Habacuc 2
1 Tomaré mi posición y estaré de guardia, colocándome en mi torre, mirando para ver qué me dirá y qué respuesta dará a mi queja.
At post my I will stand and I will take my stand on [the] fortification so I may watch to see what? will he speak by me and what? will I bring back on complaint my.
2 Y el Señor me dio una respuesta, y dijo: Escribe la visión por escrito y déjala en claro, para que el lector pueda leer rápidamente.
And he answered me Yahweh and he said write down [the] vision and make [it] clear on the tablets so that he may run [one who] reads it.
3 Porque la visión es para un tiempo señalado, y al fin hablará y no mentira; incluso si tarda en llegar, sigue esperándola; porque ciertamente vendrá, no tardará.
For still [the] vision [is] for the appointed time and it will pant to the end and not it will lie if it will delay wait for it for surely it will come not it will delay.
4 En cuanto al hombre de orgullo, mi alma no tiene placer en él; pero el hombre justo tendrá vida a través de su buena fe.
There! it is swollen not it is upright self his in him and [the] righteous by faithfulness his he will live.
5 Él vino traiciona al hombre lleno de orgullo, que nunca tiene suficiente, de modo que no se queda en casa ¡Quién hace sus deseos tan anchos como él sepulcro! él es como la muerte; nunca está satisfecha, pero hace que todas las naciones vengan a ella, recogiendo a todos los pueblos para sí. And also for wine [is] treacherous a man arrogant and [who] not he stays at home who he has made large like Sheol throat his and he [is] like death and not he is satisfied and he has gathered to himself all the nations and he has assembled to himself all the peoples. (Sheol h7585)
6 ¡Todos ellos no tomarán una parábola, sátira, burla y un dicho amargo contra él?, dirán: Una maldición sobre el que sigue tomando lo que no es suyo y hasta cuándo seguirás haciéndote rico con préstamos!
¿ Not these [nations] all of them on him a saying will they lift up and a mocking song riddles to him so may someone say? woe to! the [one who] increases [that which] not [belongs] to him until when? and [one who] makes heavy on himself pledge[s].
7 ¿No se moverán repentinamente contra ti tus acreedores, y los que te atormentan se levantarán de su sueño, y serás para ellos como botín tomado en la guerra?
¿ Not suddenly will they arise [those who] pay interest to you and may they awake? [those who will] make tremble you and you will become plunder for them.
8 Porque has tomado sus bienes de las grandes naciones, todos los demás pueblos te quitarán tus bienes; por la sangre de los hombres y los actos violentos contra la tierra y el pueblo y todos los que viven en él.
For you you have plundered nations many they will plunder you all [the] rest of [the] peoples from [the] blood of humankind and [the] violence of [the] land of [the] town and all [those who] dwell in it.
9 ¡Ay de ti que obtiene malas ganancias para tu familia, para poner su nido en lo alto y estar a salvo de la mano del malhechor!
Woe to! [one who] gains unjust gain evil for house his to set on the high places nest his to deliver himself from [the] hand of harm.
10 Has sido una causa de vergüenza para tu casa destruyendo a varios pueblos y pecado contra tu alma.
You have planned shame for house your by cutting off peoples many and [you have] sinned self your.
11 Porque la piedra dará un grito desde la pared, y será respondida por la tabla que sale de la madera.
For a stone from [the] wall it will cry out and a rafter from [the] wood it will answer it.
12 ¡Ay! del que está construyendo un lugar con sangre y estableciendo un pueblo en él mal!
Woe to! [one who] builds a city by blood and he establishes a town by injustice.
13 He aquí, ¿no es esto del Señor de los ejércitos que los pueblos están trabajando para el fuego y fatigarse en vano?
¿ [is it] not There! from with Yahweh of hosts so they may labor peoples for [the] sufficiency of fire and nations for [the] sufficiency of vanity they grow weary.
14 Porque la tierra estará llena del conocimiento de la gloria del Señor, como las aguas cubren el mar.
For it will be filled the earth to know [the] glory of Yahweh like waters [which] they cover over [the] sea.
15 Ay! del que le da a su prójimo el vino de su odre, haciéndolo beber con una bebida fuerte, ¡con el propósito de ver su desnudez!
Woe to! [one who] makes drink neighbor his [you are] pouring out rage your and even you make [them] drunk so as to look on nakedness their.
16 Estás lleno de vergüenza en lugar de gloria: toma parte en la bebida y tú prepucio será descubierto; la copa de la diestra del Señor se volverá a ti y vómito de afrenta tu gloria se cubrirá.
You are satisfied shame more than honor drink also you and be counted as uncircumcised it will come round to you [the] cup of [the] right [hand] of Yahweh and disgrace [will be] over honor your.
17 Porque los actos violentos contra el Líbano vendrán sobre ti, y la destrucción del ganado será motivo de temor para ti, a causa de la sangre derramada de los hombres y los actos violentos contra la tierra y la ciudad y todos los habitantes.
For [the] violence of Lebanon it will cover you and [the] devastation of animals it will terrify them from [the] blood of humankind and [the] violence of [the] land of [the] town and all [those who] dwell in it.
18 ¿De qué sirve la escultura que esculpió el que la hizo? y en cuanto a la imagen de metal, que enseña mentira, ¿por qué su creador pone su fe en ella, haciendo dioses falsos sin voz?
What? does it profit a carved image that he has carved it [one who] formed it a molten image and [one which] teaches falsehood for he relies [one who] formed form his on it to make idols dumb.
19 Ay! del que le dice a un pedazo de madera: ¡Levántate! a la piedra muda, ¡Levántate! Será esto tu maestro! Mira, está plateado con oro y plata, y no hay aliento alguno en su interior.
Woe to! [one who] says to wood wake up! awake to a stone of silence it will it teach? there! it [is] sheathed gold and silver and any breath not [is] within it.
20 Pero el Señor está en su templo santo; que toda la tierra guarde silencio delante de él.
And Yahweh [is] in [the] temple of holiness his hush! from before him all the earth.
