y lo limpio;
That ye may put difference betweene the holy and the vnholy, and betweene the cleane and the vncleane,
11 Enseña a los hijos de Israel todas las leyes que el Señor les ha dado por medio de Moisés.
And that ye may teach the children of Israel all the statutes which the Lord hath commanded them by the hand of Moses.
12 Entonces Moisés dijo a Aarón y a Eleazar e Itamar, sus hijos que aún vivían: toma el resto de la ofrenda de cereales de las ofrendas del Señor, y tómala para tu comida, sin levadura, al lado del altar, porque es santísimo.
Then Moses saide vnto Aaron and vnto Eleazar and to Ithamar his sonnes that were left, Take the meate offring that remaineth of the offrings of the Lord, made by fire, and eate it without leauen beside ye altar: for it is most holy:
13 Es para tu comida; la comerán en un lugar consagrado, porque es tu derecho y el derecho de tus hijos, de las ofrendas que se queman en honor del Señor; porque así se me ha ordenado.
And ye shall eate it in the holy place, because it is thy duetie and thy sonnes duety of the offringes of the Lord made by fire: for so I am commanded.
14 Y el pecho que se mece y la pierna que se levanta en alto, debes tomar tu alimento en un lugar limpio; tú y tus hijos y tus hijas contigo, porque te son dados como derecho de ti y por derecho de tus hijos, de las ofrendas de paz de los hijos de Israel.
Also the shaken breast and the heaue shoulder shall yee eate in a cleane place: thou, and thy sonnes, and thy daughters with thee: for they are giuen as thy duetie and thy sonnes duety, of the peace offringes of the children of Israel.
15 Dejen que tomen el pecho que se menea y la pierna que se levanta en alto, con la grasa de la ofrenda quemada, para ser meneada para una ofrenda mecida ante el Señor; y esto será para ti y para tus hijos contigo, para siempre el derecho que el Señor ha dado.
The heaue shoulder, and the shaken breast shall they bring with the offringes made by fire of the fat, to shake it to and from before the Lord, and it shalbe thine and thy sonnes with thee by a lawe for euer, as the Lord hath commanded.
16 Y Moisés estaba buscando la cabra de la ofrenda por el pecado, pero fue quemada; y se enojó con Eleazar e Itamar, los hijos de Aarón, que aún vivían, diciendo:
And Moses sought the goate that was offred for sinne, and lo, it was burnt: therefore he was angrie with Eleazar and Ithamar the sonnes of Aaron, which were left aliue, saying,
17 ¿Por qué no comiste de la ofrenda por el pecado en el lugar santo? Porque es santísimo y él te lo ha dado, para que el pecado de la gente pueda ser puesto sobre ustedes, para quitar su pecado ante el Señor.
Wherfore haue ye not eaten the sinne offring in the holy place, seeing it is most Holie? and God hath giuen it you, to beare the iniquitie of the Congregation, to make an atonement for them before the Lord.
18 Mira, su sangre no fue llevada al lugar santo: ciertamente ustedes debieron haber comido en el lugar santo, como di las órdenes.
Beholde, the blood of it was not brought within the holy place: ye should haue eaten it in the holy place, as I commanded.
19 Y Aarón dijo a Moisés: Tú has visto que hoy han hecho su ofrenda por el pecado y su ofrenda quemada delante del Señor, y cosas como estas han venido sobre mí. Si hubiera tomado la ofrenda por el pecado como alimento hoy, ¿habría sido agradable al Señor?
And Aaron said vnto Moses, Behold, this day haue they offred their sinne offring, and their burnt offring before the Lord, and such things as thou knowest are come vnto mee: If I had eaten the sinne offring to day, should it haue bene accepted in the sight of the Lord?
20 Y después de escuchar esto, Moisés ya no estaba enojado.
So when Moses heard it, he was content.
