Génesis 49
1 Y envió Jacob a sus hijos, y dijo: Vengan todos ustedes, para que yo les dé noticias de su destino en el futuro.
Forsothe Jacob clepide hise sones, and seide to hem, Be ye gaderid that Y telle what thingis schulen come to you in the laste daies;
2 Acércate, hijos de Jacob, y escucha las palabras de Israel tu padre.
be ye gaderid, `and here, ye sones of Jacob, here ye Israel youre fadir.
3 Rubén, tú eres mi hijo mayor, el primer fruto de mi fuerza, primero en orgullo y primero en poder:
Ruben, my firste gendrid sone, thou art my strengthe and the bigynnyng of my sorewe; thou ouytist to be the former in yiftis, the more in lordschip;
4 Pero debido a que eres incontrolable como las aguas, el primer lugar no será tuyo; porque subiste a la cama de tu padre, incluso a su lecho nupcial, y lo deshonraste.
thou art sched out as watir; wexe thou not, for thou stiedist on the bed of thi fader, and defoulidist his bed.
5 Simeón y Leví son hermanos; el engaño y la fuerza son sus diseños secretos.
Symeon and Leuy, britheren, fiytynge vessils of wickidnesse;
6 No participes en sus secretos, alma mía; mantente alejado, oh corazón mío, de sus reuniones; porque en su furor mataron a los hombres, y por su placer incluso los bueyes fueron heridos.
my soule come not in to the councel of hem, and my glorie be not in the congregacioun of hem; for in her woodnesse thei killiden a man, and in her wille thei myneden the wal;
7 Una maldición sobre su ira; que es fuerte y en su ira porque era cruel. Dejaré que su herencia en Jacob se rompa, esparciendolo de sus lugares en Israel.
curside be the woodnesse of hem, for it is obstynat, and the indignacioun of hem for it is hard; Y schal departe hem in Jacob, and I schal scatere hem in Israel.
8 A ti, Judá, tus hermanos te alabarán; tu mano estará sobre el cuello de tus enemigos; los hijos de tu padre se postrarán delante de ti.
Judas, thi britheren schulen preise thee, thin hondis schulen be in the nollis of thin enemyes; the sones of thi fadir schulen worschipe thee.
9 Judá es como un cachorro de león; como un león lleno de carne te has vuelto grandioso, hijo mío; ahora toma su descanso como un león tendido y como un viejo león; ¿quién lo despertará de su sueño?
`A whelp of lioun `is Judas; my sone thou stiedist to prey; thou restidist, and hast leyn as a lioun, and as a lionesse who schal reise hym?
10 La vara de la autoridad no será quitada de Judá, y no estará sin un legislador, hasta que venga quien tiene derecho a ella, y los pueblos se pondrán bajo su dominio.
The septre schal not be takun awey fro Juda, and a duyk of his hipe, til he come that schal be sent, and he schal be abiding of hethene men;
11 Anudando la cuerda de su asno a la vid, y su pollino la mejor vid; lavando su túnica en vino, y su ropa en la sangre de uvas:
and he schal tye his colt at the vyner, and his femal asse at the vyne; A! my sone, he schal waische his stoole in wyn, and his mentil in the blood of grape;
12 Sus ojos son más oscuros que él vino, y sus dientes más blancos que la leche.
hise iyen ben fairere than wyn, and hise teeth ben whittere than mylk.
13 El lugar de reposo de Zabulón estará junto al mar, y él será un puerto para los barcos; el borde de su tierra será por Zidon.
Zabulon schal dwelle in the brenk of the see, and in the stondyng of schipis; and schal stretche til to Sydon.
14 Isacar es un asno fuerte extendido entre los rebaños:
Isachar, a strong asse,
15 Y vio que el descanso era bueno y la tierra era agradable; así que les dejó poner carga en su espalda y se convirtió en un esclavo.

16 Dan será el juez de su pueblo, como una de las tribus de Israel.
Dan schal deme his puple, as also another lynage in Israel.
17 Dan será como una serpiente en el camino, una serpiente cornuda junto al camino, mordiendo el pie del caballo para que el jinete caiga de espaldas.
