Isaías 54

1 Que tu voz sea fuerte en la canción, oh mujer sin hijos; haz melodía y sonidos de alegría, tú que no has dado a luz; porque los hijos de ella que no tuvo marido son más que los de la esposa casada, dice el Señor.

Shout in triumph, O barren one, Who hadst not borne, —Break forth into shouts of triumph—and trill thy voice, Who hadst not travailed in birth, For, more, are the children of the Desolate Than the children of Her who had the husband, Saith Yahweh.

2 Amplía el lugar de tu tienda, y extiende las cortinas de tu casa sin límites; haz que tus cuerdas se alarguen y tus estacas de tienda sean fuertes.

Enlarge the space of thy tent And the curtains of thy habitations, let them spread forth do not spare, —Lengthen thy cords, And thy tent-pins, make thou fast;

3 Porque ampliaré tus límites en la mano derecha y en la izquierda; y tu simiente tomará a las naciones como herencia, y hará que los pueblos llenos de gente sean desiertos.

For, on the right hand and on the left, shalt thou break forth, —And thy seed, shall of the nations, take possession, And forsaken cities, shall they cause to be inhabited.

4 No tengas miedo; porque no quedarás humillada ni te quedarás sin esperanza; no te avergüences, porque la vergüenza de tu juventud se te borrará de la memoria y ya no tendrás en cuenta las tristezas de tus años viudos.

Do not fear for thou shalt not turn pale, Neither feel disgraced for thou shalt not be put to the blush, —For, the shame of thy youth, shalt thou forget, And the reproach of thy widowhood, shalt thou remember no more;

5 Porque tu Creador es tu marido; el señor de los ejércitos es su nombre, y el Santo de Israel es tu libertador; Será nombrado el Dios de toda la tierra.

For, thy husband, is, thy Maker, Yahweh of hosts, is his Name, —And, thy redeemer, the Holy One of Israel, The God of all the earth, shall he be called.

6 Porque el Señor te ha hecho volver a él, como una esposa joven que ha sido expulsada y afligida de espíritu; como esposa joven que ha sido repudiada, pero tu Dios te ha vuelto a llamar y te dice.

For, like a wife forsaken and grieved in spirit, hath Yahweh called thee, —Even the wife of youthful days, in that thou wast rejected saith thy God.

7 Por un corto tiempo te abandoné; Pero con gran misericordia te volveré a unir conmigo.

For a small moment, I forsook thee, —But, with abounding compassions, do I embrace thee:

8 En ira desbordante, mi rostro estuvo oculto de ti por un momento, pero te tendré compasión para siempre, dice el Señor tu redentor.

In an overflow of vexation, I hid my face for a moment, from thee, But, with lovingkindness age-abiding, have I had compassion on thee, —saith thy Redeemer Yahweh.

9 Porque esto es como los días de Noé para mí, porque como hice un juramento de que las aguas de Noé nunca volverían a pasar sobre la tierra; también he jurado que no volveré a enojarme contigo, ni te reprenderé.

For, the waters of Noah, is this unto me, —As to which I sware that the waters of Noah should not again pass over the earth, So have I sworn Not to be vexed with thee Nor to rebuke thee.

10 Porque las montañas pueden ser quitadas, y las colinas pueden ser removidas de sus lugares, pero mi amor no te será quitado, o mi acuerdo de paz se romperá, dice el Señor, quien ha tenido misericordia de ti.

For, the mountains, may move away, And the hills, may be shaken, —But, my lovingkindness, from thee, shall not move away, And, my covenant of peace, shall not be shaken, saith he who hath compassion upon thee—Yahweh.

11 ¡Oh, desdichada, azotada por la tormenta, sin consuelo! Mira, tus piedras estarán enmarcadas en colores claros y tus bases serán zafiros.

O thou humbled one storm-tossed, uncomforted, —Lo! I, am about to set in antimony, thy stones, And will found thee in sapphires;

12 Haré tus torres de rubíes y tus puertas de carbuncos, y la pared que te rodea será de todo tipo de piedras preciosas.

And make rubies, thy battlements, And thy gates, sparkling stones, —And, all thy boundaries, stones of delight;

13 Y todos tus constructores serán hechos sabios por el Señor; y grande será la paz de tus hijos.

And, all thy children, shall be the instructed of Yahweh, —And, great, shall be the prosperity of thy children.

14 Todos tus derechos te serán asegurados; no tengas miedo del mal, y la destrucción no se acercará a ti.

In righteousness, shalt thou be established, —Be thou far from oppression—But indeed thou shalt not fear, And from crushing calamity—But indeed it shall not come nigh unto thee.

15 Mira, pueden ser movidos a la guerra, pero no por mi autoridad; todos los que se unan para atacarte, serán quebrantados contra ti.

Lo! they would, quarrel, with thee—not at all from me, —Whoso hath quarrelled with thee, over thee, shall fall.

16 Mira, he hecho al herrero, soplando las brasas y haciendo el instrumento de guerra por su trabajo; Y he creado al destructor para la destrucción.

Lo! I, have created the smith, who bloweth up a fire of coals, And who bringeth forth an instrument for his work, —And, I, have created the waster to destroy:

17 Ningún instrumento de guerra que se forme contra ti será de ninguna utilidad; y toda lengua que dice mal contra ti, será juzgada como falsa. Esta es la herencia de los siervos del Señor, y su justicia viene de mí, dice el Señor.

No instrument formed against thee, shall prosper, And every tongue that riseth against thee in judgment, shalt thou prove to be lawless, —This is the inheritance of the servants of Yahweh. And, their righteousness, is from me, Declareth Yahweh.
