1 Ahora estos son los jefes de familia que fueron enumerados de los que subieron conmigo desde Babilonia, cuando Artajerjes era el rey.
These are now the chiefe fathers of them, and the genealogie of them that came vp with mee from Babel, in the reigne of King Artahshashte.
2 De los hijos de Finees, Gersón; de los hijos de Itamar, Daniel; de los hijos de David, Hatus;
Of the sonnes of Phinehas, Gershom: of the sonnes of Ithamar, Daniel: of the sonnes of Dauid, Hattush:
3 De los hijos de Secanías; de los hijos de Paros, Zacarías; y con él se enumeraron ciento cincuenta varones.
Of the sonnes of Shechaniah, of the sonnes of Pharosh, Zechariah, and with him the count of the males, an hundreth and fiftie.
4 De los hijos de Pahat-moab, Eliehoenai, hijo de Zerahías; y con él doscientos varones.
Of the sonnes of Pahath Moab, Elihoenai, the sonne of Zerahiah, and with him two hundreth males.
5 De los hijos de Secanías, el hijo de Jahaziel; y con él trescientos varones.
Of the sonnes of Shechaniah, the sonne of Iahaziel, and with him three hundreth males.
6 Y de los hijos de Adín, Ebed, hijo de Jonatán; y con él cincuenta varones.
And of the sonnes of Adin, Ebed the sonne of Ionathan, and with him fiftie males.
7 Y de los hijos de Elam, Jesaías; el hijo de Atalía; Y con él setenta varones.
And of the sonnes of Elam, Ieshaiah the sonne of Athaliah, and with him seuentie males.
8 Y de los hijos de Sefatías, Zebadías, hijo de Micael; Y con él ochenta varones.
And of the sonnes of Shephatiah, Zebadiah the sonne of Michael, and with him fourescore males.
9 De los hijos de Joab, Obadias, hijo de Jehiel; y con él doscientos dieciocho varones.
Of the sonnes of Ioab, Obadiah the sonne of Iehiel, and with him two hundreth and eighteene males.
10 Y de los hijos de Selomit, hijo de Josifías; y con él ciento sesenta varones.
And of the sonnes of Shelomith the sonne of Iosiphiah, and with him an hundreth and threescore males.
11 Y de los hijos de Bebai, Zacarías, hijo de Bebai; Y con él veintiocho varones.
And of the sonnes of Bebai, Zechariah the sonne of Bebai, and with him eight and twentie males.
12 De los hijos de Azgad, Johanan, hijo de Hacatan; y con él ciento diez varones.
And of the sonnes of Azgad, Iohanan the sonne of Hakkatan, and with him an hundreth and ten males.
13 Y de los hijos de Adonicam, los últimos, cuyos nombres fueron Elifelet, Jeiel y Semaías; Y con ellos sesenta varones.
And of the sonnes of Adonikam, that were the last, whose names are these: Eliphelet, Iehiel and Shemaiah, and with them three score males.
14 Y de los hijos de Bigvai, Uzai y Zabud; Y con ellos setenta varones.
And of the sonnes of Biguai, Vthai, and Zabbud, and with them seuentie males.
15 Y los hice juntar junto al río que fluía hacia Ahava; y estuvimos allí en tiendas de campaña durante tres días; y después de ver a la gente y los sacerdotes, vi que no había hijos de Leví.
And I gathered them to the Riuer that goeth toward Ahaua, and there abode we three dayes: then I viewed the people, and the Priests, and found there none of the sonnes of Leui.
16 Entonces envié a Eliezer, a Ariel, a Semaias, a Elnatan, Jarib, a Elnatan, a Natán, a Zacarías, a Mesulam, a todos los hombres responsables; y por Joiarib y Elnatan, que eran hombres sabios.
Therefore sent I to Eliezer, to Ariel, to Shemeiah, and to Elnathan, and to Iarib, and to Elnathan, and to Nathan, and to Zechariah, and to Meshullam the chiefe, and to Ioiarib and to Elnathan, men of vnderstanding,
17 Y los envié a Ido, el jefe en el lugar Casifia, y les ordené que dijeran a Ido y sus hermanos los sirvientes del templo que estaban en Casifia, para que pudieran traer con nosotros hombres para hacer el trabajo del templo de nuestro Dios.
And I gaue them commandement, to Iddo the chiefest at the place of Casiphia, and I told them the words that they should speake to Iddo, and to his brethren the Nethinims at the place of Casiphia, that they should cause the ministers of the house of our God to come vnto vs.
18 Y con la ayuda de nuestro Dios, obtuvieron para nosotros, uno de los hijos de Mahli, el hijo de Leví, el hijo de Israel; Sherebiah con sus hijos y hermanos, dieciocho;
So by the good hande of our God which was vpon vs, they brought vs a man of vnderstanding of the sonnes of Mahali the sonne of Leui the sonne of Israel, and Sherebiah with his sonnes and his brethren, euen eighteene.
19 Y a Hasabías, y Jesaías de los hijos de Merari, a sus hermanos y a sus hijos, veinte;
Also Hashabiah, and with him Ieshaiah of the sonnes of Merari, with his brethren, and their sonnes twentie.
20 Y de los sirvientes del templo, a quienes David y los capitanes habían dado el trabajo de ayudar a los levitas, doscientos veinte, todos ellos especialmente nombrados.
And of the Nethinims, whom Dauid had set, and the Princes for the seruice of the Leuites, two hundreth and twentie of the Nethinims, which all were named by name.
