Ezequiel 32

1 Y aconteció en el año duodécimo, en el mes duodécimo, el primer día del mes, que la palabra del Señor vino a mí, diciendo:

And it happened that, in the twelfth year, in the twelfth month, on the first of the month, the word of the Lord came to me, saying:

2 Hijo del hombre, canta un canto de tristeza para el faraón, rey de Egipto, y dile: Joven león de las naciones, ha llegado la destrucción sobre ti; y tú eras como una bestia marina en el mar, enviando ráfagas de agua, enturbiando las aguas con tus pies, enturbiando sus arroyos.

“Son of man, take up a lamentation over Pharaoh, the king of Egypt, and you shall say to him: You are like the lion of the Gentiles, and like the dragon that is in the sea. And you brandished a horn among your rivers, and you disturbed the waters with your feet, and you trampled upon their rivers.

3 Esto es lo que ha dicho el Señor Dios: Mi red se extenderá sobre ti en compañía de mucha gente, y ellos te subirán en mi red.

Because of this, thus says the Lord God: I will spread my net over you, with the multitude of many peoples, and I will draw you into my dragnet.

4 Y dejaré que te extiendas sobre la tierra; Te echaré violentamente al campo abierto; Dejaré que todas las aves del cielo descansen sobre ti y haré que las bestias de toda la tierra se llenen de ti.

And I will throw you upon the land. I will cast you upon the surface of the field. And I will cause all the birds of the air to live upon you. And I will satiate the beasts of the entire earth with you.

5 Y pondré tu carne sobre los montes, y llenaré los valles de tu altura.

And I will place your flesh upon the mountains. And I will fill up your hills with your decaying flesh.

6 Y la tierra será regada con tu sangre, y los cursos de agua estarán llenos de ti.

And I will irrigate the earth with your rotting blood upon the mountains. And the valleys will be filled with you.

7 Y cuando yo extinga tu vida, el cielo se cubrirá y sus estrellas se oscurecerán; Dejaré que el sol se cubra con una nube y la luna no le dará luz.

And I will cover heaven, when you will have been extinguished. And I will cause its stars to grow dark. I will shroud the sun with gloom, and the moon will not give her light.

8 Todas las luces brillantes del cielo oscurecerán sobre ti, y pondré noche oscura en tu tierra, dice el Señor Dios.

I will cause all the lights of heaven to grieve over you. And I will bring darkness upon your land, says the Lord God, when your wounded will have fallen in the midst of the land, says the Lord God.

9 Y los corazones de los pueblos se turbarán cuando yo envíe destrucción entre las naciones, hasta países que no has conocido.

And I will provoke the heart of many peoples to anger, when I will have led in your destruction among the Gentiles, over the lands that you have not known.

10 Y haré que muchos pueblos se queden atónitos ante ti, y sus reyes se llenarán de temor por ti, cuando mi espada se agite ante ellos: estarán temblando cada minuto, cada hombre temiendo por su vida, en el día de tu caída.

And I will cause many peoples to be stupefied over you. And their kings will be afraid, with great horror, over you, when my sword will begin to fly above their faces. And suddenly, they will be struck with astonishment, each one concerning his own life, on the day of their ruination.

11 Porque esto es lo que ha dicho el Señor Dios: La espada del rey de Babilonia vendrá sobre ti.

For thus says the Lord God: The sword of the king of Babylon will come to you.

12 Dejaré que las espadas de los fuertes sean la causa de la caída de tu pueblo; todos ellos hombres crueles entre las naciones, y destruirán el orgullo de Egipto, y toda su gente será destruida.

By the swords of the strong, I will cast down your multitude. All these nations are invincible, and they will lay waste to the arrogance of Egypt, and so its multitude will be destroyed.

13 Y pondré fin a todas sus bestias que están junto a las muchas aguas, y nunca más serán molestadas por el pie del hombre o por las pezuñas de las bestias.

And I will perish all its cattle, which were above the many waters. And the foot of man will no longer disturb them, and the hoof of cattle will no longer trouble them.

14 Entonces aclararé sus aguas y sus ríos fluirán como aceite, dice el Señor Dios.

Then I will cause their waters to be very pure, and their rivers to be like oil, says the Lord God,

15 Cuando yo haga de Egipto una ruina, despojándolo de la tierra de todas las cosas que contiene; cuando envíe castigo a todos los que viven en ella, les quedará claro que yo soy Dios.

when I will have set the land of Egypt in desolation. And the land will be deprived of her plenitude, when I will have struck all its inhabitants. And they shall know that I am the Lord.

16 Es un canto de dolor, y la gente lo cantará, las hijas de las naciones lo cantarán, incluso por Egipto y todo su pueblo, dice el Señor Dios.

This is the lamentation. And they shall lament it. The daughters of the Gentiles shall lament it. They shall lament it over Egypt and over its multitude, says the Lord God.”

17 Y en el año duodécimo, a los quince días del mes, vino a mí la palabra del Señor, diciendo:

And it happened that, in the twelfth year, on the fifteenth of the month, the word of the Lord came to me saying:

18 Hijo de hombre, que tu voz sea fuerte en el dolor por la multitud de Egipto y hazlos descender, a ella y las hijas de las naciones poderosas; Los enviaré a las partes más bajas de la tierra, con los que descienden al inframundo.

