Oseas 14
1 Oh Israel, vuelve al Señor tu Dios; porque tu maldad ha sido la causa de tu caída.
Israel, be thou conuertid to thi Lord God, for thou fellist doun in thi wickidnesse.
2 Toma contigo una oración vuelve al Señor; dile: Que haya perdón por todas las malas acciones, para que podamos tomar lo que es bueno y dar a cambio el fruto de nuestros labios.
Take ye wordis with you, and be ye conuertid to the Lord; and seie ye to hym, Do thou awei al wickidnesse, and take thou good; and we schulen yelde the caluys of oure lippis.
3 Asiria no será nuestra salvación; no iremos a caballo; No volveremos a decir a la obra de nuestras manos: Ustedes son nuestros dioses, porque en ti hay misericordia para él huérfano.
Assur schal not saue vs, we schulen not stie on hors; and we schulen no more seie, Oure goddis ben the werkis of oure hondis; for thou schalt haue merci on that modirles child, which is in thee.
4 Yo sanaré su rebelión; libremente les dará mi amor, porque mi ira se apartó de ellos.
Y schal make hool the sorewis of hem; Y schal loue hem wilfuli, for my strong veniaunce is turned awei fro hem.
5 Seré como el rocío a Israel; sacará flores como un lirio y echará sus raíces tan firmes como el Líbano.
Y schal be as a dew, and Israel schal buriowne as a lilie. And the root therof schal breke out as of the Liban;
6 Sus ramas se extenderán, será hermoso como el olivo y dulces como el Líbano.
the braunchis therof schulen go. And the glorye therof schal be as an olyue tree, and the odour therof schal be as of the Liban.
7 Regresarán los que moraban bajo su sombra; serán vivificados como el grano, y florecerán como la vid; su olor será como el vino del Líbano.
Thei schulen be conuertid, and sitte in the schadewe of hym; thei schulen lyue bi wheete, and schulen buriowne as a vyne. The memorial therof schal be as the wyne of Liban.
8 En cuanto a Efraín, ¿Que más tengo yo que ver con dioses falsos? He oído y lo vigilaré; Soy como un abeto ramificado, de mí viene tu fruto.
Effraym, what schulen idols do more to me? Y schal here him, and Y schal dresse him as a greene fir tree. Thi fruit is foundun of me.
9 El sabio entenderá estas cosas; El prudente tendrá conocimiento de ellos. Porque los caminos del Señor son rectos, y los justos andan en ellos, pero los pecadores tropiezan en ellos.
Who is wijs, and schal vndurstonde these thingis? who is vndurstondyng, and schal kunne these thingis? For the weies of the Lord ben riytful, and iust men schulen go in tho; but trespassours schulen falle in tho.
