Judas 1
1 Judas, siervo de Jesucristo y hermano de Santiago, a los llamados de Dios que han sido santificados por Dios el Padre y se mantienen guardados en Jesucristo:
To those who, having received the call, have been loved by God the Father and protected by Jesus Christ, From Jude, a servant of Jesus Christ, and the brother of James.
2 Misericordia a ustedes, la paz y el amor en abundancia.
May mercy, peace, and love be yours in ever increasing measure.
3 Amados, mientras mis pensamientos estaban llenos de una carta que les iba a enviar acerca de nuestra salvación común, era necesario que les enviara una que les pedía de todo corazón que siguieran luchando fuertemente por la fe que una vez fue entregada a los santos de una vez y para siempre.
Dear friends, while I was making every effort to write to you about our common salvation, I felt that I must write to you at once to encourage you to fight in defence of the faith that has once for all been entrusted to the keeping of Christ’s people.
4 Porque ciertos hombres han venido secretamente entre ustedes, señalados anteriormente en las Sagradas Escrituras para condenación, hombres sin el temor de Dios, convirtiendo su gracia en cosa inmunda, y negando a nuestro único Maestro y Señor, Jesucristo.
For there have crept in among you certain godless people, whose sentence has long since been pronounced, and who make the mercy of God an excuse for profligacy, and disown our only lord and master, Jesus Christ.
5 Ahora es mi propósito recordarte, aunque una vez tuviste conocimiento de todas estas cosas, de cómo el Señor, habiendo sacado a salvo a un pueblo de Egipto, más tarde envió destrucción sobre aquellos que no creyeron;
Now I want to remind you – but you already know it all – that, though the Lord delivered the people from Egypt, yet he afterwards destroyed those who refused to believe in him;
6 Y los ángeles que no guardaron su dignidad sino que salieron del lugar que era suyo, él ha puesto en prisiones eternas y oscura hasta el gran día del juicio. (aïdios g126)
and that even those angels, who did not keep to their appointed spheres, but left their proper homes, have been kept by him for the judgment of the great day in everlasting chains and black darkness. (aïdios g126)
7 Así como Sodoma y Gomorra, y las ciudades cercanas a ellos, teniendo así, entregados a deseos inmundos y perseguidos por vicios contra la naturaleza, se han convertido en un ejemplo, sometidos al castigo del fuego eterno. (aiōnios g166)
Like Sodom and Gomorrah and the towns near them, which gave themselves up to fornication, and fell into unnatural vice, these angels now stand out as a warning, undergoing, as they are, punishment in eternal fire. (aiōnios g166)
8 De la misma manera estos soñadores contaminan la carne, no respetan a las autoridades del Señor e insultan a los poderes superiores.
Yet in the same way these people, too, cherishing vain dreams, pollute our human nature, reject control, and malign the celestial beings.
9 Cuando Miguel, uno de los principales ángeles, peleaban contra el Maligno por el cuerpo de Moisés, temiendo usar palabras violentas contra él, solo dijo: que el Señor te reprenda.
Yet even Michael, the archangel, when, in his dispute with the devil, he was arguing about the body of Moses, did not venture to charge him with maligning, but said merely “The Lord rebuke you!”
10 Pero estos hombres dicen mal sobre cosas de las que no tienen conocimiento; y las cosas de las que tienen conocimiento natural, como bestias sin razón, son la causa de su destrucción.
But these people malign whatever they do not understand; while they use such things as they know by instinct (like the animals that have no reason) for their own corruption.
11 ¡Ay de ellos! Han seguido el camino de Caín, corrieron por lucro en el error de Balaam por recompensa, y han venido a la destrucción diciendo mal contra el Señor, como Coré.
Alas for them! They walk in the steps of Cain; led astray by Balaam’s love of gain, they plunge into sin, and meet their ruin through rebellion like Korah.
12 Estos hombres son piedras invisibles en tus fiestas de amor fraternal, cuando participan en ellas, comen y beben sin mostrar ningún respeto por los demás; pastores de sí mismos; nubes sin agua que se precipitan ante el viento, árboles desperdiciados sin fruto, dos veces muertos, arrancados de raíz,
These are the people who are blots on your “love-feasts,” when they feast together and provide without scruple for themselves alone. They are clouds without rain, driven before the winds; they are leafless trees without a vestige of fruit, dead through and through, torn up by the roots;
13 Olas violentas del mar, que arrojan como espuma su propia vergüenza, estrellas errantes para quienes la noche más oscura se guarda para siempre. (aiōn g165)
they are wild sea waves, foaming with their own shame; they are “wandering stars,” for which the blackest darkness has been reserved for ever. (aiōn g165)
14 El profeta Enoc, que era el séptimo después de Adán, dijo de estos hombres: El Señor vino con decenas de miles de sus santos,
To these people, as to others, Enoch, the seventh in descent from Adam, declared – “See! The Lord has come with his hosts of holy ones around him,
15 Para ser el juez de todos, y para tomar una decisión contra todos aquellos cuyas vidas le son desagradables. por las malas acciones que han hecho, y por todas las cosas duras que los pecadores sin temor de Dios han dicho contra él.
to execute judgment on all people, and to convict all godless people of all their godless acts, which in their ungodliness they have committed, and of all the harsh words which they have spoken against him, godless sinners that they are!”
16 Estos son los hombres que causan problemas, que siempre desean el cambio, que persiguen los malos placeres, usan palabras altisonantes, respetan la posición de los hombres con la esperanza de obtener recompensas.
These people are always murmuring, and complaining of their lot; they follow where their passions lead them; they have arrogant words on their lips; and they flatter others for the sake of what they can get from them.
17 Pero ustedes, mis amados, recuerden las palabras que los apóstoles de nuestro Señor Jesucristo dijeron anteriormente,
But you should, dear friends, recall what was foretold by the apostles of our Lord Jesus Christ;
18 Cómo les dijeron: En los últimos días habrá hombres que, guiados por sus malos deseos, habrá burladores de cosas santas.
how they used to say to you – “As time draws to an end, there will be scoffers, who will be led by their godless passions.”
19 Estos son los hombres que hacen divisiones, hombres con deseos naturales, que no tienen el Espíritu de Dios.
These are the people – animal and unspiritual – who cause divisions.
20 Pero ustedes, mis amados, edificandose sobre su santa fe y haciendo oraciones en el Espíritu Santo.
But you must, dear friends, build up your characters on the foundation of your most holy faith, pray under the guidance of the Holy Spirit,
21 Manténganse en el amor de Dios, buscando la vida eterna por la misericordia de nuestro Señor Jesucristo. (aiōnios g166)
and keep within the love of God, while waiting for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ, to bring you to eternal life. (aiōnios g166)
22 Convence a los que tienen dudas;
To some show pity, because they are in doubt. “Drag them out of the fire,” and save them.
23 Y a otros salvar, sacándolos del fuego; y algunos tienen misericordia con temor, odiando incluso la ropa que es impura por la carne.
To others show pity, but with caution, hating the clothing polluted by their touch.
24 Y aquel que es poderoso, para cuidar de que no caigan y para presentarlos sin mancha y llenos de alegría ante su gloriosa presencia,
To him who is able to guard you from falling, and to bring you into his glorious presence, blameless and rejoicing –
25 Al único Dios Sabio nuestro Salvador, démosle gloria, la grandeza y honor, autoridad y poder, antes de todos los tiempos, ahora y siempre. Que así sea. (aiōn g165)
to the one God, our Saviour, be ascribed, through Jesus Christ, our Lord, glory, majesty, power, and dominion, as it was before time began, is now, and will be for all time to come. Amen. (aiōn g165)
