Juan 15

1 Yo soy la vid verdadera y mi Padre es el jardinero.

I Am that true vine, and my Father is that husband man.

2 El quita de mí todo aquel que no tiene fruto, y todo aquel que tiene fruto, lo limpia para que tenga más fruto.

Euery branch that beareth not fruite in me, he taketh away: and euery one that beareth fruite, he purgeth it, that it may bring forth more fruite.

3 Ustedes ya están limpios, incluso ahora, a través de la enseñanza que les he dado.

Nowe are ye cleane through the worde, which I haue spoken vnto you.

4 permanezcan en mí en todo momento como yo en ustedes. Como la rama no puede da fruto por sí misma, porque no está unida a la vid, tampoco podrán hacerlo si no están en mí.

Abide in me, and I in you: as the branche cannot beare fruite of it selfe, except it abide in the vine, no more can ye, except ye abide in me.

5 Yo soy la vid, ustedes los pámpanos; el que en mí está en todo tiempo, como yo estoy en él, dará mucho fruto, porque sin mí no pueden hacer nada.

I am that vine: ye are the branches: he that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruite: for without me can ye doe nothing.

6 Si un hombre no permanece en mí, será echado fuera y es cortado como una rama seca; tales ramas son tomadas y se queman en el fuego.

If a man abide not in me, he is cast forth as a branche, and withereth: and men gather them, and cast them into the fire, and they burne.

7 Si ustedes permanecen en mí todo el tiempo, y mis palabras están en ustedes, entonces cualquier cosa que pidan lo que quieran se les dará a ustedes.

If ye abide in me, and my wordes abide in you, aske what ye wil, and it shalbe done to you.

8 Así es glorificado mi Padre, en que ustedes dan mucho fruto y también son mis verdaderos discípulos.

Herein is my Father glorified, that ye beare much fruite, and be made my disciples.

9 Así como el Padre me ha dado su amor, así les he dado todo mi amor: permanezcan en mi amor.

As the father hath loued me, so haue I loued you: continue in that my loue.

10 Si guardan mis mandamientos, siempre permanecerán en mi amor, así como yo he guardado los mandamientos de mi Padre, y siempre permanezco en su amor.

If ye shall keepe my commandements, ye shall abide in my loue, as I haue kept my Fathers commandements, and abide in his loue.

11 Les he dicho estas cosas para que se alegren conmigo y compartan mi gozo en ustedes y para que su alegría sea completa.

These things haue I spoken vnto you, that my ioy might remaine in you, and that your ioy might be full.

12 Este es el mandamiento que les doy: ámense unos a otros, así como yo les amo.

This is my commandement, that ye loue one another, as I haue loued you.

13 Nadie tiene mayor prueba de amor, que el hombre entregue su vida por sus amigos.

Greater loue then this hath no man, when any man bestoweth his life for his friendes.

14 Ustedes son mis amigos, si hacen lo que yo les mando.

Ye are my friendes, if ye doe whatsoeuer I commaund you.

15 Ya no les doy el nombre de siervos; porque un siervo no sabe lo que hace su amo: les doy el nombre de amigos, porque les he dado ha conocer de todas las cosas que mi Padre me ha dicho.

Henceforth call I you not seruants: for the seruant knoweth not what his master doeth: but I haue called you friends: for all things that I haue heard of my Father, haue I made knowen to you.

16 No me escogieron ustedes, pero yo los escogí a ustedes; y les di el trabajo de ir y producir fruto y que ese fruto permanezca para siempre; de modo que cualquier cosa que pidan al Padre en mi nombre puede dárselas.

Ye haue not chosen me, but I haue chosen you, and ordeined you, that ye goe and bring foorth fruite, and that your fruite remaine, that whatsoeuer ye shall aske of the Father in my Name, he may giue it you.

17 Así que este es mi mandamiento que se amen unos a otros.

These things commaund I you, that ye loue one another.

18 Si eres odiado por el mundo, recuerda que fui odiado primero.

If the worlde hate you, ye knowe that it hated me before you.

19 Si fueran del mundo, serían amados por el mundo; pero como no son del mundo, porque ya no son del mundo, son odiados por el mundo.

If ye were of the worlde, the world woulde loue his owne: but because ye are not of ye world, but I haue chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you.

20 Tengan en cuenta las palabras que les dije, un siervo no es más grande que su señor. Si a mi me han perseguido, también a ustedes los perseguirán; si mantienen mi palabra guardarán la de ustedes también.

Remember the word that I said vnto you, The seruant is not greater then his master. If they haue persecuted me, they will persecute you also: if they haue kept my worde, they will also keepe yours.

21 Todo esto les harán por causa de mi nombre, porque no conocen al que me envió.

But all these things will they doe vnto you for my Names sake, because they haue not knowen him that sent me.

22 Si no hubiera venido y no hubiera sido su maestro, no tendrían pecado; pero ahora no tienen motivo por su pecado.

If I had not come and spoken vnto them, they shoulde not haue had sinne: but nowe haue they no cloke for their sinne.

23 El que me aborrece odia a mi Padre.

He that hateth me, hateth my Father also.

24 Si no hubiera hecho entre ellos las obras que ningún otro hombre había hecho alguna vez, no tendrían pecado; pero ahora han visto, y han tenido odio en sus corazones por mí y mi Padre.

If I had not done workes among them which none other man did, they had not had sinne: but nowe haue they both seene, and haue hated both me, and my Father.

25 Esto sucede para que la escritura en su ley se haga realidad, Su odio por mí fue sin causa.

But it is that the worde might be fulfilled, that is written in their Lawe, They hated me without a cause.

26 Cuando venga el Ayudador, a quien les enviaré de parte del Padre, el Espíritu del conocimiento verdadero que viene del Padre, él dará testimonio acerca de mí;

But when that Comforter shall come, whom I will send vnto you from the Father, euen the Spirit of trueth, which proceedeth of the Father, he shall testifie of me.

27 Y ustedes, además, darán testimonio porque han estado conmigo desde el principio.

And ye shall witnesse also, because ye haue bene with me from the beginning.
