Ezequiel 27
1 Volvió a mí la palabra del Señor, diciendo:
The word of Jehovah came again to me, saying:
2 Y tú, hijo de hombre, canta canto de luto por Tiro;
Son of man, take up a lamentation over Tyre,
3 Y di a Tiro, oh tú que estás sentado a la puerta del mar, negociando con los pueblos por las grandes costas, estas son las palabras del Señor: Tú, oh Tiro, has dicho: Yo soy Un barco completamente hermoso.
and say to Tyre, O thou that didst dwell at the entrance of the sea, the merchant of the nations to many coasts! thus saith the Lord Jehovah: O Tyre, thou hast said, “I am perfect in beauty.”
4 Tus límites están en el corazón de los mares, tus constructores te han hecho completamente hermoso.
Thy borders are in the midst of the seas; thy builders have perfected thy beauty.
5 Han hecho todo tu armazón de cipreses de Senir; han tomado cedros del Líbano para hacer los mástiles para tus velas.
They made all thy ship-boards of cypresses of Senir; they took cedars from Lebanon to make masts for thee.
6 De los robles de Basán han hecho tus remos; han hecho tus bancos de marfil y tu cubierta de las costas de Kittim.
Of oaks of Bashan they made thine oars; thy benches they made of ivory inlaid in cedar from the coasts of the Chittaeans.
7 El mejor lino con costura de Egipto fue tu vela, estirada para ser una bandera para ti. El azul y el púrpura de las costas de Elisa era tu pabellón.
Fine linen with broidered work from Egypt was that which thou didst spread forth to be thy sail; blue and purple from the coasts of Elisha were thy covering.
8 La gente de Sidón y Arvad eran tus remeros; tus sabios, estaban en ti; eran los pilotos de tus barcos;
The inhabitants of Zidon and Arvad were thy rowers; thy wise men, O Tyre, that were in thee, were thy pilots.
9 Los hombres responsables de Gebal y sus sabios estaban en ti, haciendo tus tablas impermeables: todos los barcos del mar con sus marineros estaban en ti intercambiando tus bienes.
The ancients of Gebal and the skilful men thereof were in thee, thy calkers; all the ships of the sea, with their mariners, were in thee, to traffic in thy merchandise.
10 De Persia, Lidia y Libia estaban en tu ejército, tus hombres de guerra, colgando en ti los abrigos y los atuendos de guerra; te dieron tu gloria.
Persians, and Lydians, and Lybians were in thine army, thy men of war; they hung up the shield and helmet in thee; they set forth thy glory.
11 Los hombres de Arvad en tu ejército estaban en tus muros, y eran vigilantes en tus torres, colgando sus escudos en tus muros alrededor; te hicieron completamente hermosa.
The men of Arvad and thine own army were upon thy walls round about, and brave warriors were in thy towers; they hung their shields upon thy walls round about; they made thy beauty perfect.
12 Tarsis hizo negocios contigo debido a la gran cantidad de tu riqueza; Dieron plata, hierro, estaño y plomo a cambio de sus bienes.
Tarshish trafficked with thee on account of the abundance of all kinds of goods; with silver, iron, tin, and lead they traded in thy fairs.
13 Javan, Tubal y Mesec fueron tus comerciantes; Dieron hombres vivos y vasijas de bronce para sus pagos.
Javan, Tubal, and Meshech trafficked with thee; the persons of men and vessels of brass they sold in thy market.
14 La gente de Togarma dio caballos y caballos de guerra y animales de transporte por pagos.
They of the house of Togarmah traded in thy fairs with horses and horsemen and mules.
15 Los hombres de Rodan eran sus comerciantes; una gran cantidad de tierras marinas hicieron negocios con ustedes; les dieron como pago cuernos de marfil y ébano.
The men of Dedan trafficked with thee; many islands were at hand to thee for trade; they brought thee, for payment, horns of ivory, and ebony-wood.
16 Edom hizo negocios contigo por la gran cantidad de cosas que hiciste; dieron a cambio esmeraldas, púrpura y costura, y el mejor lino y coral y rubíes para sus bienes.
Syria trafficked with thee by reason of the multitude of the wares of thy making; with carbuncles, purple and embroidered work, and fine linen, and corals, and rubies, they traded in thy fairs.
