Juan 1
1 Desde el principio él era la Palabra, y la Palabra estaba con Dios y era Dios.
B'resheet ·In the beginning of the beginning· was ha D'var ·the Word·, and ha D'var ·the Word· was with God, and ha D'var ·the Word· was God.
2 Esta Palabra estaba desde el principio con Dios.
The same was in the beginning with God.
3 Todas las cosas llegaron a existir a través de él, y sin él nada era.
All things came to be through him and without him nothing made had being.
4 Lo que comenzó a existir en él fue la vida, y la vida fue la luz de los hombres.
In him was life, and the life was the light of men.
5 Y la luz sigue brillando en la oscuridad y no es vencida por la oscuridad.
The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.
6 Hubo un hombre enviado por Dios, cuyo nombre era Juan.
There came a man, sent from God, whose name was John [Yah is gracious].
7 Él vino para dar testimonio, para dar testimonio acerca de la luz, para que todos los hombres tuvieran fe a través de él.
The same came as a witness, that he might testify about the light, that all might trust through him.
8 Él mismo no era la luz: fue enviado a dar testimonio de la luz.
He was not the light, but was sent that he might testify about the light.
9 La verdadera luz, que ilumina a cada hombre, estaba entrando en el mundo.
The true light that enlightens everyone was coming into the world.
10 Él estaba en el mundo, el mundo que surgió a través de él, pero el mundo no tenía conocimiento de él.
He was in the world, and the world was made through him, and the world didn’t recognize him.
11 Llegó a las cosas que eran suyas y su gente no lo recibió.
He came to his own, and those who were his own didn’t receive him.
12 Sin embargo, a todos los que lo recibieron, se les dio el derecho de convertirse en hijos de Dios, es decir, a los que tenían fe en su nombre:
But as many as received him, to them he gave the right to become God’s children, to those who trust in his name:
13 Cuyo nacimiento era de Dios y no de sangre, o de un impulso de la carne y el deseo del hombre.
who were born not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.
14 Y el Verbo se hizo carne y tomó un lugar entre nosotros por un tiempo; y vimos su gloria, la gloria que él Padre le dio a su único hijo, lleno de gracia y verdad.
Ha D'var ·The Word· became flesh, and tabernacled among us. We saw his shekhinah ·manifest weighty glory and presence of God·, such shekhinah ·manifest weighty glory and presence of God· as of the one and only Son of the Abba ·Father·, full of grace and truth.
15 Juan dio testimonio acerca de él, y exclamó: Este es aquel de quien dije: “El que viene detrás de mí me ha sido puesto porque él existía antes que yo”.
John [Yah is gracious] testified about him. He cried out, saying, “This was he of whom I said, ‘He who comes after me has surpassed me, for he was before me.’”
16 De su plenitud todos hemos recibido gracia sobre gracia.
From his fullness we all received grace upon grace.
17 Porque la ley fue dada por medio de Moisés; la gracia y el verdadero modo de vida son nuestros a través de Jesucristo.
For the Torah ·Teaching· was given through Moses [Drawn out]; grace and truth came through Yeshua Messiah [Salvation Anointed one].
18 Ningún hombre ha visto a Dios en ningún momento; el único Hijo, que está en íntima relación con el Padre, ha dejado en claro qué es Dios.
No one has seen God at any time. The one and only Son, who is in the bosom of Abba ·Father familiar, Dear Dad·, he has declared him.
19 Y este es el testimonio de Juan cuando los judíos enviaron sacerdotes y levitas de Jerusalén a él con la pregunta: ¿Quién eres tú?
This is John [Yah is gracious]’s testimony, when the Jews sent priests and Levites [Descendants of United with] from Jerusalem [City of peace] to ask him, “Who are you?”
20 Dijo abiertamente y sin rodeos, yo no soy el Cristo.
He declared, and didn’t deny, but he declared, “I am not the Messiah [Anointed one].”
21 Y ellos le dijeron: ¿Qué, pues? ¿Eres Elías? Y él dijo: no. ¿Eres el profeta? Y su respuesta fue, no.
They asked him, “What then? Are you Elijah [My God Yah]?” He said, “I am not.” “Are you the prophet (promised Messiah)?” He answered, “No.”
