Josué 21
1 Entonces los jefes de las familias de los levitas se acercaron al sacerdote Eleazar y a Josué, hijo de Nun, y a los jefes de las familias de las tribus de los hijos de Israel;
Then came near the ancestral heads of the Levites, unto Eleazar, the priest, and unto Joshua son of Nun, —and unto the ancestral heads of the tribes, of the sons of Israel;
2 Y les dijeron en Silo, en la tierra de Canaán: El Señor ordenó a Moisés que tuviéramos pueblos para vivir, con sus pastizales para nuestro ganado.
and spake unto them in Shiloh in the land of Canaan, saying: Yahweh himself, commanded, by the hand of Moses, that there should be given unto us cities to dwell in, —with their pasture-lands for our cattle.
3 Y los hijos de Israel de su herencia dieron a los levitas estas ciudades con sus pastizales, por orden del Señor.
So the sons of Israel gave unto the Levites, out of their own inheritance, at the bidding of Yahweh, —these cities, with their pasture-lands.
4 Y salió la heredad de las familias de los Coats: los hijos del sacerdote Aarón, que eran de los levitas, recibieron trece ciudades de las tribus de Judá, Simeón y Benjamín.
And, when the lot came out for the families of the Kohathites, then had the sons of Aaron the priest, from among the Levites—out of the tribe of Judah and out of the tribe of the Simeonites and out of the tribe of Benjamin—by lot, thirteen cities.
5 El resto de los hijos de Coat por sus familias recibieron diez ciudades de las tribus de Efraín y Dan y la media tribu de Manasés.
And, the sons of Kohath that remained, had—out of the families of the tribe of Ephraim and out of the tribe of Dan and out of the half tribe of Manasseh—by lot, ten cities.
6 A los hijos de Gersón de sus familias se les dio trece ciudades de las tribus de Isacar y Aser y Neftalí y la media tribu de Manasés que estaba en Basán.
And, the sons of Gershon, had—out of families of the tribe of Issachar and out of the tribe of Asher and out of the tribe of Naphtali and out of the half tribe of Manasseh in Bashan—by lot, thirteen cities.
7 Los hijos de Merari por sus familias recibieron doce ciudades de las tribus de Rubén y Gad y Zabulón.
The sons of Merari, by their families, had—out of the tribe of Reuben and out of the tribe of Gad and out of the tribe of Zebulun, twelve cities.
8 Todos estos pueblos con sus pastizales los hijos de Israel dieron por decisión del Señor a los levitas, como el Señor había dado las órdenes de Moisés.
So the sons of Israel gave unto the Levites these cities, with their pasture lands, —as Yahweh commanded, by the hand of Moses, by lot.
9 De las tribus de los hijos de Judá y de los hijos de Simeón dieron estos pueblos, enumerados aquí por nombre:
Thus then they gave—out of the tribe of the sons of Judah and out of the tribe of the sons of Simeon—these cities which are mentioned by name.
10 Estos fueron para los hijos de Aarón entre las familias de los Coatitas, de los hijos de Leví, porque fueron los primeros en la distribución.
And the sons of Aaron, from among the sons of Kohath, from among the sons of Levi, had them, —because, theirs, was the first lot;
11 Les dieron a Quiriat-arba, la ciudad de Arba, el padre de Anac, que es Hebrón en la región montañosa de Judá, con sus pastizales.
yea there was given unto them, the city of Arba, the father of Anak, the same, is Hebron, in the hill country of Judah, —with the pasture land thereof, round about it;
12 Pero el campo abierto alrededor de la ciudad, y sus aldeas, le dieron a Caleb, el hijo de Jefone, como su propiedad.
whereas, the fields of the city, and the villages thereof, gave they unto Caleb son of Jephunneh, as his possession.
13 Y a los hijos del sacerdote Aarón dieron a Hebrón con sus pastizales, la ciudad donde el que tomaba la vida podría estar a salvo, Libna con sus pastizales;
But, unto the sons of Aaron the priest, gave they the city of refuge for the manslayer, even Hebron, with the pasture lands thereof, —Libnah also, with her pasture lands;
14 Jatir con sus pastizales, Estemoa con sus pastizales;
and Jattir with her pasture land, and Eshtemoa with her pasture land;
15 Holón con sus pastizales, Debir con sus pastizales;
and Holon, with her pasture land, and Debir, with her pasture land;
16 Ain, y Juta, y Bet-semes, con sus pastizales; Nueve pueblos de esas dos tribus.
and Ain, with her pasture land, and Juttah, with her pasture land, Beth-shemesh, with her pasture land, —nine cities, out of these two tribes.
17 Y de la tribu de Benjamín dieron Gabaón y Geba con sus pastizales;
And, out of the tribe of Benjamin, Gibeon, with her pasture land, —Geba, with her pasture land;
18 Anatot y Almón con sus pastizales, cuatro pueblos.
Anathoth, with her pasture land, and Almon, with her pasture land, —four cities.
19 Trece ciudades con sus pastizales fueron entregadas a los hijos de Aarón, los sacerdotes.
All the cities of the sons of Aaron, the priests, were thirteen cities, with their pasture lands.
20 El resto de las familias de los hijos de Coat, los levitas, recibieron ciudades de la tribu de Efraín.
And, as for the families of the sons of Kohath, the Levites, which remained of the sons of Kohath, the cities of their lot were out of the tribe of Ephraim.
21 Y les dieron a Siquem con sus pastizales en la región montañosa de Efraín, la ciudad donde el que tomaba la vida podría estar a salvo, y Gezer con sus pastizales;
So they gave unto them a city of refuge for the manslayer, even Shechem with her pasture land, in the hill country of Ephraim, —also Gezer, with her pasture land;
22 Kibsaim y Bet-horon con sus pastizales, cuatro pueblos.
and Kibzaim, with her pasture land, and Beth-horon, with her pasture land, —four cities.
