Job 34
1 Y respondiendo Eliu, dijo:
And Helyu pronounside, and spak also these thingis,
2 Escucha, sabio, mis palabras; y tú que tienes conocimiento, presta atención a mí;
Wise men, here ye my wordis, and lerned men, herkne ye me; for the eere preueth wordis,
3 Porque las palabras son probadas por el oído, como el alimento es probado por la boca.
and the throte demeth metis bi taast.
4 Tomemos la decisión por nosotros mismos en cuanto a lo que es correcto; Decidamos entre nosotros de lo que es bueno.
Chese we doom to vs; and se we among vs, what is the betere.
5 Porque Job ha dicho: Soy recto, y es Dios quien me ha quitado mi derecho;
For Job seide, Y am iust, and God hath distried my doom.
6 Aunque estoy en lo cierto, todavía tengo dolor; Mi herida no sana, aunque no he hecho nada malo.
For whi lesynge is in demynge me, and myn arowe is violent with out ony synne.
7 Qué hombre es como Job, que bebe el escarnio como agua.
Who is a man, as Joob is, that drynkith scornyng as watir?
8 ¿Y va en compañía de los malhechores, caminando en el camino de los pecadores?
that goith with men worchynge wickidnesse, and goith with vnfeithful men?
9 Porque él dijo: No le sirve a un hombre deleitarse en Dios.
For he seide, A man schal not plese God, yhe, thouy he renneth with God.
10 Ahora bien, sabio, toma nota; Hombres de conocimiento, escúchame. Que esté lejos de Dios hacer el mal, y él Todopoderoso injusticia.
Therfor ye men hertid, `that is, vndurstonde, here ye me; vnpite, `ethir cruelte, be fer fro God, and wickidnesse fro Almyyti God.
11 Porque le da a cada hombre la recompensa de su trabajo, y ve que obtenga el fruto de sus caminos.
For he schal yelde the werk of man to hym; and bi the weies of ech man he schal restore to hym.
12 En verdad, Dios no hace el mal, y el Todopoderoso no es un juez falso.
For verili God schal not condempne with out cause; nether Almyyti God schal distrie doom.
13 ¿Quién puso la tierra bajo su cuidado, o lo hizo responsable por el mundo?
What othere man hath he ordeyned on the lond? ether whom hath he set on the world, which he made?
14 Si hiciera que su espíritu volviera a él, volviendo a respirar dentro de sí mismo,
If God dressith his herte to hym, he schal drawe to hym silf his spirit and blast.
15 Toda la carne llegaría a su fin juntos, y el hombre volvería al polvo.
Ech fleisch schal faile togidere; `and a man schal turne ayen in to aisch.
16 Si eres sabio, toma nota de esto; Escucha la voz de mis palabras.
Therfor if thou hast vndurstondyng, here thou that that is seid, and herkne the vois of my speche.
17 ¿Cómo puede un enemigo de lo justo ser un gobernante? ¿Y dirás que el Todopoderoso y justo es malo?
Whether he that loueth not doom may be maad hool? and hou condempnest thou so myche him, that is iust?
18 El que dice a un rey: Tú eres malvado; y a los gobernantes: pecadores;
Which seith to the kyng, Thou art apostata; which clepith the duykis vnpitouse, `ethir vnfeithful.
19 Quien no hace acepción de personas, y quien no presta más atención a los que tienen riqueza que a los pobres, porque todos son obra de sus manos.
`Which takith not the persoones of princes, nether knew a tyraunt, whanne he stryuede ayens a pore man; for alle men ben the werk of hise hondis.
20 De repente, se acaban, incluso en medio de la noche; la gente se conmueve, el golpe llega a los hombres ricos, y se van, y los fuertes son eliminados sin mano.
Thei schulen die sudeynli, and at mydnyyt puplis schulen be troblid, `ethir schulen be bowid, as othere bookis han; and schulen passe, and schulen take `awei `a violent man with out hond.
21 Porque sus ojos están sobre los caminos de un hombre, y él ve todos sus pasos.
For the iyen of God ben on the weies of men, and biholdith alle goyngis of hem.
22 No hay un lugar oscuro, ni una nube espesa, en la cual los trabajadores del mal puedan ponerse a cubierto.
No derknessis ben, and no schadewe of deeth is, that thei, that worchen wickidnesse, be hid there;
23 Porque no le da al hombre un tiempo fijo para que se presente ante él para ser juzgado.
for it is `no more in the power of man, that he come to God in to doom.
24 Envía a los fuertes a la destrucción sin buscar su causa, y pone a otros en su lugar.
God schal al to-breke many men and vnnoumbrable; and schal make othere men to stonde for hem.
25 Porque él tiene conocimiento de sus obras, las vuelca en la noche, para que sean quebrantados.
For he knowith the werkis of hem; therfor he schal brynge yn niyt, and thei schulen be al to-brokun.
26 Los malhechores se quebrantan con su ira, él pone su mano sobre ellos con fuerza ante los ojos de todos los espectadores.
He smoot hem, as vnpitouse men, in the place of seinge men.
27 Porque no fueron tras él, y no tomaron nota de sus caminos.
Whiche yeden awei fro hym bi `castyng afore, and nolden vndurstonde alle hise weies.
28 Causaron que el clamor de los pobres se llegará a él, y la oración de los necesitados llegue a sus oídos.
That thei schulden make the cry of a nedi man to come to hym, and that he schulde here the vois of pore men.
29 Si Dios calla, quien podrá condenarlo? Si Dios oculta su rostro, quién podrá verlo? Lo mismo, sobre una nación, o sobre un hombre.
For whanne he grauntith pees, who is that condempneth? Sithen he hidith his cheer, who is that seeth hym? And on folkis and on alle men `he hath power `to do siche thingis.
30 Para que no gobiernen hombres hipócritas y sean trampa para él pueblo.
Which makith `a man ypocrite to regne, for the synnes of the puple.
31 Ha dicho alguien a Dios; he llevado castigo, no ofenderé más.
Therfor for Y haue spoke to God, also Y schal not forbede thee.
32 Enséñame lo que yo no veo, si he obrado mal, no lo volveré hacer.
If Y erride, teche thou me; if Y spak wickidnesse, Y schal no more adde.
33 Ha de recompensar Él de acuerdo a tus condiciones? Porque te rehúsas? Ya que eres tu él que decide y no yo, dinos lo que sabes.
Whether God axith that wickidnesse of thee, for it displeside thee? For thou hast bigunne to speke, and not Y; that if thou knowist ony thing betere, speke thou.
34 Hombres de conocimiento, y todos los hombres sabios, escúchenme, dirán:
Men vndurstondynge, speke to me; and a wise man, here me.
35 Las palabras de Job no provienen del conocimiento; no son el fruto de la sabiduría.
Forsothe Joob spak folili, and hise wordis sownen not techyng.
36 Que Job sea probado hasta el final, porque sus respuestas han sido como las de los hombres malvados.
My fadir, be Joob preuede `til to the ende; ceesse thou not fro the man of wickidnesse,
37 Porque además de su pecado, él es rebelde; bate sus manos entre nosotros, aumentando sus palabras contra él.
`that addith blasfemye ouer hise synnes. Be he constreyned among vs in the meene tyme; and thanne bi hise wordis stire he God to the doom.