22 Entonces ellos le dijeron: ¿Quién eres entonces? Tenemos que dar alguna respuesta a quienes nos enviaron. ¿Qué tienes que decir sobre ti?
They said therefore to him, “Who are you? Give us an answer to take back to those who sent us. What do you say about yourself?”
23 Él dijo: Yo soy la voz del que clama en el desierto, enderecen el camino del Señor, como dijo el profeta Isaías.
He said, “I am the voice of one crying in the wilderness, ‘Make straight the way of MarYah [Master Yahweh],’ as Isaiah [Salvation of Yah] the prophet said.”
24 Los que habían sido enviados venían de los fariseos.
The ones who had been sent were from the Pharisees [Separated].
25 Y le hicieron esta pregunta, diciendo: ¿Por qué, pues, estás dando el bautismo si no eres el Cristo, o Elías, o el profeta?
They asked him, “Why then do you mikvah ·baptise·, if you are not the Messiah [Anointed one], nor Elijah [My God Yah], nor the prophet (promised Messiah)?”
26 La respuesta de Juan fue: doy el bautismo con agua; pero hay uno entre ustedes de quien no tienen conocimiento;
John [Yah is gracious] answered them, “I mikvah ·baptise· in water, but among you stands one whom you don’t know.
27 Es él quien viene detrás de mí; No soy digno para desatar la correa de sus sandalias.
He is the one who comes after me, who is preferred before me, whose sandal strap I’m not worthy to loosen.”
28 Estas cosas tuvieron lugar en Betania, al otro lado del Jordán, donde Juan estaba dando el bautismo.
These things were done in Bethany [House of affliction] beyond the Jordan [Descender], where John [Yah is gracious] was baptizing.
29 Al día siguiente, Juan ve a Jesús acercarse a él y le dice: “Mira, aquí está el Cordero de Dios que quita el pecado del mundo”.
The next day, he saw Yeshua [Salvation] coming to him, and said, “Behold, the Lamb of God, who takes away the abstract sin ·miss the mark· of the world!
30 Este es aquel de quien dije: Uno viene detrás de mí, quién es puesto sobre mí porque él existía antes que yo.
This is he of whom I said, ‘After me comes a man who is preferred before me, for he was before me.’
31 Yo mismo no tenía conocimiento de él, pero vine bautizando con agua para que Israel lo viera abiertamente.
I didn’t know him, but for this reason I came baptizing in water: that he would be revealed to Israel [God prevails].”
32 Juan dio este testimonio, diciendo: Vi al Espíritu que descendía del cielo como una paloma y descansaba sobre él.
John [Yah is gracious] testified, saying, “I have seen haRuach [the Spirit, Breath] descending like a dove out of heaven, and it remained on him.
33 No sabía quién era, pero el que me envió a bautizar con agua me dijo: Aquel sobre quien veas descender y descansar al Espíritu, es él quien da el bautismo con el Espíritu Santo.
I didn’t recognize him, but he who sent me to mikvah ·baptise· in water, he said to me, ‘On whomever you will see haRuach [the Spirit, Breath] descending, and remaining on him, the same is he who does mikvah ·baptise· in Ruach haKodesh [Spirit, Breath of the Holiness].’
34 Yo mismo lo he visto y mi testimonio es que él es el Hijo de Dios.
I have seen, and have testified that this is the Ben-Elohim ·Son of Elohim God·.”
35 El día después, Juan estaba allí otra vez con dos de sus discípulos;
Again, the next day, John [Yah is gracious] was standing with two of his disciples,
36 Y mirando a Jesús mientras caminaba, dijo: ¡Mira, ahí está el Cordero de Dios!
and he looked at Yeshua [Salvation] as he walked, and said, “Behold, the Lamb of God!”
37 Al escuchar lo que dijo, los dos discípulos fueron tras Jesús.
The two disciples heard him speak, and they followed Yeshua [Salvation].
38 Y Jesús, volviéndose, los vio venir detrás de él y les dijo: ¿Qué estás buscando? Le dijeron a él, Rabino (que es decir, Maestro), ¿dónde estás viviendo?
Yeshua [Salvation] turned, and saw them following, and said to them, “What are you looking for?” They said to him, “Rabbi!” (Which is to say, being interpreted, ·Teacher·). “Where are you staying?”