Dan be maad a serpent in the weie, and cerastes in the path, and bite the feet of an hors, that the `stiere therof falle bacward; Lord,
18 He estado esperando tu salvación, oh Señor.
Y schal abide thin helthe.
19 Gad, un ejército vendrá contra él, pero él descenderá sobre ellos en su huida.
Gad schal be gird, and schal fiyte bifor hym, and he schal be gird bihynde.
20 El pan de Asher es abundante; él da comida digna digna de reyes.
Aser his breed schal be plenteuouse, and he schal yyue delicis to kyngis.
21 Naphtali es una cierva suelta, dando hermosas crías.
Neptalym schal be an hert sent out, and yyuynge spechis of fairenesse.
22 José es una rama fructífera, rama fructífera junto a la fuente; y sus ramas trepan sobre la pared.
Joseph, a sone encreessynge, `a sone encresinge, and fair in biholdyng; douytris runnen aboute on the wal,
23 Le causaron dolorosas amarguras los arqueros; lanzaron sus flechas contra él, lo odian, siempre lo están molestando:
but hise brithren wraththeden hym, and chidden, and thei hadden dartis, and hadden enuye to hym.
24 pero José tiene brazos fuertes, y mantiene firme su arco, por la fortaleza del Dios de Jacob! con el nombre del Pastor la Roca de Israel!:
His bowe sat in the stronge, and the boondis of his armes, and hondis weren vnboundun bi the hond of the myyti of Jacob; of hym a scheepherd yede out, the stoon of Israel.
25 Incluso por el Dios de tu padre, que será tu ayuda, y por él Todopoderoso, que te hará sentir lleno de bendiciones del cielo en lo alto, bendiciones de lo profundo, extendidas bajo la tierra, bendiciones de los pechos y del vientre fértil:
God of thi fadir schal be thin helpere, and Almyyti God schal blesse thee with blessyngis of heuene fro aboue, and with blessyngis of the see liggynge binethe, with blessyngis of tetis, and of wombe;
26 Tu padre te bendijo más de lo que mis padres me bendijeron. Hasta el fin de las montañas más antiguas y el fruto de las colinas eternas: que vengan sobre la cabeza de José, sobre la frente del que estaba separado de sus hermanos.
the blessyngis of thi fadir ben coumfortid, the blessyngis of his fadris, til the desire of euerlastynge hillis cam; blessyngis ben maad in the heed of Joseph, and in the nol of Nazarei among his britheren.
27 Benjamín es un lobo, que busca carne: por la mañana toma su comida, y por la tarde hace división de lo que ha tomado.
Beniamyn, a rauyschynge wolf, schal ete prey eerly, and in the euentid he schal departe spuylis.
28 Estas son las doce tribus de Israel: y estas son las palabras que su padre les dijo, bendiciendo; a cada uno le dio su bendición.
Alle these weren in twelue kynredis of Israel; her fadir spak these thingys to hem, and blesside hem alle by propre blessyngis,
29 Y les ordenó, diciendo: Ponme en paz con mi pueblo y con mis padres, en el hueco de la peña en el campo de Efrón el hitita,
and comaundide hem, and seide, Y am gaderid to my puple, birie ye me with my fadris in the double denne, which is in the lond of Efron Ethei, ayens Manbre,
30 En la roca del campo de Macpela, cerca de Mamre, en la tierra de Canaán, que Abraham tomó de Efrón el hitita, para ser su lugar de descanso.
in the lond of Canaan, which denne Abraham bouyte with the feeld of Efron Ethei, in to possessioun of sepulcre.
31 Allí fueron sepultados Abraham y Sara su mujer, y pusieron allí a Isaac y a Rebeca su mujer, y allí hice descansar a Lea.
There thei birieden hym, and Sare his wijf, also Ysaac was biried there with Rebecca his wijf; there also Lia liggith biried.
32 En la roca en el campo, que recibió un precio del pueblo de Het.
33 Y cuando Jacob hubo llegado a estas palabras con sus hijos, y se acostó en su lecho, abandonó su espíritu y se fue por camino de su pueblo.
And whanne the comaundementis weren endid, bi whiche he tauyte the sones, he gaderide hise feet on the bed, and diede, and he was put to his puple.
