Josué 18
1 Y toda la reunión de los hijos de Israel se reunió en Silo y puso la Tienda de la reunión allí, después que la tierra les fue sometida delante de ellos.
And all the meeting of the children of Israel came together at Shiloh and put up the Tent of meeting there: and the land was crushed before them.
2 Pero aún había siete tribus entre los hijos de Israel que no habían tomado su herencia.
But there were still seven tribes among the children of Israel who had not taken up their heritage.
3 Entonces Josué dijo a los hijos de Israel: ¿Por qué tardan tanto en entrar y tomar su herencia en la tierra que el Señor, el Dios de sus padres, les ha dado?
Then Joshua said to the children of Israel, Why are you so slow to go in and take up your heritage in the land which the Lord, the God of your fathers, has given you?
4 Toma de entre ustedes tres hombres de cada tribu; y los enviaré a recorrer la tierra y hacer un registro de la misma para distribuirla como su patrimonio; entonces que vuelvan a mí.
Take from among you three men from every tribe; and I will send them to go through the land and make a record of it for distribution as their heritage; then let them come back to me.
5 Y déjales que lo dividan en siete partes. Que Judá se mantenga dentro de su límite en el sur, y que los hijos de José se mantengan dentro de su límite en el norte.
And let them make division of it into seven parts: let Judah keep inside his limit on the south, and let the children of Joseph keep inside their limit on the north.
6 Y deben tener la tierra marcada en siete partes, y volver a mí con el registro; y haré la distribución para ustedes aquí por la decisión del Señor nuestro Dios.
And you are to have the land marked out in seven parts, and come back to me with the record; and I will make the distribution for you here by the decision of the Lord our God.
7 Los levitas no tienen parte entre ustedes; ser sacerdotes del Señor es su herencia; y Gad y Ruben y la media tribu de Manasés han tenido su herencia en el lado este del Jordán, que les dio Moisés, el siervo del Señor.
For the Levites have no part among you; to be the Lord's priests is their heritage; and Gad and Reuben and the half-tribe of Manasseh have had their heritage on the east side of Jordan, given to them by Moses, the servant of the Lord.
8 Entonces los hombres se levantaron y se fueron; y Josué dio órdenes a los que fueron, para hacer un registro de la tierra, diciendo: “vayan y recorran la tierra, haz un registro de ella y regresa aquí conmigo, y haré la distribución para ti, aquí por la decisión del Señor en Silo.
So the men got up and went; and Joshua gave orders to those who went, to make a record of the land, saying, Go up and down through the land, and make a record of it and come back here to me, and I will make the distribution for you here by the decision of the Lord in Shiloh.
9 Entonces los hombres fueron, recorrieron la tierra y registraron las ciudades en siete partes en un libro, y regresaron con Josué al círculo de la tienda de campaña en Silo.
So the men went, travelling through the land, and made a record of it by towns in seven parts in a book, and came back to Joshua to the tent-circle at Shiloh.
10 Y Josué hizo la distribución para ellos en Silo por la decisión del Señor, marcando la tierra para los hijos de Israel por sus divisiones.
And Joshua made the distribution for them in Shiloh by the decision of the Lord, marking out the land for the children of Israel by their divisions.
11 Y la primera herencia salió para la tribu de Benjamín por sus familias. Él límite de su herencia fue entre los hijos de Judá y los hijos de José.
And the first heritage came out for the tribe of Benjamin by their families: and the limit of their heritage went between the children of Judah and the children of Joseph.
12 Y su límite en el norte era desde el Jordán, y la línea sube hasta el lado de Jericó en el norte y a través de la región montañosa hacia el oeste, que termina en las tierras baldías de Bet-aven.
And their limit on the north was from the Jordan, and the line goes up to the side of Jericho on the north and through the hill-country to the west, ending at the waste land of Beth-aven.
13 Y desde allí, la línea va hacia el sur hasta Luz, hacia el lado de Luz (que es Bet-el), luego hacia Atarot-adar, por la montaña al sur de Beth-horon, la más baja.
And from there the line goes south to Luz, to the side of Luz (which is Beth-el), then down to Ataroth-addar, by the mountain to the south of Beth-horon the lower.
14 Y el límite está marcado como que viene hacia el sur en el lado oeste desde la montaña que está al sur de Bet-horon, y termina en Quiriat-baal (que es Quiriat-jearim), una ciudad de los hijos de Judá. esta es la parte oeste.
And the limit is marked as coming round to the south on the west side from the mountain which is south of Beth-horon, and ending at Kiriath-baal (which is Kiriath-jearim), a town of the children of Judah: this is the west part.
15 Y la parte sur es desde el punto más lejano de Quiriat-jearim, y la línea se dirige hacia el oeste al manantial de Neftoa.
And the south part is from the farthest point of Kiriath-jearim, and the line goes out to the west to the fountain of the waters of Nephtoah:
16 Y la línea baja hasta la parte más alejada de la montaña, frente al valle del hijo de Hinom, que se encuentra al norte del valle de Refaim, de allí baja al valle de Hinom, al lado de Jebus en el sur hasta En-rogel;
And the line goes down to the farthest part of the mountain facing the valley of the son of Hinnom, which is on the north of the valley of Rephaim: from there it goes down to the valley of Hinnom, to the side of the Jebusite on the south as far as En-rogel;
17 Luego se volvía hacia él norte y salía a En- Semes y luego a Gelilot, enfrente del camino hasta Adumim, y baja a la piedra de Bohán, el hijo de Ruben;
And it goes to En-shemesh and on to Geliloth, opposite the way up to Adummim, and it goes down to the stone of Bohan, the son of Reuben;
18 Y va hacia el lado que mira a la Arabá al norte, y baja a la Araba;
And it goes on to the side facing the Arabah to the north, and down to the Arabah;
19 Y al lado norte de Bet-hogla, que termina en la entrada norte del Mar Salado en el extremo sur del Río Jordán; Este es su límite en el sur.
And on to the north side of Beth-hoglah, ending at the north inlet of the Salt Sea at the south end of Jordan; this is their limit on the south.
20 Y el límite de la parte este es el Jordán. Esta es la herencia de los hijos de Benjamín, marcada para sus familias por estos límites por todos lados.
And the limit of the east part is the Jordan. This is the heritage of the children of Benjamin, marked out for their families by these limits on all sides.
21 Y los pueblos de los hijos de Benjamín, dados a ellos por orden de sus familias, son Jericó, Bet-hogla y Emec-casis.
And the towns of the children of Benjamin, given to them in the order of their families, are Jericho and Beth-hoglah and Emek-kezziz
22 Beth-araba, Zemaraim y Bet-el,
And Beth-arabah and Zemaraim and Beth-el
23 Avim, Para y Ofra,
And Avvim and Parah and Ophrah
24 Quefar-Haamoni, Ofni y Geba; Doce pueblos con sus aldeas;
And Chephar-Ammoni and Ophni and Geba; twelve towns with their unwalled places;
25 Gabaón, Ramá, Beerot,
Gibeon and Ramah and Beeroth
26 Mizpa y Cafira y Mozah,
And Mizpeh and Chephirah and Mozah
27 Requem, Irpeel y Tarala,
And Rekem and Irpeel and Taralah
28 Zela, Elef y Jebús (que es Jerusalén), Gabaa y Quiriat; Catorce pueblos con sus aldeas. Esta es la herencia de los hijos de Benjamín por sus familias.
And Zela, Eleph and the Jebusite (which is Jerusalem), Gibeath and Kiriath; fourteen towns with their unwalled places. This is the heritage of the children of Benjamin by their families.
