Isaías 30

1 ¡Ay! de los hijos rebeldes, dice el Señor, que dan efecto a un propósito que no es mío, y que hacen un acuerdo, pero no por mi espíritu, aumentando su pecado.

Wo to the rebellious children, sayth the Lord, that take counsell, but not of me, and couer with a couering, but not by my spirit, that they may lay sinne vpon sinne:

2 Que hacen un movimiento para descender a Egipto, sin mi autoridad; que buscan la ayuda de Faraón y cuya esperanza está en la sombra de Egipto.

Which walke forth to goe downe into Egypt (and haue not asked at my mouth) to strengthen them selues with the strength of Pharaoh, and trust in the shadowe of Egypt.

3 Y la fortaleza de Faraón será tu vergüenza, y tu esperanza en la sombra de Egipto se convertirá tu confusión.

But the strength of Pharaoh shalbe your shame, and the trust in the shadow of Egypt your confusion.

4 Porque sus jefes están en Zoan, y sus representantes han venido a Hanes.

For his princes were at Zoan, and his Ambassadours came vnto Hanes.

5 Porque todos han venido con ofrendas a un pueblo que no les sirve, en el cual no hay ayuda ni provecho, sino sólo vergüenza y mala fama.

They shalbe all ashamed of the people that cannot profite them, nor helpe nor doe them good, but shalbe a shame and also a reproche.

6 La palabra acerca de las Bestias del Sur. A través de la tierra de la angustia y el dolor, la tierra de la leona y la voz del león, de la serpiente y la serpiente alada ardiente, llevan su riqueza en lomos de pollinos, y sus tiendas en camellos, a un pueblo que no les traerá provecho.

The burden of the beasts of the South, in a land of trouble and anguish, from whence shall come the yong and olde lyon, the viper and fierie flying serpent against them that shall beare their riches vpon the shoulders of the coltes, and their treasures vpon the bounches of the camels, to a people that cannot profite.

7 Porque no hay ningún uso o propósito en la ayuda de Egipto; así he dicho de ella: Ella es Rahab. Su fortaleza es estarse quieto.

For the Egyptians are vanitie, and they shall helpe in vaine. Therefore haue I cried vnto her, Their strength is to sit still.

8 Ahora, pónganlo por escrito en una tabla y anótenlo en un libro, para que sea para el futuro, un testigo para todos los tiempos por venir.

Now go, and write it before them in a table, and note it in a booke that it may be for the last day for euer and euer:

9 Porque son un pueblo descontrolado, de corazón falso, que no escucharán la enseñanza del Señor.

That it is a rebellious people, lying children, and children that would not heare the law of the Lord.

10 Que dicen a los videntes: No veas. Y a los profetas: No nos des palabra de lo que es verdad, sino que digan mentiras, palabras halagüeñas.

Which say vnto the Seers, See not: and to the Prophets, Prophecie not vnto vs right things: but speake flattering things vnto vs: prophecie errours.

11 Sal del camino bueno, desviándose del camino correcto; quita de nuestra presencia al Santo de Israel.

Depart out of the way: go aside out of the path: cause the holy one of Israel to cease from vs.

12 Por esta causa, el Santo de Israel dice: Porque no escucharon esta palabra, y buscan ayuda en el engaño y el mal, y están poniendo su esperanza en ellos.

Therefoe thus saith the holy one of Israel, Because you haue cast off this worde, and trust in violence, and wickednes, and stay thereupon,

13 Este pecado será para ustedes como una grieta en un muro alto, causando su caída repentina y en un minuto.

Therefore this iniquitie shalbe vnto you as a breach that falleth, or a swelling in an hie wall, whose breaking commeth suddenly in a moment.

14 Y dejará que se rompa, como se rompe la vasija de un alfarero; será destrozada sin piedad; para que no haya un poco en el que uno pueda servir para recoger fuego de la chimenea, o el agua de la primavera.

And the breaking thereof is like the breaking of a potters pot, which is broken without pitie, and in the breaking thereof is not found a sheard to take fire out of the hearth, or to take water out of the pit.

15 Porque el Señor, el Santo de Israel, dijo: En silencio y en reposo está tu salvación: la paz y la esperanza son tu fortaleza, pero ustedes no quisieron.

For thus sayd the Lord God, the Holy one of Israel, In rest and quietnes shall ye be saued: in quietnes and in confidence shall be your strength, but ye would not.

16 Diciendo: no, porque iremos en vuelo a caballo; así que ciertamente huirán; Y cabalgaremos sobre corceles que corren rápido; Así que los que te persigan serán rápidos.

For ye haue sayd, No, but we wil flee away vpon horses. Therefore shall ye flee. We will ride vpon the swiftest. Therefore shall your persecuters be swifter.

17 Mil irán atemorizados delante de uno; incluso ante la amenaza de cinco saldrán huyendo, hasta que seas como un mástil en la cima de una montaña, y como una bandera en una colina.

A thousand as one shall flee at the rebuke of one: at the rebuke of fiue shall ye flee, till ye be left as a ship maste vpon the top of a mountaine, and as a beaken vpon an hill.

18 Por esta causa el Señor estará esperando, para que él tenga compasión de ustedes; y él será exaltado, para que tenga misericordia de ustedes. Porque el Señor es un Dios de justicia. Bienaventurados todos los que esperan en él.

