Isaías 61
1 El espíritu del Señor Dios está sobre mí, porque me ha ungido él Señor, para dar buenas nuevas a los pobres; me ha enviado para vendar a los quebrantados de corazón, a anunciar que los prisioneros serán liberados, y que los encadenados volverán a ver la luz;
The Spirit of the Lord Jehovah is upon me, because Jehovah hath anointed me to announce glad tidings unto the meek; he hath sent me to bind up the broken-hearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and opening of the prison to them that are bound;
2 Para dar a conocer que el año de la buena voluntad del Señor ha llegado, y el día de venganza de nuestro Dios; para dar consuelo a todos los que están tristes;
to proclaim the acceptable year of Jehovah, and the day of vengeance of our God; to comfort all that mourn;
3 Para darles una corona en lugar de ceniza, el aceite de la alegría en lugar de la ropa de dolor, la alabanza en lugar de dolor; para que puedan ser nombrados árboles de justicia, la plantación del Señor, para que sea glorificado.
to appoint unto them that mourn in Zion, that beauty should be given unto them instead of ashes, the oil of joy instead of mourning, the garment of praise instead of the spirit of heaviness: that they might be called terebinths of righteousness, the planting of Jehovah, that he may be glorified.
4 Y volverán a construir los viejos muros rotos, y reabrirán los viejos lugares arruinados, y reedificarán los pueblos que han sido destruidos durante largas generaciones.
And they shall build the old wastes, they shall raise up the former desolations, and they shall repair the waste cities, the places desolate from generation to generation.
5 Y los hombres de países extranjeros serán sus pastores, sus hombres de labradores y cuidadores de vides.
And strangers shall stand and feed your flocks, and the sons of the alien shall be your ploughmen and your vinedressers.
6 Pero serán nombrados sacerdotes del Señor, siervos de nuestro Dios; tendrán las riquezas de las naciones para tu comida, y serán vestido con su gloria.
But as for you, ye shall be called priests of Jehovah; it shall be said of you: Ministers of our God. Ye shall eat the wealth of the nations, and into their glory shall ye enter.
7 Como tenían el doble de dolor, en vez de humillación, darán gritos de júbilo por su herencia, en su tierra serán recompensados dos veces, y tendrán gozo eterno.
Instead of your shame [ye shall have] double; instead of confusion they shall celebrate with joy their portion: therefore in their land they shall possess the double; everlasting joy shall be unto them.
8 Porque yo, el Señor, me complace juzgar con rectitud; odio la rapiña en él holocausto; y ciertamente les daré su recompensa, y haré un acuerdo eterno con ellos.
For I, Jehovah, love judgment, I hate robbery with wrong; and I will give their recompence in truth, and I will make an everlasting covenant with them.
9 Y su simiente será notada entre las naciones, y su descendencia entre los pueblos; será claro para todos los que los ven que son la simiente a la cual el Señor ha dado su bendición.
And their seed shall be known among the nations, and their offspring among the peoples: all that see them shall acknowledge them, that they are a seed that Jehovah hath blessed.
10 Estaré lleno de alegría en el Señor, mi alma se alegrará en mi Dios; porque él me puso la vestimenta de la salvación, cubriéndome con el manto de la justicia, como él novio se pone adornos sacerdotales, y la novia se hace bella con joyas.
I will greatly rejoice in Jehovah, my soul shall be joyful in my God; for he hath clothed me with the garments of salvation, he hath covered me with the robe of righteousness, as a bridegroom decketh himself with the priestly turban, and as a bride adorneth herself with her jewels.
11 Porque a medida que la tierra produce brotes y el jardín da crecimiento a las semillas que se plantan en él, así el Señor hará que broten justicia y alabanza en todas las naciones.
For as the earth bringeth forth her bud, and as a garden causeth the things that are sown in it to spring forth, so the Lord Jehovah will cause righteousness and praise to spring forth before all the nations.
