Esdras 1
1 En el primer año de Ciro, rey de Persia, para que la palabra del Señor dada por la boca de Jeremías se hiciera realidad, el espíritu de Ciro, rey de Persia, fue movido por el Señor, por lo que hizo una declaración pública en todo su reino, y la puso por escrito, diciendo:
In the firste yeer of Cirus, kyng of Persis, that the word of the Lord bi the mouth of Jeremye schulde be fillid, the Lord reiside the spirit of Cyrus, kyng of Persis; and he pupplischide a vois in al his rewme, ye, bi the scripture, and seide, Cirus,
2 Estas son las palabras de Ciro, rey de Persia: El Señor Dios del cielo me ha dado todos los reinos de la tierra; y él me ha hecho responsable de construir un templo para él en Jerusalén, que está en Judá.
the kyng of Persis, seith these thingis, The Lord God of heuene yaf to me alle the rewmes of erthe, and he comaundide to me, that Y schulde bilde to hym an hows in Jerusalem, which is in Judee.
3 El que esté entre ustedes de su pueblo, que su Dios esté con él, que suba a Jerusalén, que está en Judá, y vaya a construir el templo de la casa del Señor, el Dios de Israel; Él es el Dios que habita en Jerusalén.
Who is among you of al his puple? his God be with hym; stie he in to Jerusalem, which is in Judee, and bilde he the hows of the Lord God of Israel; he is God, which is in Jerusalem.
4 Y quienquiera que esté del resto de Israel, viviendo en cualquier lugar, permita que los hombres de ese lugar le ayuden con ofrendas de plata y oro y bienes y bestias, además de la ofrenda dada gratuitamente para la casa de Dios en Jerusalén.
And alle othere men, `that dwellen where euere in alle places, helpe hym; the men of her place helpe in siluer, and gold, and catel, and scheep, outakun that that thei offren wilfulli to the temple of God, which is in Jerusalem.
5 Entonces los jefes de familia de Judá y Benjamín, con los sacerdotes y los levitas, se prepararon, incluso todos aquellos cuyos espíritus fueron movidos por Dios para subir y reconstruir tomar la construcción de la casa del Señor en Jerusalén.
And the princis of fadris of Juda and of Beniamyn risiden, and the preestis, and dekenes, and ech man whos spirit God reiside, for to stie to bilde the temple of the Lord, that was in Jerusalem.
6 Y todos sus vecinos les ayudaron con ofrendas de recipientes de plata y oro y bienes y bestias y cosas de gran valor, además de lo que se ofrecía libremente.
And alle men that weren `in cumpas helpiden the hondis of hem, in vesselis of siluer, and of gold, `in catel, in purtenaunce of houshold, and in alle werk beestis, outakun these thingis which thei offriden bi fre wille.
7 Y el rey Ciro sacó las vasijas de la casa del Señor que Nabucodonosor había tomado de Jerusalén y había puesto en la casa de sus dioses;
Forsothe kyng Cyrus brouyte forth the vessels of the temple of the Lord, whiche Nabugodonosor hadde take fro Jerusalem, and hadde set tho in the temple of his god.
8 Los sacó, pues Ciro, hizo que Mitridates, el guardián de su riqueza, saliera, y los dio, después de contarlos, a Sesbasar, el gobernante de Judá.
Sotheli Cyrus, the kyng of Persis, brouyte forth tho bi the hond of Mytridatis, sone of Gazabar; and noumbride tho to Sasabazar, the prince of Juda.
9 Y este es el número de ellos: había treinta tazones de oro, mil tazones de plata, veintinueve cuchillos,
And this is the noumbre of tho vessels; goldun violis, thritti; siluerne viols, a thousynde; `grete knyues, nyne and twenti; goldun cuppis, thritti; siluerne cuppis,
10 Treinta tazas de oro, cuatrocientas diez tazas de plata y mil otras vasijas.
two thousynde foure hundrid and ten; othere vessels, a thousynde;
11 Había cinco mil cuatrocientas vasijas de oro y plata. Todos estos fueron devueltos por Sesbasar, cuando los que habían sido tomados prisioneros subieron de Babilonia a Jerusalén.
alle the vessels of gold and siluere weren fyue thousynde foure hundrid. Sasabazar took alle vessels, with hem that stieden fro the transmygracioun of Babiloyne, in to Jerusalem.
