Josué 15
1 Ahora, la parte de la tierra marcada para los hijos de Judá por las familias, subía hasta el borde de Edom, hasta el desierto de Zin, al sur, hasta el punto más lejano, al sur.
So then the boundary of the tribe of the sons of Judah, by their families, —reached unto the boundary of Edom, the desert of Zin southward, on the extreme south;
2 Su límite sur era desde la parte más lejana del Mar Salado, desde el extremo mirando hacia el sur:
so their south boundary beginneth at the end of the Salt Sea, —from the bay that turneth to the south;
3 Desde allí va al sur de la pendiente hasta Acrabim, y luego a Zin, luego al sur después de Cades-barnea, y luego por Hezron y hasta Adar, girando en dirección a Carca.
and goeth forth on the south of the cliffs of Akrabbim, and crosseth over to Zin, and goeth up on the south of Kadesh-barnea, —and passeth over by Hezron, and goeth up to Addar, and turneth round to Karka;
4 Luego a Azmon, que termina en la corriente de Egipto: y el final del límite está en el mar; Este será tu límite en el sur.
and passeth over to Azmon, and goeth forth at the ravine of Egypt, and so the extensions of the boundary are to the sea. This, shall be your south boundary.
5 Y el límite este es el Mar Salado hasta el final de Jordania. Y el límite de la parte norte de la tierra es desde la entrada del mar al final de Jordania:
And, a boundary eastward, is the Salt Sea, as far as the end of the Jordan. And, the boundary on the north side, is from the bay of the sea, from the end of the Jordan.
6 Luego la línea sube hasta Bet-hogla, pasa el norte de Bet-arabá, y sube hasta la piedra de Bohán, el hijo de Reuben;
And the boundary goeth up Beth-hoglah, and passeth over, on the north, by Beth-arabah, —and the boundary goeth up by the Stone of Bohan, son of Reuben;
7 Luego la línea sube a Debir desde el valle de Acor, y por lo tanto hacia el norte, en dirección a Gilgal, que está enfrente de la pendiente hasta Adumim, en el lado sur del río, y la línea continúa a las aguas de En-semes, que terminan en En-rogel:
and the boundary goeth up towards Debir, out of the vale of Achor, then northward, turning unto Gilgal, which is over against the ascent of Adummim, which is on the south side of the ravine, —then the boundary passeth over unto the waters of En-shemesh, and so the extensions thereof are unto En-rogel:
8 Luego la línea sube por el valle del hijo de Hinom nhacia el lado sur del Jebús (que es Jerusalén) luego hasta la cima de la montaña frente al valle de Hinnom al oeste, que es en el punto más lejano del valle de Refaim en el norte.
then ascendeth the boundary by the valley of the son of Hinnom, to the side of the Jebusite, on the south, the same, is Jerusalem, —and the boundary goeth up unto the top of the mountain which faceth the valley of Hinnom, to the west, which is at the end of the Vale of Giants, northwards;
9 Y el límite está marcado desde la cima de la montaña hasta la fuente de las aguas de Neftoa, y hacia las ciudades del Monte Ephron, hasta Baalah (que es Quiriat-jearim)
and the boundary turneth round, from the top of the mountain, unto the fountain of the waters of Nephtoah, and goeth out unto the cities of Mount Ephron, —then the boundary turneth round to Baalah, the same, is Kiriath-jearim;
10 Luego, girando hacia el oeste, la línea va desde Baalah hasta el Monte Seir, y continúa hasta el lado del Monte Jearim (que es Quesalon) en el norte, luego baja a Bet-semes y pasa Timna.
then the boundary goeth round from Baalah westward, unto Mount Seir, and passeth over unto the slope of Mount Yearim, on the north, the same, is Chesalon, —and descendeth Bethshemesh, and passeth over Timnah;
11 Y hacia el lado de Ecrón al norte, luego se marca hacia Sicron, y luego hacia el monte Baala, que termina en Jabneel; El final de la línea está en el mar.
then the boundary goeth forth unto the side of Ekron, northward, then the boundary turneth round towards Shikkeron, and crosseth over Mount Baalah, and goeth out at Jabneel, —and the extensions of the boundary are to the sea.
12 Y el límite al oeste es el borde del Gran Mar. Esta es la línea que recorre la tierra marcada para los hijos de Judá, por sus familias.