39 Él les dijo: Ven a ver. Entonces fueron con él y vieron dónde vivía; y estuvieron con él todo ese día: era alrededor de la décima hora del día.
He said to them, “Come, and see.” They came and saw where he was staying, and they stayed with him that day. It was about four o'clock in the afternoon.
40 Andrés, el hermano de Simón Pedro, fue uno de los dos hombres que, al oír lo que Juan dijo, fue tras Jesús.
One of the two who heard John [Yah is gracious], and followed him, was Andrew [Manly], Simeon Peter [Hearing Rock]’s brother.
41 Temprano en la mañana se encontró con su hermano y le dijo: ¡Hemos hecho un descubrimiento! ¡Es el Mesías! (es decir, el Cristo).
He first found his own brother, Simeon [Hearing], and said to him, “We have found the Messiah [Anointed one]!” (which is, being interpreted, Moshiach ·Anointed one·).
42 Y lo llevó a Jesús. Mirándolo fijamente, Jesús dijo: Tú eres Simón, el hijo de Juan; su nombre será Cefas, (es decir, Pedro).
He brought him to Yeshua [Salvation]. Yeshua [Salvation] looked at him, and said, “You are Simeon [Hearing] the son of Jonah [Dove]. You shall be called Cephas” (which is by interpretation, Peter [Rock]).
43 El día después de esto, Jesús deseaba ir a Galilea. Se encontró con Felipe y le dijo: Ven y sé mi discípulo.
On the next day, he was determined to go out into Galilee [District, Circuit], and he found Philip [Loves horses]. Yeshua [Salvation] said to him, “Follow me.”
44 Ahora la ciudad de Felipe era Betsaida, de donde vinieron Andrés y Pedro.
Now Philip [Loves horses] was from Bethsaida, of the city of Andrew [Manly] and Peter [Rock].
45 Felipe se encontró con Natanael y le dijo: ¡Hemos hecho un descubrimiento! Es él de quien Moisés, en la ley y los profetas estaban escribiendo, Jesús de Nazaret, el hijo de José.
Philip [Loves horses] found Nathanael [Given by God], and said to him, “We have found the one that Moses [Drawn out] wrote about in the Torah ·Teaching·, and the Prophets— it is Yeshua [Salvation] son of Joseph [May he add] from Nazareth [Branch, Separated one].”
46 ¡Nazaret! dijo Natanael: ¿es posible que algo bueno salga de Nazaret? Felipe le dijo: Ven a ver.
Nathanael [Given by God] said to him, “Can any good thing come out of Nazareth [Branch, Separated one]?” Philip [Loves horses] said to him, “Come and see.”
47 Jesús vio a Natanael acercándose a él y le dijo: Mira, aquí hay un verdadero hijo de Israel en quien no hay nada falso.
Yeshua [Salvation] saw Nathanael [Given by God] coming to him, and said about him, “Behold, an Israelite [Descendant of God prevails] indeed, in whom is no deceit!”
48 Natanael le dijo: ¿De dónde me conoces? En respuesta, Jesús dijo: Antes de que Felipe hablara contigo, mientras aún estabas debajo de la higuera, te vi.
Nathanael [Given by God] said to him, “How do you know me?” Yeshua [Salvation] answered him, “Before Philip [Loves horses] called you, when you were under the fig tree, I saw you.”
49 Natanael le dijo: Rabí, tú eres el Hijo de Dios, tú eres el Rey de Israel.
Nathanael [Given by God] answered him, “Rabbi ·Teacher·, you are the Ben-Elohim ·Son of Elohim God·! You are Melek Isra'el [King of God prevails]!”
50 En respuesta, Jesús le dijo: Tú tienes fe porque yo te dije, te vi debajo de la higuera. Verás cosas más grandiosas que estas.
Yeshua [Salvation] answered him, “Because I told you, ‘I saw you underneath the fig tree,’ do you trust? You will see greater things than these!”
51 Y él le dijo: De cierto les digo que verán el cielo abierto y los ángeles de Dios que suben y bajan sobre el Hijo del Hombre.
He said to him, “Most certainly, I tell you, hereafter you will see heaven opened, and the angels of God ascending and descending on the Son of Man.”