23 Y de la tribu de Dan, Elteque y Gibeton con sus pastizales;
And, out of the tribe of Dan, Elteke, with her pasture land, —Gibbethon, with her pasture land;
24 Ajalón y Gat-Rimón con sus pastizales, cuatro pueblos.
Aijalon, with her pasture land, Gath-rimmon, with her pasture land, —four cities.
25 Y de la media tribu de Manasés, Taanac y Gat-rimon con sus praderas, dos ciudades.
And, out of the half tribe of Manasseh, Taanach, with her pasture land, and Gath-rimmon, with her pasture land, —two cities.
26 Todos los pueblos del resto de las familias de los hijos de Coat eran diez con sus pastizales.
All the cities, were ten, with their pasture lands: for the families of the sons of Kohath which remained.
27 Y a los hijos de Gersón, de las familias de los levitas, les dieron de la media tribu de Manasés, Golán en Basán con sus pastizales, la ciudad donde el que toma la vida podría estar a salvo, y Beestera con Sus pastizales, dos pueblos.
And, the sons of Gershon, of the families of the Levites, had, out of the half tribe of Manasseh, a city of refuge for the manslayer, even Golan in Bashan, with her pasture land, and Be-eshterah, with her pasture land, —two cities.
28 Y de la tribu de Isacar, Cison, Daberat con sus pastizales;
And, out of the tribe of Issachar, Kishion, with her pasture land, —Daberath, with her pasture land;
29 Jarmut, En-ganim con sus pastizales, cuatro pueblos.
Jarmuth, with her pasture land, En-gannim, with her pasture land, —four cities.
30 Y de la tribu de Aser, Misael y Abdón, con sus pastizales:
And, out of the tribe of Asher, Mishal, with her pasture land, Abdon, with her pasture land;
31 Helcat y Rehob con sus pastizales, cuatro pueblos.
Helkath, with her pasture land, and Rehob, with her pasture land, —four cities.
32 Y de la tribu de Neftalí, Cedes en Galilea con sus pastizales, la ciudad donde el que toma la vida podría estar a salvo, y Hamot -dor y Cartan con sus pastizales, tres ciudades.
And, out of the tribe of Naphtali, a city of refuge for the manslayer—even Kedesh in Galilee, with her pasture land, and Hammoth-dor, with her pasture land, and Kartan, with her pasture land, —three cities.
33 Todos los pueblos de los gersonitas con sus familias eran trece con sus praderas.
All, the cities of the Gershonites, by their families, were thirteen cities, with their pasture lands.
34 Y al resto de los levitas, es decir, a las familias de los hijos de Merari, les dieron de la tribu de Zabulón, Jocneam y Carta con sus pastizales;
And, unto the families of the sons of Merari, the Levites that remained, out of the tribe of Zebulun, Jokneam, with her pasture land, —Kartah, with her pasture land;
35 Dimna y Naalal con sus pastizales, cuatro pueblos.
Dimnah, with her pasture land, Nahalal, with her pasture land, —four cities.
36 Y de la tribu de Rubén, Bezer y Jahaza con sus pastizales;
And, out of the tribe of Reuben, Bezer, with her pasture land, —and Jahaz, with her pasture land;
37 Cademot y Mefaat con sus pastizales, cuatro pueblos.
Kedemoth, with her pasture land and Mephaath, with her pasture land, —four cities.
38 de la tribu de Gad, Ramot en Galaad, la ciudad donde el que toma la vida podría estar a salvo, y Mahanaim con sus pastizales;
And, out of the tribe of Gad, a city of refuge for the manslayer—even Ramoth in Gilead, with her pasture land, —and Mahanaim, with her pasture land;
39 Hesbón y Jazer con sus pastizales, cuatro pueblos.
Heshbon, with her pasture land, Jazer, with her pasture land, —in all, four cities.
40 Todos estos pueblos fueron dados a los hijos de Merari por sus familias, es decir, el resto de las familias de los levitas; y su patrimonio fue doce pueblos.
All the cities for the sons of Merari, by their families, who remained of the families of the Levites, yea their lot was, twelve, cities.
41 Todas las ciudades de los levitas, entre la herencia de los hijos de Israel, eran cuarenta y ocho ciudades con sus pastizales.
All the cities of the Levites, in the midst of the possession of the sons of Israel, were forty-eight cities, with their pasture lands:
42 Cada uno de estos pueblos tenía pastizales a su alrededor.
these cities passed, each severally, with its pasture lands round about it; thus, was it with all these cities.
43 Y él Señor dio a Israel toda la tierra que hizo con juramento a sus padres; Así se convirtió en su patrimonio y su lugar de vida.
So Yahweh gave unto Israel, all the land which he had sworn to give unto their fathers, —and they took possession thereof, and dwelt therein.
44 Y el Señor les dio paz por todas partes, como había dicho a sus padres: todos los que estaban contra ellos se rindieron ante ellos, porque el Señor los entregó a todos en sus manos.
And Yahweh gave them rest round about, according to all that he had sworn unto their fathers, —and there stood not a man before them, of all their enemies; all their enemies, did Yahweh deliver into their hand.
45 Ni una sola palabra quedó sin cumplirse, en la casa de Israel sobre todo el bien que él Señor dijo que haría por ellos, y todas sus palabras se hicieron realidad.
There failed not a thing, out of all the good things, whereof Yahweh had spoken unto the house of Israel, —the whole, came to pass.
