Isaías 26
1 En ese día se hará esta canción en la tierra de Judá: Tenemos un pueblo fuerte; para protección, Dios puso muros y antemuros.
In that dai this song schal be sungun in the lond of Juda. The citee of oure strengthe; the sauyour schal be set ther ynne, the wal and the `fore wal.
2 Dejen que las puertas estén abiertas, para que la nación recta quede mantiene fiel pueda entrar.
Opene ye the yatis, and the iust folk schal entre, kepynge treuthe.
3 El hombre cuyo corazón es firme lo mantendrá en paz, porque su esperanza está en ti.
The elde errour is gon awei; thou schalt kepe pees, pees, for thou, Lord, we hopiden in thee.
4 Que tu esperanza esté siempre en el Señor; porque el Señor es una roca inmutable.
Ye han hopid in the Lord, in euerlastynge worldis, in the Lord God, strong with outen ende.
5 Porque ha abatido a los que son orgullosos, a toda la gente enaltecida de la ciudad; derribándola hasta el polvo.
For he schal bowe doun hem that dwellen an hiy, and he schal make low an hiy citee; he schal make it low `til to the erthe; he schal drawe it doun `til to the dust.
6 Serán pisoteados bajo los pies de los pobres y los pies de los necesitados.
The foot of a pore man schal defoule it, and the steppis of nedi men schulen defoule it.
7 El camino del hombre bueno es recto. El camino de los rectos se allana por ti.
The weie of a iust man is riytful, the path of a iust man is riytful to go.
8 Te hemos estado esperando, oh Señor; El deseo de nuestra alma es el recuerdo de tu nombre.
And in the weie of thi domes, Lord, we suffriden thee; thi name, and thi memorial is in desir of soule.
9 En la noche el deseo de mi alma ha sido para ti; temprano mi espíritu te estará buscando; porque cuando lleguen los castigos a la tierra, los pueblos del mundo obtendrán el conocimiento de la justicia.
My soule schal desire thee in the niyt, but also with my spirit in myn entrails; fro the morewtid Y schal wake to thee. Whanne thou schalt make thi domes in erthe, alle dwelleris of the world schulen lerne riytfulnesse.
10 Incluso si eres amable con el malvado, él no irá en pos de la justicia; aun en la tierra de los rectos, él continuará con su maldad, y no verá la gloria del Señor.
Do we merci to the wickid man, and he schal not lerne to do riytfulnesse; in the lond of seyntis he dide wickid thingis, and he schal not se the glorie of the Lord.
11 Señor, tu mano está levantada, pero no la ven; que vean y se avergonzarán los que envidian a tu pueblo; sí, tus enemigos serán quemados en el fuego.
Lord, thin hond be enhaunsid, that thei se not; puplis hauynge enuye se, and be schent, and fier deuoure thin enemyes.
12 Señor, nos darás paz; porque todas nuestras obras son el resultado de tu manos.
Lord, thou schalt yyue pees to vs, for thou hast wrouyt alle oure werkis in vs.
13 Oh Señor, nuestro Dios, otros señores fuera de ti nos han gobernado; pero en ti solo está nuestra salvación, y ningún otro nombre tomaremos en nuestros labios.
Oure Lord God, lordis hadden vs in possessioun, withouten thee; oneli in thee haue we mynde of thi name.
14 Los muertos no volverán a la vida; sus espíritus no volverán a la tierra; Por esta causa les enviaste destrucción, de modo que su memoria está muerta.
Thei that dien, lyue not, and giauntis risen not ayen. Therfor thou hast visityd, and hast al-to broke hem, and thou hast lost al the mynde of hem; and Lord, thou hast foryoue to a folc,
15 Has engrandecido a la nación, oh Señor, la has hecho grande; te has glorificado, has ensanchado los límites de la tierra.
thou hast foryoue to a folc. Whether thou art glorified? thou hast maad fer fro thee all the endis of erthe.
16 Señor, en problemas nuestros ojos se han vuelto hacia ti, enviamos una oración cuando tu castigo estaba sobre nosotros.
Lord, in angwisch thei souyten thee; in the tribulacioun of grutchyng thi doctryn to hem.
17 Como una mujer con un hijo, cuyo tiempo está cerca, está preocupada, gritando en su dolor; Así hemos estado delante de ti, Señor.
As sche that conseyuede, whanne sche neiyeth sorewful to the child beryng, crieth in her sorewis, so we ben maad, Lord, of thi face.
18 Hemos estado embarazada, hemos estado sufriendo, como si hubiéramos dado a luz viento; ninguna salvación ha llegado a la tierra a través de nosotros, y ningún niño ha venido al mundo.
We han conseyued, and we han as trauelid of child, and we han childid the spirit of helthe; we diden not riytfulnesse in erthe. Therfor the dwelleris of erthe fellen not doun; thi deed men schulen lyue,
19 Tus muertos volverán; Sus cuerpos muertos volverán a la vida. Los que están en el polvo, despiertos de su sueño, enviarán una canción; porque tu rocío es rocío de luz, y la tierra dará a luz a los muertos.
and my slayn men schulen rise ayen. Ye that dwellen in dust, awake, and herie; for whi the deew of liyt is thi deew, and thou schalt drawe doun the lond of giauntis in to fallyng.
20 Ve, pueblo mío, a tus habitaciones, y cierren sus puertas; mantente a salvo por un corto tiempo, hasta que su ira haya terminado.
Go thou, my puple, entre in to thi beddis, close thi doris on thee, be thou hid a litil at a moment, til indignacioun passe.
21 Porque el Señor está saliendo de su lugar para enviar castigos a las personas de la tierra por su maldad; la tierra dejará que la sangre drenada sobre ella se vea, y ya no la cubrirá más.
For lo! the Lord schal go out of his place, to visite the wickidnesse of the dwellere of erthe ayens hym; and the erthe schal schewe his blood, and schal no more hile hise slayn men.
