Isaías 60

1 Levántate! resplandezca tu rostro, porque ha venido tu luz, y la gloria del Señor ha amanecido sobre ti.

Arise, shine! for thy light is come, and the glory of Jehovah is risen upon thee.

2 Porque verdaderamente, la tierra será oscura, y los pueblos serán velados en la noche más negra; pero el Señor resplandecerá sobre ti, y su gloria se verá entre ustedes.

For behold, darkness shall cover the earth, and gross darkness the peoples; but Jehovah will arise upon thee, and his glory shall be seen on thee.

3 Y las naciones vendrán a tu luz, y los reyes a tu brillante aurora.

And the nations shall walk by thy light, and kings by the brightness of thy rising.

4 Levanten sus ojos y vean, todos se acercan a ustedes; sus hijos vendrán de lejos, y sus hijas serán tomadas con amoroso cuidado.

Lift up thine eyes round about, and see: all they gather themselves together, they come to thee: thy sons come from afar, and thy daughters are carried upon the side.

5 Entonces verás, y resplandecerás de alegría, y tu corazón se estremecerá con deleite; porque el producto del mar lo traerán a ti, la riqueza de las naciones vendrá a ti.

Then thou shalt see, and shalt be brightened, and thy heart shall throb, and be enlarged; for the abundance of the sea shall be turned unto thee, the wealth of the nations shall come unto thee.

6 Multitud de caravanas de camellos te cubrirán, incluso los camellos jóvenes de Madián y de Efa; vendrán todos de Saba, con oro y especias, dando la palabra de los grandes hechos del Señor.

A multitude of camels shall cover thee, young camels of Midian and Ephah; all they from Sheba shall come: they shall bring gold and incense; and they shall publish the praises of Jehovah.

7 Todos los rebaños de Cedar se unirán a ustedes, las ovejas de Nebaiot estarán listas para su necesidad; serán agradables ofrendas en mi altar, y mi casa de oración será hermosa.

All the flocks of Kedar shall be gathered unto thee, the rams of Nebaioth shall serve thee: they shall come up with acceptance on mine altar, and I will beautify the house of my magnificence.

8 ¿Quiénes son estos que vienen como una nube, como un vuelo de palomas a sus palomares?

Who are these that come flying as a cloud, and as doves to their dove-cotes?

9 Me esperan los buques en las costas, y las naves de Tarsis, para que vengan de lejos tus hijos, y su plata y oro con ellos, al lugar del nombre del Señor tu Dios, Santo de Israel, porque te ha glorificado.

For the isles shall await me, and the ships of Tarshish first, to bring thy sons from afar, their silver and their gold with them, unto the name of Jehovah thy God, and to the Holy One of Israel, for he hath glorified thee.

10 Y hombres de países extraños edificarán tus muros, y sus reyes serán tus siervos; porque en mi ira envié un castigo contra ti, pero en mi gracia he tenido misericordia de ti.

And the sons of the alien shall build up thy walls, and their kings shall minister unto thee. For in my wrath I smote thee, but in my favour have I had mercy on thee.

11 Tus puertas estarán abiertas todo el tiempo; no cerrarán ni de día ni de noche; para que los hombres puedan entrar en ti con la riqueza de las naciones, con sus reyes a la cabeza.

And thy gates shall stand open continually: (they shall not be shut day nor night, ) that the wealth of the nations may be brought unto thee, and that their kings may be led [to thee].

12 Porque la nación o reino que no sea tu siervo será destruido; Tales naciones serán completamente destruidas.

For the nation and the kingdom that will not serve thee shall perish; and those nations shall be utterly wasted.

13 La gloria del Líbano vendrá a ti, el ciprés, pinos, el abeto juntos, para hacer hermoso mi lugar santo; y el lugar de descanso de mis pies estará lleno de gloria.

The glory of Lebanon shall come unto thee, the cypress, pine, and box-tree together, to beautify the place of my sanctuary; and I will make the place of my feet glorious.

14 Y los hijos de los que fueron crueles contigo vendrán delante de ti con la cabeza inclinada; y los que se burlaban caerán sobre sus rostros a tus pies; y serás nombrado, El Pueblo del Señor, La Sión del Santo de Israel.

And the children of them that afflicted thee shall come bending unto thee; and all they that despised thee shall bow themselves down at the soles of thy feet; and they shall call thee The city of Jehovah, the Zion of the Holy One of Israel.

15 Y aunque fuiste rechazada, odiada y no tuviste ayuda, te haré un orgullo para siempre, una alegría de generación en generación.

Instead of thy being forsaken and hated, so that no one went through [thee], I will make thee an eternal excellency, a joy from generation to generation.

16 Y tomarás la leche de las naciones, que brotará del pecho de los reyes; y verás que yo, el Señor, soy tu salvador, tu libertador, el Fuerte de Jacob.

And thou shalt suck the milk of the nations, and shalt suck the breast of kings; and thou shalt know that I, Jehovah, [am] thy Saviour and thy Redeemer, the Mighty One of Jacob.

17 En lugar de bronce, daré oro; y plata en vez de hierro; en vez de madera; , bronce; en vez de piedras, hierro; y haré de tus administradores la paz, y tus gobernantes la justicia.

For bronze I will bring gold, and for iron I will bring silver, and for wood bronze, and for stones iron; and I will make thine officers peace, and thy rulers righteousness.

18 Los actos violentos ya no se verán en tu tierra, desolación o destrucción en tus limites; más tus muros serán nombrados, Salvación, y tus puertas Alabanza.

Violence shall no more be heard in thy land, wasting nor destruction within thy borders; but thou shalt call thy walls Salvation, and thy gates Praise.

19 El sol no será tu luz durante el día, y la luna ya no será brillante para ti durante la noche; pero el Señor será para ti una luz eterna, y tu Dios será tu gloria.

The sun shall be no more thy light by day, neither for brightness shall the moon give light unto thee; but Jehovah shall be thine everlasting light, and thy God thy glory.

20 Tu sol nunca volverá a bajar, o tu luna retendrá su luz; porque el Señor será tu luz eterna, y los días de tu dolor terminarán.

Thy sun shall no more go down, neither shall thy moon withdraw itself; for Jehovah shall be thine everlasting light, and the days of thy mourning shall be ended.

21 Tu pueblo será recto, la tierra será su herencia para siempre; La rama de mi plantación, el trabajo de mis manos, para glorificarme.

Thy people also shall be all righteous: they shall possess the land for ever — the branch of my planting, the work of my hands, that I may be glorified.

22 El más pequeño de sus familias se convertirá en mil, y el pequeño en una nación fuerte: Yo, el Señor, lo haré llegar rápidamente en su tiempo.

The little one shall become a thousand, and the smallest a mighty nation: I, Jehovah, will hasten it in its time.
