Gálatas 1
1 Pablo, apóstol (no de los hombres, ni por el hombre, sino por Jesucristo, y Dios el Padre, que lo hizo volver de entre los muertos),
Pavl an Apostle (not of men, neither by man, but by Iesus Christ, and God the Father which hath raised him from the dead)
2 Y todos los hermanos que están conmigo, a las iglesias de Galacia:
And all the brethren which are with me, vnto the Churches of Galatia:
3 Gracia a ustedes y paz de parte de Dios el Padre y de nuestro Señor Jesucristo,
Grace be with you, and peace from God the Father, and from our Lord Iesus Christ,
4 Que se entregó a sí mismo por nuestros pecados, para que nos haga libres del presente mundo malvado, según el propósito de nuestro Dios y Padre: (aiōn g165)
Which gaue himself for our sinnes, that he might deliuer vs from this present euill world according to the will of God euen our Father, (aiōn g165)
To whom be glory for euer and euer, Amen. (aiōn g165)
6 Estoy sorprendido de que están siendo apartados tan rápidamente de Dios cuya palabra les llegó por la gracia de Cristo, para seguir un diferente evangelio;
I marueile that ye are so soone remoued away vnto another Gospel, from him that had called you in the grace of Christ,
7 No hay hay otro evangelio: sólo que hay algunos que te causan problemas, deseando hacer cambios al mensaje de salvación de Cristo.
Which is not another Gospel, saue that there be some which trouble you, and intend to peruert the Gospel of Christ.
8 Pero aun si nosotros, o un ángel del cielo, les anuncia otro evangelio que no sea el que les hemos dado, que haya una maldición sobre él.
But though that we, or an Angel from heauen preach vnto you otherwise, then that which we haue preached vnto you, let him be accursed.
9 Como hemos dicho antes, así digo ahora, si alguien te predica alguna buena nueva que no sea la que se les ha dado, que haya una maldición sobre él.
As we sayd before, so say I now againe, If any man preach vnto you otherwise, then that ye haue receiued, let him be accursed.
10 ¿Estoy usando argumentos para los hombres o Dios? o es mi deseo dar placer a los hombres? si todavía estuviera complaciendo a los hombres, no sería un siervo de Cristo.
For nowe preach I mans doctrine, or Gods? or go I about to please men? for if I should yet please men, I were not the seruant of Christ.
11 Porque les digo, hermanos míos, que él mensaje de salvación del cual yo era el predicador no es del hombre.
Now I certifie you, brethren, that ye Gospel which was preached of me, was not after man.
12 Porque no lo obtuve del hombre, y no me dieron enseñanza en él, sino que vino a mí a través de la revelación de Jesucristo.
For neither receiued I it of man, neither was I taught it, but by the reuelation of Iesus Christ.
13 Porque en el pasado han llegado noticias de mi forma de vida en la religión de los judíos, de cómo fui cruel sin medida contra la Iglesia de Dios, y le hice un gran daño:
For ye haue heard of my conuersation in time past, in the Iewish religion, how that I persecuted the Church of God extremely, and wasted it,
14 Y fui más allá en la religión de los judíos que un número de mi generación entre mis compatriotas, que tienen un mayor interés en las creencias transmitidas por mis padres.
And profited in the Iewish religion aboue many of my companions of mine owne nation, and was much more zealous of the traditions of my fathers.
15 Pero cuando fue la buena voluntad de Dios, por quien me marcó incluso desde el vientre de mi madre, por su gracia,
But when it pleased God (which had separated me from my mothers wombe, and called me by his grace)
16 Dar la revelación de su Hijo en mí, para que yo pudiera dar la noticia de él a los gentiles; entonces no tomé la opinión de carne y sangre,
To reueile his Sonne in me, that I should preach him among the Gentiles, immediatly I communicated not with flesh and blood:
17 Y no subí a Jerusalén a los que fueron apóstoles antes que a mí; pero me fui a Arabia, y de nuevo volví a Damasco.
Neither came I againe to Hierusalem to them which were Apostles before me, but I went into Arabia, and turned againe vnto Damascus.
18 Luego, después de tres años, subí a Jerusalén para ver a Pedro, y estuve allí con él quince días.
Then after three yeeres I came againe to Hierusalem to visite Peter, and abode with him fifteene dayes.
19 Pero de los otros Apóstoles, sólo vi a Jacobo, el hermano del Señor.
And none other of the Apostles sawe I, saue Iames the Lords brother.
20 Ahora Dios es testigo de que las cosas que les escribo son verdaderas.
Nowe the things which I write vnto you, beholde, I witnes before God, that I lie not.
21 Luego llegué a las partes de Siria y Cilicia.
After that, I went into the coastes of Syria and Cilicia:
22 Y las iglesias de Judea, que estaban en Cristo, todavía no conocían mi rostro ni mi persona.
for I was vnknowen by face vnto the Churches of Iudea, which were in Christ.
23 Sólo les llegó a oídos que aquel que alguna vez fue cruel con nosotros ahora está predicando la fe que antes había sido atacada por él;
But they had heard onely some say, Hee which persecuted vs in time past, nowe preacheth the faith which before he destroyed.
24 Y dieron gloria a Dios en mí.
And they glorified God for me.