Yet therefore will the Lord waite, that he may haue mercy vpon you, and therefore wil he be exalted, that hee may haue compassion vpon you: for the Lord is the God of iudgement. Blessed are all they that waite for him.

19 Pueblo, viviendo en Sión, en Jerusalén, tu llanto terminará; Él ciertamente tendrá misericordia de ti al oír tu clamor; él oirá, él te dará una respuesta.

Surely a people shall dwell in Zion, and in Ierusalem: thou shalt weepe no more: he wil certainly haue mercy vpon thee at the voyce of thy crye: when he heareth thee, he wil answere thee.

20 Y aunque el Señor te dé el pan de la angustia y el agua de la aflicción, tu Maestro no se esconderá más, sino que verás a tu maestro.

And when the Lord hath giuen you the bread of aduersitie, and the water of affliction, thy raine shalbe no more kept backe, but thine eyes shall see thy raine.

21 Y en tu espalda, cuando giras hacia la mano derecha o hacia la izquierda, una voz sonará en tus oídos, diciendo: Esta es camino en que debes ir.

And thine eares shall heare a worde behind thee, saying, This is the way, walke ye in it, when thou turnest to the right hand, and when thou turnest to the left.

22 Y harás inmundo tus imágenes talladas, recubiertas de plata, y tus imágenes fundidas de oro, las arrojarás como una cosa impura, diciendo: ¡Fuera de aquí!

And ye shall pollute the couering of the images of siluer, and the riche ornament of thine images of golde, and cast them away as a menstruous cloth, and thou shalt say vnto it, Get thee hence.

23 Y el Señor te dará lluvia para tu semilla, para que la pongas en la tierra; y tendrás pan del producto de la tierra, bueno y más que suficiente para tus necesidades; en ese día el ganado conseguirá su alimento en pastizales anchos.

Then shall hee giue raine vnto thy seede, when thou shalt sowe the ground, and bread of the increase of the earth, and it shalbe fat and as oyle: in that day shall thy cattell be fed in large pastures.

24 Y los bueyes y los pollinos que se usan para arar, tendrán grano salado que se ha liberado de la basura con un tenedor y una cesta.

The oxen also and the yong asses, that till the ground, shall eate cleane prouender, which is winowed with the shoouel and with the fanne.

25 Y habrá ríos y arroyos de agua en cada montaña alta y en cada colina alta, en el día de la gran matanza, cuando caigan las grandes torres.

And vpon euery hie mountaine, and vpon euery hie hill shall there be riuers and streames of waters, in the day of the great slaughter, when the towers shall fall.

26 Y la luz de la luna será como la luz del sol, y la luz del sol será siete veces mayor, como la luz de los siete días, en el día en que el Señor venda las fracturas de Su pueblo, y sane las heridas que han sufrido.

Moreouer, the light of the moone shall be as the light of the sunne, and the light of the sunne shalbe seuen folde, and like the light of seuen dayes in the day that the Lord shall binde vp the breach of his people, and heale the stroke of their wound.

27 Mira, el nombre del Señor viene de lejos, ardiendo con su ira, como humo espeso subiendo. Sus labios están llenos de ira, y su lengua es como un fuego consumidor.

Beholde, the Name of the Lord commeth from farre, his face is burning, and the burden thereof is heauy: his lips are full of indignation, and his tongue is as a deuouring fire.

28 Y su aliento es como una corriente desbordante, que llega hasta el cuello, sacudiendo a las naciones para su destrucción, como el sacudimiento de un grano en una canasta, y él pondrá una cuerda en la boca de la gente, que los desvía de su camino.

And his spirit is as a riuer that ouerfloweth vp to the necke: it deuideth asunder, to fanne the nations with the fanne of vanitie, and there shall be a bridle to cause them to erre in the chawes of the people.

29 Tendrás una canción, como en la noche cuando se celebra una fiesta santa; y te alegrarás de corazón, como cuando suben con música de la flauta a la montaña del Señor, la Roca de Israel.

But there shall be a song vnto you as in the night, when solemne feast is kept: and gladnes of heart, as he that commeth with a pipe to goe vnto the mount of the Lord, to the mightie one of Israel.

30 Y el Señor enviará el sonido de su gran voz, y ellos verán su brazo extendido, con el calor de su ira, y la llama de un fuego ardiente; con una tempestad, y una tormenta, y granizo.

And the Lord shall cause his glorious voyce to be heard, and shall declare the lighting downe of his arme with the anger of his countenance, and flame of a deuouring fire, with scattering and tempest, and hailestones.

31 Porque por medio de la voz del Señor, el asirio será quebrantado, y la vara del Señor será levantada contra él.

For with the voyce of the Lord shall Asshur be destroyed, which smote with the rod.

32 Y cada golpe de la vara de su castigo, que el Señor le enviará, será al son de la música; y con el agitar de su espada, el Señor hará la guerra contra él.

And in euery place that ye staffe shall passe, it shall cleaue fast, which the Lord shall lay vpon him with tabrets and harpes: and with battels, and lifting vp of hands shall he fight against it.

33 Porque un lugar de fuego ha estado listo por mucho tiempo; Sí, se ha preparado para el rey; Lo ha hecho profundo y ancho: está formado por fuego y mucha madera; El soplo del Señor, como una corriente de azufre, lo encenderá.

For Tophet is prepared of olde: it is euen prepared for the King: hee hath made it deepe and large: the burning thereof is fire and much wood: the breath of the Lord, like a riuer of brimstone, doeth kindle it.
