Isaías 56

1 El Señor dice: Deja que tu estilo de vida sea recto, y que tu comportamiento sea ordenado correctamente; porque mi salvación está cerca, y mi justicia será rápidamente vista.

Thus saith Jehovah: Keep ye justice, and practise righteousness; For the coming of my salvation is near, And my deliverance is soon to be revealed.

2 Feliz es el hombre que hace esto, y el hijo del hombre cuyo comportamiento es tan ordenado; que guarda el sábado santo, y su mano de hacer cualquier mal.

Happy the man that doeth this, And the son of man that holdeth it fast; That keepeth the sabbath, and profaneth it not, And restraineth his hand from doing evil.

3 Y no permita que el hombre de un país extranjero, que se ha unido al Señor, diga: “El Señor ciertamente me separara de su pueblo; ni él hombre eunuco diga: Mira, yo soy árbol seco.

And let not the stranger that joineth himself to Jehovah say, Jehovah hath wholly separated me from his people. And let not the eunuch say, Behold, I am a dry tree!

4 Porque el Señor dice: En cuanto al eunuco si guardan mis sábados, y dan su corazón para complacerme, y mantienen su acuerdo conmigo:

For thus saith Jehovah concerning the eunuchs: They that keep my sabbaths, And take pleasure in doing my will, And hold fast my covenant,

5 Les daré en mi casa, y dentro de mis muros, un lugar y un nombre mejor que el de hijos e hijas; Les daré un nombre eterno que no será borrado.

To them will I give in my house, and within my walls, a portion and a name, Better than of sons and daughters; An everlasting name will I give them, That shall never fade away.

6 Y en cuanto a aquellos de un país extranjero, que están unidos al Señor, para adorar y honrar su nombre, para ser sus siervos, incluso todos los que santifican el sábado y mantienen su acuerdo conmigo.

The strangers, also, that join themselves to Jehovah, to serve him, To love the name of Jehovah, and to be his servants. Every one that keepeth the sabbath, and profaneth it not, And holdeth fast my covenant,

7 Los haré venir a mi santo monte, y les daré gozo en mi casa de oración; las ofrendas quemadas que hacen en mi altar serán aceptadas; porque mi casa será nombrada casa de oración para todos los pueblos.

Them will I bring to my holy mountain, And I will make them rejoice in my house of prayer; Their burnt-offerings and sacrifices shall be accepted on mine altar; For my house shall be called a house of prayer for all nations.

8 El Señor Dios, que reúne a los errantes de Israel, dice: Reuniré a otros además de los de Israel que han regresado.

Thus saith the Lord Jehovah, That gathereth the outcasts of Israel; Yet will I gather others to him, Besides those that are already gathered.

9 Todas las bestias del campo, únanse para comer, incluso todas las bestias del bosque.

Come, all ye beasts of the field, Yea, all ye beasts of the forest, to devour!

10 Sus vigilantes son ciegos, todos están sin conocimiento; todos son perros sin lengua, incapaces de hacer ruido; echados soñando, amando el sueño.

His watchmen are all blind; they know nothing; They are all dumb dogs, that cannot bark, Dreaming, lying down, loving to slumber;

11 Y los perros, son voraces e insaciables; mientras que estos, los guardianes de las ovejas, carecen de sabiduría; todos han ido en pos de su placer, todos buscando ganancias; Son todos iguales.

Yet are they greedy dogs that cannot be satisfied; The shepherds themselves will not attend; They all turn aside to their own way, Every one of them to their own gain.

12 Vengan, dicen. Tomaré vino, y tomaremos una bebida fuerte en toda la medida; Y mañana será como hoy, lleno de placer.

“Come on, let me bring wine, And let us fill ourselves with strong drink, And to-morrow shall be as to-day, And even much more abundant.”
