Isaías 52

1 ¡Despierta! ¡despierta! pon tu fuerza, oh Sion; ponte tus hermosas túnicas, oh Jerusalén, la ciudad santa; porque desde ahora nunca volverán a entrar en ti los inmundos y los que no tienen circuncisión.

Awake, awake, put on thy strength, O Zion; put on thy beautiful garments, O Jerusalem, thou holy city; for no more shall enter into thee henceforth the uncircumcised and the unclean.

2 Lávate del polvo; ¡arriba! y toma el asiento de tu poder, oh Jerusalén, libérate del yugo de tu cuello, oh prisionera hija de Sión.

Shake thyself free from the dust, arise, sit down, O Jerusalem: loosen thyself from the bands of thy neck, O captive, daughter of Zion.

3 Porque el Señor dice: en balde fueron vendidos, y sin dinero serán redimidos.

For thus hath said the Lord, For naught were you sold, and without silver shall ye be redeemed.

4 Porque el Señor Dios dice: Mi pueblo bajó primero a Egipto para buscar allí un lugar para ellos; y el asirio les echó un yugo cruel sin causa.

For thus hath said the Lord Eternal, Into Egypt went my people down aforetimes, to sojourn there, and Asshur hath oppressed it without cause.

5 Ahora bien, ¿qué tengo aquí? dice el Señor, porque mi pueblo es quitado sin causa; quienes los dominan los hacen gritar de tristeza, dice el Señor, y todo el día continuamente blasfeman mi nombre.

And now what have I here, saith the Lord, since my people hath been taken away for naught? its rulers vaunt aloud, saith the Lord, and continually, all the day, is my name blasphemed.

6 Por esta causa dejaré claro mi nombre a mi pueblo; en ese día estarán seguros de que es mi palabra la que viene a ellos; Mira, aquí estoy.

Therefore shall my people know my name, therefore on that day, that I am he that speaketh it: here am I.

7 ¡Qué hermosos son en los montes los pies de aquel que viene con buenas nuevas, que da la palabra de paz, diciendo que la salvación está cerca; Quién le dice a Sion, tu Dios está gobernando!

How beautiful are upon the mountains the feet of the messenger of good tidings, that publisheth peace, that announceth tidings of happiness, that publisheth salvation, that saith unto Zion, Thy God reigneth.

8 ¡La voz de tus vigilantes! sus voces son fuertes en la canción juntos; porque lo verán ojo a ojo cuando el Señor regrese a Sión.

The voice of thy watchmen, —they raise their voice, together shall they shout; for eye to eye shall they see, when the Lord returneth unto Zion.

9 Da sonidos de alegría, haz melodía juntos, lugares desolados de Jerusalén: porque el Señor ha dado consuelo a su pueblo, ha redimido a Jerusalén.

Break forth [in song], shout together, ye ruins of Jerusalem; the Lord hath comforted his people, he hath redeemed Jerusalem.

10 El Señor ha dejado que su santo brazo sea visto por los ojos de todas las naciones; y todos los confines de la tierra verán la salvación de nuestro Dios.

The Lord hath made bare his holy arm before the eyes of all the nations; and all the ends of the earth shall see the salvation of our God.

11 ¡Fuera! ¡lejos! sal de allí, sin tocar nada inmundo; salid de entre ella; Sé limpio, tú que tomas los vasos del Señor.

Depart ye, depart ye, go out from there, touch no unclean thing; go ye out from the midst of it; cleanse yourselves, ye bearers of the vessels of the Lord.

12 Porque no saldrás de repente, y no irás en vuelo; porque el Señor irá delante de ti, y el Dios de Israel será su retaguardia.

Not in haste shall ye go out, and not in flight shall ye go; for before you goeth the Lord, and your rereward is the God of Israel.

13 Mira, mi siervo hará bien en sus tareas, será honrado y levantado, y será puesto muy alto.

Behold, my servant shall be prosperous, he shall be exalted and extolled, and be placed very high.

14 Como los pueblos se sorprendían de él, y su rostro no era hermoso, como para ser deseado; su rostro estaba tan cambiado, su hermosura que era diferente al de un hombre, y su forma ya no era la de los hijos de hombres.

Just as many were astonished at thee, so greatly was his countenance marred more than any [other] man's, and his form more than [that of] the sons of men, —

15 Así él rociará a muchas naciones; los reyes se callarán ante Él; porque lo que no se les había explicado, lo verán; y entenderán lo que jamas oyeron.

Thus will he cause many nations to jump up in [astonishment]; at him will kings shut their mouth; for what had not been told unto them shall they see, and what they had never heard shall they understand.