21 Entonces proclamé un ayuno, al lado del río Ahava, para que pudiéramos humillarnos ante nuestro Dios en oración, pidiéndole un camino recto para nosotros y para nuestros pequeños y para toda nuestra sustancia.
And there at the Riuer, by Ahaua, I proclaimed a fast, that we might humble our selues before our God, and seeke of him a right way for vs, and for our children, and for all our substance.
22 Porque, por vergüenza, no le pediría al rey que una banda de hombres y jinetes armados nos ayuden contra aquellos que podrían atacarnos en el camino: porque habíamos dicho al rey: La mano de nuestro Dios está sobre sus siervos para siempre, pero su poder y su ira están contra todos los que se apartaron de él.
For I was ashamed to require of the King an armie and horsemen, to helpe vs against the enemie in the way, because we had spoken to the King, saying, The hande of our God is vpon all them that seeke him in goodnesse, but his power and his wrath is against all them that forsake him.
23 Así que ayunamos, pidiendo a nuestro Dios por esto: y Dios atendió nuestra súplica.
So we fasted, aud besought our God for this: and he was intreated of vs.
24 Así que puse a un lado a doce de los jefes de los sacerdotes, a Serebías, a Hasabías y a diez de sus hermanos con ellos,
Then I separated twelue of the chiefe of the Priests, Sherebiah, and Hashabiah, and ten of their brethren with them,
25 Y les di y pesé la plata, el oro y las vasijas, toda la ofrenda por la casa de nuestro Dios que el rey y sus sabios y sus capitanes y todo el Israel presente había dado:
And weighed them the siluer and the gold, and the vessels, euen the offring of ye house of our God, which the King and his counselers, and his Princes, and all Israel that were present had offred.
26 Les pese y entregue en sus manos seiscientos cincuenta talentos de plata, y vasos de plata, cien pesos de talentos y cien talentos de oro.
And I weighed vnto their hand sixe hundreth and fiftie talents of siluer, and in siluer vessel, an hundreth talents, and in golde, an hundreth talents:
27 Y veinte tazas de oro, de mil dracmas, y dos recipientes del mejor bronce brillante, igual en valor al oro.
And twentie basins of golde, of a thousand drammes, and two vessels of shining brasse very good, and precious as golde.
28 Y les dije: Ustedes son consagrados para el Señor, y los vasos son sagrados; y la plata y el oro son una ofrenda voluntaria al Señor, el Dios de tus padres.
And I said vnto them, Ye are consecrate vnto the Lord, and the vessels are consecrate, and the gold and the siluer are freely offred vnto the Lord God of your fathers.
29 Cuídalos y guárdalos, hasta que los pongas en la balanza delante de los jefes de los sacerdotes y los levitas y los jefes de las familias de Israel, en Jerusalén, en las habitaciones de la casa del Señor.
Watch ye, and keepe them vntill ye weigh them before the chiefe Priestes and the Leuites, and the chiefe fathers of Israel in Ierusalem in the chambers of the house of the Lord.
30 Entonces los sacerdotes y los levitas tomaron el peso de la plata y el oro y los vasos, para llevarlos a Jerusalén a la casa de nuestro Dios.
So the Priests and the Leuites receiued the weight of the siluer and of the golde, and of the vessels to bring them to Ierusalem, vnto the house of our God.
31 Luego nos fuimos del río de Ahava el día doce del primer mes para ir a Jerusalén; y la mano de nuestro Dios estaba sobre nosotros, y él nos dio la salvación de nuestros enemigos y de los que estaban esperando para atacarnos por el camino.
Then we departed from the Riuer of Ahauah on the twelft day of the first moneth, to go vnto Ierusalem, and the hand of our God was vpon vs, and deliuered vs from the hand of the enemie, and of such as layde waite by the way.
32 Y vinimos a Jerusalén y estuvimos allí por tres días.
And we came to Ierusalem, and abode there three dayes.
33 Y al cuarto día, la plata y el oro y las vasijas se pesaron en la casa de nuestro Dios en manos de Meremot, el hijo de Urías, el sacerdote; Y con él estaba Eleazar, hijo de Finees; y con ellos estaban Jozabad, el hijo de Josué, y Noadías, el hijo de Binuy, los levitas;
And on ye fourth day was the siluer weighed, and the golde and the vessell in the house of our God by the hand of Meremoth the sonne of Vriah the Priest, and with him was Eleazar the sonne of Phinehas, and with them was Iozabad the sonne of Ieshua, and Noadiah the sonne of Binnui the Leuites,
34 Todo se entregó por número y por peso, y el peso se dejó constancia en ese momento.
By number and by weight of euery one, and all the weight was written at the same time.
35 Y los que habían sido prisioneros, que habían regresado de la cautividad, hicieron ofrendas quemadas al Dios de Israel, doce bueyes por todo Israel, noventa y seis ovejas, setenta y siete corderos, doce cabras por un ofrenda por el pecado: todo esto fue una ofrenda quemada para el Señor.
Also the children of the captiuitie, which were come out of captiuitie, offred burnt offrings vnto the God of Israel, twelue bullockes for all Israel, ninetie and sixe rammes, seuentie and seuen lambes, and twelue hee goates for sinne: all was a burnt offring of the Lord.
36 Y dieron las órdenes del rey a los capitanes del rey y los gobernantes del oeste del río, y dieron a la gente y a la casa de Dios la ayuda que se necesitaba.
And they deliuered the Kings commission vnto the Kings officers, and to the captaines beyond the Riuer: and they promoted the people, and the house of God.