And, as a west boundary, are the great sea and coast. This, is the boundary of the sons of Judah, round about, by their families.
13 Y a Caleb, hijo de Jefone, entregó una parte de entre los hijos de Judá, tal como el Señor le había dado órdenes a Josué, es decir, Quiriat-arba, llamada así por Arba, el padre de Anac, que es Hebrón.
And, to Caleb, son of Jephunneh, gave he a portion, in the midst of the sons of Judah, at the bidding of Yahweh, by Joshua, —even the City of Arba, father of Anak, the same, is Hebron.
14 Y los tres hijos de Anac, Sesai, Ahimán y Talmai, los hijos de Anac, fueron expulsados de allí por Caleb.
And Caleb dispossessed from thence, the three sons of Anak, —Sheshai, and Ahiman, and Talmai, the descendants of Anak.
15 Desde allí se enfrentó a la gente de Debir: (ahora el nombre de Debir era Quiriat-sefer).
And he went up from thence, against the inhabitants of Debir, —now, the name of Debir, formerly, was Kiriath-sepher.
16 Y Caleb dijo: Daré a Acsa, mi hija, como esposa al hombre que vence a Quiriat-sefer y la conquiste.
Then said Caleb, He that smiteth Kiriath-sepher, and captureth it, I will give unto him Achsah, my daughter, to wife.
17 Otoniel, el hijo de Cenaz, el hermano de Caleb, la conquistó: y le dio a su hija Acsa por su esposa.
And Othniel son of Kenaz, brother of Caleb, captured it, —so he gave unto him Achsah, his daughter, to wife.
18 Cuando ella se acercó a él, él le hizo pensar en la idea de pedirle a su padre un campo: y ella se bajó de su asno; y Caleb le dijo: ¿Qué deseas?
And it came to pass, when she came, that she moved him to ask of her father a field, and, when she alighted from off the ass, Caleb said unto her—What aileth thee?
19 Y ella dijo: Dame una bendición; Porque me has puesto en tierra seca del sur, ahora dame manantiales de agua. Así que él le dio los manantiales de arriba y los manantiales de abajo.
And she said—Give me a present, for, dry land, hast thou given me, therefore must thou give me, pools of water. So he gave her upper pools and lower pools.
20 Esta es la herencia de la tribu de Judá, por sus familias.
This, is the inheritance of the tribe of the sons of Judah, by their families.
21 Los pueblos más lejanos de la tribu de Judá en dirección a los límites de Edom, al sur, fueron Cabseel, Edar y Jagur;
And the uttermost cities of the tribe of the sons of Judah, towards the boundary of Edom in the south, were, —Kabzeel and Eder, and Jagur,
22 Cina, Dimona, Adada;
and Kinah and Dimonah, and Adadah, —
23 Cedes, Hazor, Itnan;
and Kedesh and Hazor, and Ithnan,
24 Zif, Telem, y Bealot;
Ziph and Talem, and Bealoth,
25 Hazor-hadata, Queriot, hezron (que es Hazor);
and Hazor-hadattah and Kerioth-hezron, the same, is Hazor;
26 Amam, Sean, Molada;
Amam and Shema, and Moladah,
27 Hazar-gada, Hesmon, Bet-pelet;
and Hazar-gaddah and Heshmon, and Beth-pelet.
28 Hazar-sual, Beer-seba, Bizotia;
and Hazarshual and Beer-sheba, with the hamlets thereof,
29 Baalah, Iim, Esem;
Baalah and Iyyim, and Ezem,
30 Eltolad, Quesil, y Horma;
and Eltolad and Chesil, and Hormah,
31 Siclag, Madmana, Sansana;
and Ziklag and Madmannah, and Sansannah,
32 Lebaot, Silhim, En-Rimon; Todos los pueblos son veintinueve, con sus aldeas.
and Lebaoth and Shilhim, and En-rimmon, —all the cities are twenty-nine, with their villages.
33 En las tierras bajas, Estaol, Zora y Asena;
In the lowland, —Eshtaol and Zorah, and Ashnah,
34 Zanoa, En-ganim, Tapua, Enam;
and Zanoah and En-gannim, Tappuah, and Enam;
35 Jarmut, y Adulam, Soco y Azeca;
Jarmuth, and Adullam, Socoh, and Azekah;
36 Saaraim, Aditaim, Gedera, y Gederotaim; Catorce pueblos con sus aldeas.
and Shaaraim, and Adithaim, and Gederah, and Gederothaim, —fourteen cities, with their villages.
