Job 37
1 A esto me tiembla el corazón; se mueve fuera de su lugar.
At this also my heart trembleth, and is moved out of its place.
2 Escucha el ruido de su voz; al sonido hueco que sale de su boca.
Hearken ye unto the noise of his voice, and the sound that goeth out of his mouth.
3 Él lo envía a través de todo el cielo, y su trueno llama hasta los confines de la tierra.
He sendeth it forth under the whole heaven, and his lightning unto the ends of the earth.
4 Después de esto suena una voz que truena la palabra de su poder; no retiene sus truenos; de su boca suena la voz.
After it a voice roareth; he thundereth with the voice of his majesty: and he stayeth them not when his voice is heard.
5 Él hace maravillas, más de lo que se puede comprender; grandes cosas de las cuales no tenemos conocimiento;
God thundereth marvelously with his voice; great things doeth he, which we cannot comprehend.
6 Porque dice a la nieve: Moja la tierra; Y a la tormenta de lluvia, baja.
For he saith to the snow, Fall thou on the earth; likewise to the shower of rain, and to the showers of his mighty rain.
7 Él pone fin a la obra de cada hombre, para que todos puedan ver su obra.
He sealeth up the hand of every man; that all men whom he hath made may know [it].
8 Entonces las bestias se meten en sus agujeros, y descansan.
Then the beasts go into coverts, and remain in their dens.
9 Del sur sale el viento de tormenta y el frío del norte.
Out of the chamber [of the south] cometh the storm: and cold out of the north.
10 Por el aliento de Dios se hace hielo, y las anchas aguas se congelan.
By the breath of God ice is given: and the breadth of the waters is straitened.
11 La nube espesa está cargada con una llama de trueno, y la nube emite su luz;
Yea, he ladeth the thick cloud with moisture; he spreadeth abroad the cloud of his lightning:
12 Y va por este camino, dando la vuelta, girándose por su guía, para hacer lo que él ordene que se haga, en la superficie del mundo, la tierra de los hombres,
And it is turned round about by his guidance, that they may do whatsoever he commandeth them upon the face of the habitable world.
13 Por corrección, o por su tierra, o por misericordia, las hará venir.
Whether it be for correction, or for his land, or for mercy, that he cause it to come.
14 Escucha esto, oh Job, y guarda silencio en tu lugar; y toma nota de las maravillas hechas por Dios.
Hearken unto this, O Job: stand still, and consider the wondrous works of God.
15 ¿Tienes conocimiento del orden de Dios de sus obras, cómo hace que se vea la luz de su nube?
Dost thou know how God layeth [his charge] upon them, and causeth the lightning of his cloud to shine?
16 ¿Tienes conocimiento como flotan las nubes, las maravillas de aquel que es perfecto en sabiduría?
Dost thou know the balancings of the clouds, the wondrous works of him which is perfect in knowledge?
17 Tú, cuya ropa es cálida, cuando la tierra está tranquila debido al viento del sur,
How thy garments are warm, when the earth is still by reason of the south [wind]?
18 ¿Harás, con él, los cielos suaves y fuertes como un espejo pulido?
Canst thou with him spread out the sky, which is strong as a molten mirror?
19 Dejame claro lo que debemos decirle; No podemos poner nuestra causa ante él, debido a la oscuridad.
Teach us what we shall say unto him; [for] we cannot order [our speech] by reason of darkness.
20 ¿Cómo puede él conocer mi deseo de hablar con él? ¿O algún hombre dijo alguna vez: ¿Puede la destrucción venir a mí?
Shall it be told him that I would speak? or should a man wish that he were swallowed up?
21 Y ahora no se ve la luz, porque es oscura a causa de las nubes; Pero viene un viento que las aleja.
And now men see not the light which is bright in the skies: but the wind passeth, and cleanseth them.
22 Una luz brillante sale del norte; La gloria de Dios es grandemente temible.
Out of the north cometh golden splendour: God hath upon him terrible majesty.
23 No alcanzaremos al Todopoderoso; su fuerza y su juicio son grandes; Él está lleno de justicia, no haciendo nada malo.
[Touching] the Almighty, we can not find him out; he is excellent in power: and in judgment and plenteous justice he will not afflict.
24 Por esta causa los hombres van por temor a él; no tiene respeto por los sabios de corazón.
Men do therefore fear him: he regardeth not any that are wise of heart.
