Oseas 3

1 Y el Señor me dijo: Vuelve a dar tu amor a una mujer que tiene un amante y es adúltera, así como el Señor ama a los hijos de Israel, aunque se vuelvan a otros dioses y se deleitan con las tortas de pasa.

And Jehovah said unto me, Go again, love a woman beloved of a friend, and an adulteress, according to the love of Jehovah for the children of Israel, though they turn to other gods, and love raisin-cakes.

2 Así que la compré para mí por quince siclos de plata y un Homer y medio de cebada;

So I bought her to me for fifteen silver [pieces], and for a homer of barley, and a half-homer of barley.

3 Y le dije: Tú serás mía por un largo espacio de tiempo; no debes prostituirte, y ningún otro hombre debe tenerte como su esposa; y yo también lo seré para ti.

And I said unto her, Thou shalt abide for me many days; thou shalt not play the harlot, and thou shalt not be [another] man's, and I will also be for thee.

4 Porque los hijos de Israel estarán por mucho tiempo sin rey y sin gobernante, sin ofrendas y sin sacrificios, y sin efod ni imágenes.

For the children of Israel shall abide many days without king, and without prince, and without sacrifice, and without statue, and without ephod and teraphim.

5 Y después de eso, los hijos de Israel regresarán e irán en busca del Señor su Dios y David su rey; y vendrán con temor al Señor y a sus misericordias en los días venideros.

Afterwards shall the children of Israel return, and seek Jehovah their God, and David their king; and shall turn with fear toward Jehovah and toward his goodness, at the end of the days.
