Génesis 6
1 Y después de un tiempo, cuando los hombres se multiplicaron en la tierra, y tenían hijas,
And whanne men bigunnen to be multiplied on erthe, and hadden gendrid douytris,
2 Los hijos de Dios vieron que las hijas de los hombres eran hermosas; y tomaron esposas para ellos de aquellas que les agradaban.
the sones of God seiyen the douytris of men that thei weren faire, and token wyues to hem of alle whiche thei hadden chose.
3 Y el Señor dijo: Mi espíritu no estará en el hombre para siempre, porque él es solo carne; entonces los días de su vida serán ciento veinte años.
And God seide, My spirit schal not dwelle in man with outen ende, for he is fleisch; and the daies of hym schulen be an hundrid and twenti yeer.
4 Había hombres de gran fuerza y tamaño en la tierra en aquellos días; y después de eso, cuando los hijos de Dios tuvieron relaciones con las hijas de los hombres, dieron a luz a niños: estos eran los grandes hombres de antaño, los hombres de gran nombre.

5 Y el Señor vio que el pecado del hombre era grande sobre la tierra, y que todos los pensamientos de su corazón eran malos.
Sotheli God seiy that myche malice of men was in erthe, and that al the thouyt of herte was ententif to yuel in al tyme,
6 Y tuvo el SEÑOR dolor, porque había hecho hombre en la tierra, y dolor en su corazón.
and repentide him that he hadde maad man in erthe; and God was war bifore ayens tyme to comyng, and was touchid with sorewe of herte with ynne;
7 Y él Señor dijo: Destruiré al hombre que hice, de la faz de la tierra, al hombre y a la bestia, y lo que anda sobre la tierra, y todas las aves del cielo; porque tengo pena por haberlos hecho.
and seide, Y schal do awei man, whom Y made of nouyt, fro the face of the erthe, fro man til to lyuynge thingis, fro crepynge beeste til to the briddis of heuene; for it repentith me that Y made hem.
8 Pero Noé tuvo gracia ante los ojos de Dios.
Forsothe Noe foond grace bifore the Lord.
9 Estas son las generaciones de Noé. Noé fue un hombre recto y sin pecado en su generación: siguió los caminos de Dios.
These ben the generaciouns of Noe. Noe was a iust man and perfit in hise generaciouns; Noe yede with God,
10 Y Noé tuvo tres hijos, Sem, Cam y Jafet.
and gendride thre sones, Sem, Cam, and Jafeth.
11 Y la tierra era llena de maldad a los ojos de Dios, y llena de violencia.
Forsothe the erthe was corrupt bifore God, and was fillid with wickidnes.
12 Y mirando Dios á la tierra, vio que abundaba la maldad; porque el camino de toda carne se había tornado malvado en la tierra.
And whanne God seiy, that the erthe was corrupt, for ech fleisch ether man hadde corrupt his weie on erthe,
13 Y Dios dijo a Noé: El fin de toda carne ha llegado; la tierra está llena de sus acciones violentas, y ahora les pondré fin a la tierra.
he seide to Noe, The ende of al fleisch is comen bifore me; the erthe is fillid with wickidnesse of the face of hem, and Y schal distrye hem with the erthe.
14 Hazte una arca de madera de Gofer con cuartos en ella, y asegúrala con brea, del agua por dentro y por fuera.
Make thou to thee a schip of trees hewun and planed; thou schalt make dwellynge placis in the schip, and thou schalt anoynte it with pitche with ynne and with outforth.
15 Y esta es la manera de hacerlo: tiene trescientos codos de longitud, cincuenta codos de anchura y treinta codos de altura.
And so thou schalt make it. The lengthe of the schip schal be of thre hundrid cubitis, the brede schal be of fifti cubitis, and the hiynesse therof schal be of thretti cubitis.
16 Debes poner una ventana en el arca, un codo del techo y una puerta en el costado, y debes hacerlo con un piso inferior y un segundo y tercer piso.
Thou schalt make a wyndow in the schip, and thou schalt ende the hiynesse therof in a cubite; sotheli thou schalt sette the dore of the schip in the side binethe; thou shalt make soleris and placis of thre chaumbris in the schip.
17 Porque en verdad, enviaré un gran diluvio de aguas sobre la tierra, para la destrucción de debajo del cielo de toda carne en la cual es el aliento de vida; todo en la tierra llegará a su fin.
Lo! Y schal brynge `watris of diluuye ether greet flood on erthe, and Y schal sle ech fleisch in which is the spirit of lijf vndir heuene, and alle thingis that ben in erthe, schulen be wastid.
18 Pero contigo haré un acuerdo; y entrarás en el arca, tú y tus hijos y tu esposa y las esposas de tus hijos contigo.
And Y schal sette my couenaunt of pees with thee; and thou schalt entre in to the schip, and thy sones, and thi wijf, and the wiues of thi sones schulen entre with thee.
19 Y llevarás contigo al arca dos de toda cosa viviente, y los guardarás a salvo contigo; ellos serán hombres y mujeres.
And of alle lyuynge beestis of al fleisch thou schalt brynge in to the schip tweyne and tweyne, of male kynde and female, that thei lyue with thee;
20 Dos de cada especie de ave y de ganado, y de toda clase de seres vivientes que vayan sobre la tierra, los llevarán consigo para evitar que sean destruidos.
of briddis bi her kynde, and of werk beestis in her kynde, and of ech crepynge beeste of erthe, by her kynde; tweyne and tweyne of alle schulen entre with thee, that thei moun lyue.
21 Y haz una reserva de toda clase de alimentos para ti y para ellos.
Therfore thou schalt take with thee of alle metis that moun be etun, and thou schalt bere to gidre at thee, and tho schulen be as well to thee as to the beestis in to mete.
22 Y todas estas cosas que hizo Noé; como Dios dijo, así lo hizo.
Therfor Noe dide alle thingis whiche God comaundide to hym.
