Isaías 45
1 El Señor le dice al hombre de su ungido, a Ciro, a quien he tomado por la mano derecha, sometiendo a las naciones delante de él, y desarmando a los reyes; haciendo que las puertas se abran delante de él, para que los caminos de los pueblos no puedan cerrarse;
Thus sayeth the Lord vnto Cyrus his anointed, whose right hand I haue holden to subdue nations before him: therefore will I weaken the loynes of Kings and open the doores before him, and the gates shall not be shut:
2 Iré delante de ti y nivelaré los lugares difíciles; las puertas de bronce se romperán y las barras de hierro serán despedazadas.
I will goe before thee and make the crooked streight: I will breake the brasen doores, and burst the yron barres.
3 Y te daré los almacenes de la oscuridad y la riqueza de los lugares secretos, para que puedas estar seguro de que yo soy el Señor, quien te dio tu nombre, el Dios de Israel.
And I will giue thee the treasures of darkenesse, and the things hid in secret places, that thou maist know that I am the Lord which call thee by thy name, euen the God of Israel.
4 Debido a que mi siervo Jacob, e Israel a quien he tomado por mí, te he llamado por tu nombre, y te he dado un nombre de honor, aunque no me conocías.
For Iaakob my seruants sake, and Israel mine elect, I will euen call thee by thy name and name thee, though thou hast not knowen me.
5 Yo soy el Señor, y no hay otro; no hay Dios sino yo; te prepararé para la guerra, aunque no me hayas conocido.
I am the Lord and there is none other: there is no God besides me: I girded thee though thou hast not knowen me,
6 Para que vean desde el este donde sale el sol, y desde el oeste que no hay más dios que yo; Yo soy el Señor, y no hay otro.
That they may knowe from the rising of the sunne and from the West, that there is none besides me. I am the Lord, and there is none other.
7 Soy el dador de la luz y el que hace la oscuridad; causando bendiciones, y enviando problemas; Yo soy el Señor, que hace todas estas cosas.
I forme the light and create darkenes: I make peace and create euill: I the Lord doe all these things.
8 Dejen que descienda la justicia, oh cielos, y que el cielo la baje como lluvia; que la tierra esté abierta para dar el fruto de la salvación, haciendo que la justicia salga con ella; Yo, el Señor, he hecho que suceda.
Ye heauens, send the dewe from aboue, and let the cloudes droppe downe righteousnesse: let the earth open, and let saluation and iustice growe foorth: let it bring them foorth together: I the Lord haue created him.
9 ¡Ay! el que tiene una discusión con su Creador, la olla que tiene una discusión con él alfarero! ¿Le dirá el barro al que está trabajando con ella, qué estás haciendo, o tu obra; no tienes manos?
Woe be vnto him that striueth with his maker, the potsherd with the potsherds of the earth: shall the clay say to him that facioneth it, What makest thou? or thy worke, It hath none hands?
10 AY! el que dice a un padre: ¿A quien engendras? o a una mujer, ¿Porque diste a luz?
Woe vnto him that sayeth to his father, What hast thou begotten? or to his mother, What hast thou brought foorth?
11 El Señor, el Santo de Israel y su Hacedor, dice: ¿Me harás una pregunta acerca de las cosas que están por venir, o me darás órdenes sobre mis hijos y la obra de mis manos?
Thus saith the Lord, the holy one of Israel, and his maker, Aske me of things to come concerning my sonnes, and concerning the workes of mine hands: commande you me.
12 He hecho la tierra, formando al hombre sobre ella; por mis manos se han extendido los cielos, y todas las estrellas han sido colocadas en sus lugares ordenados.
I haue made the earth, and created man vpon it: I, whose hands haue spred out the heauens, I haue euen commanded all their armie.
13 Lo he enviado a vencer a las naciones, y haré rectos todos sus caminos; le daré el trabajo de construir mi ciudad, y él dejará que mis prisioneros salgan libres, sin precio ni recompensa, dice el Señor de los ejércitos.