37 Zenan, Haadasa, Migdal-gad;
Zenan and Hadashah, and Migdal-gad,
38 Dilean, Mizpa, Jocteel;
and Dilan and Mizpeh, and Joktheel,
39 Laquis, Boscat, Eglon;
Lachish and Bozkath, and Eglon,
40 Cabon, Lahmam, Quitlis;
and Cabbon and Lahmas, and Chithlish,
41 Gederot, Bet-dagon, Naama, Maceda; Dieciséis pueblos con sus aldeas.
and Gederoth, Beth-dagon and Naamah, and Makkedah, —sixteen cities, with their villages.
42 Libna, Éter, Asan;
Libnah and Ether, and Ashan,
43 Jifta, Asena, Nezib;
and Iphtah and Ashnah, and Nezib,
44 Keila, Aczib, y Maresa; Nueve poblados con sus aldeas.
and Keilah and Achzib, and Mareshah, —nine cities, with their villages.
45 Ecrón, con sus pueblos y aldeas;
Ekron with her towns, and her villages.
46 De Ecrón al mar, todos los pueblos al lado de Asdod, con sus lugares sus aldeas.
From Ekron, even unto the sea, —all that were by the side of Ashdod with their villages.
47 Asdod, con sus pueblos y aldeas; Gaza, con sus pueblos y aldeas, a la corriente de Egipto, con el Gran Mar como límite.
Ashdod, her towns and her villages. Gaza, her towns and her villages, as far as the ravine of Egypt, —and the great sea and coast.
48 Y en la región montañosa, Samir, Jatir y Soco;
And in the hill-country, —Shamir and Jattir, and Socoh,
49 Dana, Quiriat-Sana (que es Debir);
and Dannah and Kiriath-sannah, the same, is Debir,
50 Anab, y Estemoa, y Anim;
and Anab and Eshtemoh, and Anim,
51 Gosen, Holon, Gilo; Once ciudades con sus aldeas.
and Goshen and Holon, and Giloh, —eleven cities, with their villages.
52 Árabe, y Duma, Esan;
Arab and Rumah and Eshan,
53 Janum, y Bet-tapua, Afeca;
and Janim and Beth-tappuah and Aphekah,
54 Humta, Quiriat-arba (que es Hebrón), y Sior; Nueve poblados con sus aldeas.
and Humtah, and Kiriath-arba, the same, is Hebron, and Zior, —nine cities, with their villages.
55 Maon, Carmel, Zif, Juta;
Maon, Carmel, and Ziph and Jutah,
56 Jezreel, Jocdeam, Zanoa;
and Jezreel and Jokdeam, and Zanoah,
57 Cain, Gabaa y Timna; Diez pueblos con sus aldeas.
Kain, Gibeah and Timnah, —ten cities, with their villages.
58 Halhul, Bet-sur y Gedor;
Halhul, Beth-zur, and Gedor,
59 Maarat, y Beth-anot, y Eltecon; Seis pueblos con sus aldeas.
and Maarath and Beth-anoth, and Eltekon, —six cities, with their villages.
60 Quiriat-baal (que es Quiriat-jearim), y Raba; Dos pueblos con sus aldeas.
Kiriath-baal, the same, is Kiriath-jearim, and Rabbah, —two cities, with their villages.
61 En el desierto, Bet-araba, Midin y Secaca;
In the desert, —Beth-arabah, Middin, and Secacah,
62 Nibsan, y el pueblo de la Sal, y En-gadi; Seis pueblos con sus aldeas.
and Nibshan and the City of Salt, and En-gedi, —six cities, with their villages.
63 Y en cuanto a los jebuseos que viven en Jerusalén, los hijos de Judá no pudieron hacerlos salir; pero los jebuseos viven con los hijos de Judá en Jerusalén hasta el día de hoy.
But, as for the Jebusites, the inhabitants of Jerusalem, the sons of Judah could not dispossess them, —so the Jebusites have dwelt with the sons of Judah, in Jerusalem, until this day.
