Génesis 45
1 Entonces José, incapaz de retener sus sentimientos ante los que estaban con él, dio órdenes para que todos fueran enviados, y nadie estaba presente cuando dejó en claro a sus hermanos quién era.
Then Ioseph could not refraine him selfe before all that stoode by him, but hee cryed, Haue forth euery man from me. And there taryed not one with him, while Ioseph vttered himselfe vnto his brethren.
2 Y tan fuerte fue su llanto, que llegó a oídos de los egipcios y de toda la casa de Faraón.
And hee wept and cried, so that the Egyptians heard: the house of Pharaoh heard also.
3 Y José dijo a sus hermanos: Yo soy José. ¿Mi padre aún vive? Pero sus hermanos no pudieron darle una respuesta porque estaban turbados ante él.
Then Ioseph sayde to his brethren, I am Ioseph: doeth my father yet liue? But his brethren coulde not answere him, for they were astonished at his presence.
4 Entonces José dijo a sus hermanos: Acércate a mí. Y se acercaron, y él dijo: Yo soy tu hermano José, a quien enviaste a Egipto.
Againe, Ioseph sayde to his brethren, Come neere, I pray you, to mee. And they came neere. And he sayde, I am Ioseph your brother, whom ye sold into Egypt.
5 Ahora, no se turben ni se enojen con ustedes mismos por haberme enviado, porque Dios me envió ante ustedes para ser el salvador de sus vidas.
Nowe therefore be not sad, neither grieued with your selues, that ye sold me hither: for God did send me before you for your preseruation.
6 Porque estos dos años han sido años de necesidad, y aún faltan cinco años más para que no haya arado ni corte de grano.
For nowe two yeeres of famine haue bene through ye land, and fiue yeeres are behind, wherein neither shalbe earing nor haruest.
7 Dios me envió delante de ti para mantenerte a ti y a los tuyos viviendo en la tierra para que puedas convertirte en una gran nación.
Wherefore God sent me before you to preserue your posteritie in this land, and to saue you aliue by a great deliuerance.
8 Así que ahora no fuiste tú quien me envió aquí, sino Dios; y él me ha puesto por padre a Faraón, y señor de toda su casa, y señor de toda la tierra de Egipto.
Now the you sent not me hither, but God, who hath made mee a father vnto Pharaoh, and lorde of all his house, and ruler throughout all the land of Egypt.
9 Ahora ve rápidamente a mi padre, y dile: Tu hijo José dice: Dios me ha hecho gobernador sobre toda la tierra de Egipto; ven a mí en seguida;
Haste you and go vp to my father, and tel him, Thus saieth thy sonne Ioseph, God hath made me lord of all Egypt: come downe to me, tary not.
10 La tierra de Gosén será tu lugar de vida, y tú estarás cerca de mí; tú y tus hijos y los hijos de sus hijos, y sus rebaños y manadas y todo lo que tienen.
And thou shalt dwel in ye land of Goshen, and shalt be neere me, thou and thy children, and thy childrens children, and thy sheepe, and thy beastes, and all that thou hast.
11 Y allí te cuidaré, para que tú y tu familia no estén en necesidad, porque aún faltan cinco años venideros.
Also I will nourish thee there (for yet remaine fiue yeeres of famine) lest thou perish through pouertie, thou and thy houshold, and all that thou hast.
12 Ahora, vean tus ojos, y vean los ojos de mi hermano Benjamín, que es mi boca la que te dice estas cosas.
And behold, your eyes doe see, and the eyes of my brother Beniamin, that my mouth speaketh to you.
13 Dale a mi padre palabra de toda mi gloria en Egipto y de todo lo que has visto; y vuelve rápidamente con mi padre.
Therefore tel my father of al mine honour in Egypt, and of all that ye haue seene, and make haste, and bring my father hither.
14 Entonces, llorando, tomó a Benjamín en sus brazos, y Benjamín mismo estaba llorando en el cuello de José.
Then hee fell on his brother Beniamins necke, and wept, and Beniamin wept on his necke.
15 Entonces él dio un beso a todos sus hermanos, llorando sobre ellos; y después de eso sus hermanos no tenían miedo de hablar con él.
Moreouer, he kissed all his brethren, and wept vpon them: and afterwarde his brethren talked with him.
16 Y noticias de estas cosas pasaron por la casa de Faraón, y se dijo que habían venido los hermanos de José; y le pareció bien a Faraón y a sus siervos.
And the tidinges came vnto Pharaohs house, so that they said, Iosephs brethre are come: and it pleased Pharaoh well, and his seruants.
17 Y Faraón dijo a José: Di a tus hermanos: Pon tus bienes en tus animales, y vuélvete a la tierra de Canaán;
Then Pharaoh said vnto Ioseph, Say to thy brethren, This doe ye, lade your beastes and depart, go to the land of Canaan,
18 Y toma a tu padre y a sus familias, y vuelve a mí; y yo te daré todos los bienes de Egipto, y la grosura de la tierra será tu alimento.
And take your father, and your houshoulds, and come to me, and I wil giue you the best of the land of Egypt, and ye shall eate of the fat of the land.
19 y diles: “Esto debes hacer: toma carros de la tierra de Egipto para tus pequeños y para tus mujeres, y toma a tu padre y vuelve”.
And I commaund thee, Thus doe ye, take you charets out of the lande of Egypt for your children, and for your wiues, and bring your father and come.
20 Y no pienses en tus bienes, porque lo mejor de toda la tierra de Egipto es tuyo.
Also regarde not your stuffe: for the best of all the land of Egypt is yours.
21 Y los hijos de Israel hicieron como él dijo; y José les dio carros como había sido ordenado por Faraón, y comida para su viaje.
And the children of Israel did so: and Ioseph gaue them charets according to the commandement of Pharaoh: hee gaue them vitaile also for the iourney.
22 A cada uno de ellos dio tres mudas de ropa; pero a Benjamín le dio trescientos pedazos de plata y cinco mudas de ropa.
He gaue them all, none except, change of raiment: but vnto Beniamin he gaue three hundreth pieces of siluer, and fiue sutes of raiment.
23 Y a su padre envió diez asnos con cosas buenas de Egipto sobre sus espaldas, y diez asnas con trigo y pan y comida para su padre en el camino.
And vnto his father likewise hee sent ten hee asses laden with the best things of Egypt, and ten shee asses laden with wheate, and bread and meate for his father by the way.
24 Y envió a sus hermanos en su camino, y les dijo: Mirad que no tengáis argumento en el camino.
So sent he his brethren away, and they departed: and he sayde vnto them, Fall not out by the way.
25 Y subieron de Egipto y vinieron a la tierra de Canaán, a su padre Jacob.
Then they went vp from Egypt, and came vnto the land of Canaan vnto Iaakob their father,
26 Y le dijeron: José vive, y regente sobre toda la tierra de Egipto. Y al oír esto, Jacob quedó abrumado, porque no tenía fe en él.
And tolde him, saying, Ioseph is yet aliue, and he also is gouernour ouer all the lande of Egypt, and Iaakobs heart failed: for he beleeued them not.
27 Y le contaron todo lo que José les había dicho; y cuando vio los carros que José había enviado para ellos, su espíritu regresó a él:
And they told him al the words of Ioseph, which he had said vnto the: but when he saw the charets, which Ioseph had sent to cary him, then the spirit of Iaakob their father reuiued.
28 Y dijo Israel: Basta: José mi hijo aún vive; Iré a verlo antes de mi muerte.
And Israel said, I haue inough: Ioseph my sonne is yet aliue: I will go and see him yer I die.