I haue raised him vp in righteousnesse, and I will direct all his wayes: he shall build my citie, and he shall let goe my captiues, not for price nor rewarde, saith the Lord of hostes.
14 El Señor dice: Los obreros de Egipto, los mercaderes de Etiopía y los altos de Saba vendrán a ti sobre el mar, y serán tuyos; ellos irán tras de ti vendrán encadenados, y se arremeterán ante ti, y te harán oración, diciendo: Verdaderamente, Dios está entre ustedes; y no hay otro dios.
Thus sayth the Lord, The labour of Egypt, and the marchandise of Ethiopia, and of the Sabeans, men of stature shall come vnto thee, and they shall be thine: they shall follow thee, and shall goe in chaines: they shall fall downe before thee, and make supplication vnto thee, saying, Surely God is in thee, and there is none other God besides.
15 ¡En verdad, tu eres un Dios que se oculta, el Dios de Israel es un Salvador!
Verely thou, O God, hidest thy selfe, O God, the Sauiour of Israel.
16 Todos los que han ido contra él serán avergonzados; Los creadores de imágenes se harán más bajos.
All they shalbe ashamed and also confounded: they shall goe to confusion together, that are the makers of images.
17 Pero el Señor hará que Israel sea libre con una salvación eterna: no será avergonzado ni humillado por los siglos de los siglos.
But Israel shall be saued in the Lord, with an euerlasting saluation: ye shall not be ashamed nor confounded worlde without ende.
18 Porque esta es la palabra del Señor que hizo los cielos; él es Dios; el fabricante y diseñador de la tierra; quien no la hizo en vano, sino como un lugar de vida para el hombre; Yo soy el Señor, y no hay otro.
For thus saith the Lord (that created heauen, God himselfe, that formed the earth, and made it: he that prepared it, he created it not in vaine: he formed it to be inhabited) I am the Lord, and there is none other.
19 No he dado mi palabra en secreto, en un lugar en el inframundo; No en balde dije a la simiente de Jacob: Búscame: Yo, el Señor, digo lo que es verdad, mi palabra es justicia.
I haue not spoken in secrete, neither in a place of darkenes in the earth: I saide not in vaine vnto the seede of Iaakob, Seeke you me: I the Lord doe speake righteousnesse, and declare righteous things.
20 Reúnanse y vengan, naciones que aún viven: no tienen conocimiento que toman su imagen de la madera y rezan a un dios en el que no hay salvación.
Assemble your selues, and come: drawe neere together, ye abiect of the Gentiles: they haue no knowledge, that set vp the wood of their idole, and pray vnto a god, that cannot saue them.
21 Pronuncien la palabra, expongan su causa, discutamos juntos: ¿quién ha dado noticias de esto en el pasado? ¿Quién ha anunciado esto desde el principio del tiempo? no fui yo, el Señor? y no hay más Dios que Yo; un verdadero Dios y un salvador; no hay otro.
Tell ye and bring them, and let them take counsell together, who hath declared this from the beginning? or hath tolde it of olde? Haue not I the Lord? and there is none other God beside me, a iust God, and a Sauiour: there is none beside me.
22 Vuélvase tu corazón a mí, para que tengas la salvación, todos los confines de la tierra; porque yo soy Dios, y no hay otro.
Looke vnto me, and ye shall be saued: all the endes of the earth shall be saued: for I am God, and there is none other.
23 Por mí mismo he hecho un juramento, una palabra de justicia salió de mi boca y no se cambiará, ante mí toda rodilla se doblará y toda lengua jurará lealtad.
I haue sworne by my selfe: the worde is gone out of my mouth in righteousnesse, and shall not returne, That euery knee shall bowe vnto me, and euery tongue shall sweare by me.
24 Solo en el Señor, Hay justicia y fuerza: todos los que se enojaron con él serán avergonzados y destruidos.
Surely he shall say, In the Lord haue I righteousnesse and strength: he shall come vnto him, and all that prouoke him, shall be ashamed.
25 En el Señor, toda la simiente de Israel será justificada, y se gloriará.
The whole seede of Israel shall be iustified, and glorie in the Lord.