“Son of man, sing mournfully over the multitude of Egypt. And cast her down, both her and the daughters of the robust nations, to the lowest part of the earth, with those who descend into the pit.

19 ¿Eres más bella que ninguna? desciende y descansa entre los que no tienen circuncisión,

Whom do you exceed in beauty? Descend and sleep with the uncircumcised!

20 Entre los que han sido puestos a la espada ellos caerán; a la espada es entregada, la sacaron con toda la multitud.

They will fall by the sword in the midst of the slain. The sword has been given. They have dragged her down, with all her people.

21 Los fuertes entre los poderosos le dirán desde él medio del Seol; desciende, tú y tus ayudantes, y descansa entre los que no tienen circuncisión. (Sheol h7585)

The most powerful among the strong will speak to him from the midst of hell, those who descended with his helpers and who went to sleep uncircumcised, slain by the sword. (Sheol h7585)

22 Allí está Asiria y todo su ejército, alrededor de su tumba; todos ellos muertos por la espada.

Assur is in that place, with all his multitude. Their graves are all around him: all of the slain and those who fell by the sword.

23 Cuyos tumbas se encuentran en los partes más profundas de la fosa, y está rodeada de toda su multitud, todos ellos muertos a espada, que fueron causa de temor en la tierra de los vivos.

Their graves have been placed in the lowest parts of the pit. And his multitude was stationed on all sides of his grave: all of the slain, and those who fell by the sword, who formerly spread terror in the land of the living.

24 Están Elam y toda su gente, alrededor de su tumba; todos ellos muertos por la espada, que han descendido sin circuncisión a las partes más bajas de la tierra, que fueron causa de temor en la tierra de los vivos, y llevarán su vergüenza con los que descienden al pozo.

Elam is in that place, with all his multitude, on all sides of his grave, all those who were slain or who fell by the sword, who descended uncircumcised to the lowest part of the earth, who caused their terror in the land of the living. And they have borne their disgrace, with those who descend into the pit.

25 Le han hecho una cama entre los muertos, y toda su gente está alrededor de su tumba; todos ellos sin la circuncisión, muertos con la espada; porque fueron causa de temor en la tierra de los vivos, y llevan su vergüenza con los que descienden al inframundo; se les ha dado un lugar entre los muertos.

They have appointed him a place to lie among all his people, in the midst of the slain. Their graves are all around him. All these are uncircumcised and were slain by the sword. For they spread their terror in the land of the living, and they have borne their disgrace, with those who descend into the pit. They have been stationed in the midst of the slain.

26 Allí están Mesec, Tubal y toda su gente alrededor de su tumba; todos ellos sin circuncisión, muertos por la espada; porque eran causa de temor en la tierra de los vivos.

Meshech and Tubal are in that place, with all their multitude. Their graves are all around him: all these are uncircumcised, and they were slain and fell by the sword. For they spread their terror in the land of the living.

27 Pero no yacen junto a los valientes caídos, de entre los incircuncisos que llegaron a su fin, que bajaron al inframundo con sus instrumentos de guerra, colocando sus espadas debajo de sus cabezas, pero sus iniquidades estarán sobre sus huesos; porque fueron causa de temor en los valientes en la tierra de los vivos. (Sheol h7585)

But they shall not sleep with the strong, and with those who also fell uncircumcised, who descended to hell with their weapons, and who placed their swords under their heads, while their iniquities were in their bones. For they were the terror of the strong in the land of the living. (Sheol h7585)

28 Pero serás quebrantado entre los que no tienen circuncisión, y tendrás tu tumba con los que han muerto con la espada.

Therefore, you also will be broken in the midst of the uncircumcised, and you will sleep with those who were slain by the sword.

29 Está Edom, sus reyes y todos sus príncipes, quienes son sepultados con los que fueron sometidos a la espada; descansan entre los que no han sido circuncidados, con los que descienden al inframundo.

Idumea is in that place, with her kings and all her commanders, who with their army have been given to those who were slain by the sword. And they have slept with the uncircumcised and with those who descend into the pit.

30 Hay todos los jefes del norte, todos ellos, y todos los sidonios, que a pesar del terror causado por su poderío, han caído con los que han sido muertos a la espada; son avergonzados por todo el miedo causado por su fuerza; descansan allí sin circuncisión, entre los que han sido sometidos a la espada, y son avergonzados con los que descienden a la fosa.

All the leaders of the north are in that place, with all the hunters, who were brought down with the slain, fearful and confounded in their strength, who have gone to sleep uncircumcised, with those who were slain by the sword. And they have borne their disgrace, with those who descend into the pit.

31 Faraón los verá y lamentará a causa de todo su pueblo; incluso el Faraón y todo su ejército, muerto por la espada, dice el Señor Dios.

Pharaoh saw them, and he was consoled over all his multitude, which was slain by the sword, even Pharaoh and all his army, says the Lord God.

32 Porque yo infundí el terror de Faraón en la tierra de los vivos, y yacerá entre los que no tienen circuncisión, y los que han sido muertos con la espada, incluso el Faraón y todo su pueblo, dice el Señor Dios.

For I have spread my terror in the land of the living, and he has gone to sleep in the midst of the uncircumcised, with those who were slain by the sword, even Pharaoh and all his multitude, says the Lord God.”
