Ezequiel 4

1 Y tú, hijo de hombre, toma un ladrillo, ponlo delante de ti y diseña la imagen de un pueblo, incluso Jerusalén.

Thou also, son of man, take thee a tile, and lay it before thee, and portray upon it a city, even Jerusalem.

2 Rodéala de un ejército, construye una barda y una rampa también; y coloca carpas contra él, colocando arietes a su alrededor para derribar sus paredes.

And lay siege against it, and build forts against it, and cast up a mound against it. Also set camps against it, and plant battering rams against it round about.

3 Y toma una plancha de hierro plana, y pónla por una pared de hierro entre tú y el pueblo; y gira tu cara hacia ella, como si la atacaras. Esto será una señal para los hijos de Israel.

And take thou to thee an iron pan, and set it for a wall of iron between thee and the city. And set thy face toward it, and it shall be besieged, and thou shall lay siege against it. This shall be a sign to the house of Israel.

4 Luego, echándote sobre tu lado izquierdo, toma el pecado de los hijos de Israel sobre ti mismo, porque mientras estés extendido, el pecado de los hijos de Israel estará sobre ti.

Moreover lie thou upon thy left side, and lay the iniquity of the house of Israel upon it. According to the number of the days that thou shall lie upon it, thou shall bear their iniquity.

5 Porque te he dado los años de su pecado, igual a los años de su iniquidad; trescientos noventa días. Llevarás sobre ti el pecado de los hijos de Israel.

For I have appointed the years of their iniquity to be a number of days to thee, even three hundred and ninety days. So thou shall bear the iniquity of the house of Israel.

6 Y cuando hayas cumplido estos días, gira hacia tu lado derecho, debes asumir el pecado de los hijos de Judá: cuarenta días, un día por un año, lo tengo arreglado para ti.

And again, when thou have accomplished these, thou shall lie on thy right side, and shall bear the iniquity of the house of Judah forty days, each day for a year. I have appointed it to thee.

7 Y sea tu rostro hacia donde está sitiada Jerusalén, con tu brazo descubierto, y profetiza contra él.

And thou shall set thy face toward the siege of Jerusalem, with thine arm uncovered, and thou shall prophesy against it.

8 Y mira, te atare con cuerdas; y te quedarás sin voltearte de un lado a otro hasta que finalicen los días de tu sitio.

And, behold, I lay bands upon thee, and thou shall not turn thee from one side to the other, till thou have accomplished the days of thy siege.

9 Y toma para ti trigo, cebada y diferentes tipos de grano, y ponlos en un recipiente y haz de ellos pan para ti; Todos los días que estarás acostado de lado izquierdo será tu comida.

Also take thou to thee wheat, and barley, and beans, and lentils, and millet, and spelt, and put them in one vessel, and make thee bread of it, according to the number of the days that thou shall lie upon thy side, even three hundred and ninety days, thou shall eat of it.

10 Y debes tomar tu comida por peso, un cuarto de kilo por día: debes tomarla a horas regulares.

And thy food which thou shall eat shall be by weight, twenty shekels a day. Thou shall eat it from time to time.

11 Y debes tomar agua por medida, la sexta parte de un hin: debes tomarla a horas regulares.

And thou shall drink water by measure, the sixth part of a hin. Thou shall drink from time to time.

12 Y que tu comida se convierta en pasteles de cebada, cocinándolos, ante ellos, con estiércol humano.

And thou shall eat it as barley cakes, and thou shall bake it in their sight with dung that comes out of man.

13 Y el Señor dijo: Así, los hijos de Israel tendrán pan inmundo para su alimento entre las naciones a donde yo los voy a desterrar.

And Jehovah said, Even thus shall the sons of Israel eat their bread unclean among the nations where I will drive them.

14 Entonces dije: ¡Ah, Señor! mira, mi alma nunca ha sido inmunda, y nunca he tomado como mi alimento nada que haya llegado a una muerte natural o haya sido destruido por bestias, desde que era joven hasta ahora; ninguna carne asquerosa ha entrado en mi boca.

Then I said, Ah lord Jehovah! Behold, my soul has not been polluted. For from my youth up even till now I have not eaten of that which dies of itself, or is torn of beasts, neither has abominable flesh come into my mouth.

15 Entonces él me dijo: Mira, te permito que uses él estiércol de vaca en lugar de los desechos del hombre, para cocer tu pan.

Then he said to me, See, I have given thee cow's dung for man's dung, and thou shall prepare thy bread of it.

16 Y él me dijo: Hijo de hombre, mira, quitaré de Jerusalén la provisión de pan: tomarán su pan por ración, tomando su agua con temor y aflicción.

Moreover he said to me, Son of man, behold, I will break the staff of bread in Jerusalem, and they shall eat bread by weight, and with fearfulness, and they shall drink water by measure, and in dismay,

17 Para que al escasear el pan y agua y se aterren unos a otros, destruyéndose en su pecado.

that they may lack bread and water, and be dismayed one with another, and pine away in their iniquity.