17 Judá y la tierra de Israel fueron tus mercaderes; Te dieron a cambio grano de Minit y pasteles dulces y miel, aceite y perfume para sus productos.
Judah and the land of Israel trafficked with thee; with wheat of Minnith, and pastry, and syrup, and oil, and balm they traded in thy market.
18 Damasco hizo negocios contigo debido a la gran cantidad de tu riqueza, con vino de Helbón y lana blanca.
Damascus trafficked with thee on account of the multitude of the wares of thy making, on account of the abundance of all kinds of goods, in the wine of Helbon, and in white wool.
19 Vedan y Javan, por sus bienes: dieron hierro pulido y especias a cambio de tus mercancías.
Vedan and Javan brought thread to thy market; wrought iron, cassia, and sweet reed were in thy fairs.
20 Dedan hacía comercio con telas para las espaldas de los caballos.
Dedan brought cloth for riding, in traffic with thee.
21 Arabia y todos los gobernantes de Cedar hicieron negocios contigo; Te pagaban con corderos, ovejas y cabras.
Arabia and all the princes of Kedar were at hand to traffic with thee; they traded with thee in lambs and rams and goats.
22 Los mercaderes de Sabá y Raama hicieron negocios contigo; Dieron a tus ferias con lo mejor de todo tipo de especias y todo tipo de piedras de gran precio y oro para sus productos.
The merchants of Sheba and Raamah trafficked with thee with all kinds of precious spices, and with all kinds of precious stones, and gold.
23 Haran, Cane y Eden, los comerciantes de Asiría y toda Media:
Haran, and Canneh, and Eden, the merchants of Sheba, Assyria, and Chilmad,
24 Estos eran tus comerciantes con hermosas túnicas, en rollos de azul y costura, y en cofres de tela de colores, atados con cuerdas y hechos de madera de cedro, en ellos se comerciaban contigo.
trafficked with thee in splendid apparel, in mantles of blue and embroidered work, in chests of damask bound with cords and made of cedar, in thy market.
25 Las naves Tarsis eran los portadores, hicieron negocios de tus bienes; y fueron repletos, y grande fue su gloria en el corazón de los mares.
The ships of Tarshish were the caravans for thy traffic; and thou wast replenished and made very glorious in the midst of the seas.
26 Tus barqueros te han llevado a grandes aguas; pero fueron destrozados por el viento en él este, en el corazón de los mares.
Thy rowers have brought thee into great waters; the east wind hath broken thee in the midst of the seas.
27 Tu riqueza y tus bienes, las cosas con las que comercian, tus marineros y los que guían tus barcos, los que hacen que sus tablas sean impermeables, y los que hacen negocios con sus productos, y todos tus hombres de guerra que son en ti, con todos los que se han reunido en ti, descenderá al corazón de los mares en el día de tu caída.
Thy riches, and thy fairs, and thy merchandise, thy mariners, and thy pilots, thy calkers, and the traders in thy merchandise, and all thy men of war within thee, and all thy multitude that is in the midst of thee, shall fall into the midst of the seas in the day of thy ruin.
28 Al oír el grito de los guías de sus barcos, las tablas del barco temblarán.
At the sound of the cry of thy pilots the pastures around thee shall shake.
29 Y todos los barqueros, los marineros y los expertos en guiar un barco a través del mar, bajarán de sus barcos y ocuparán sus lugares en la tierra;
And all that handle the oar, the mariners, and all the pilots of the sea, shall come down from their ships; they shall stand upon the land,
30 Y sus voces sonarán sobre ti, y llorando amargamente, pondrán polvo en sus cabezas, rodando en el polvo:
and shall cause their voice to be heard for thee, and shall cry bitterly, and shall cast dust upon their heads, and roll themselves in ashes.
31 Y se raparan la cabeza por causa de ti, y se vestirán de cilicio, llorando por ti con un dolor amargo en sus corazones, incluso con un amargo duelo.
And they shall make themselves utterly bald for thee, and gird themselves with sackcloth; and they shall weep for thee with bitterness of heart and bitter wailing.
32 Y en su llanto te harán una canción de dolor, te lamentarán y te dirán: ¿Quién es como Tiro, quién ha llegado a su fin en las profundidades del mar?
And in their wailing they shall take up for thee a lamentation, and shall lament over thee, saying: “What city is like Tyre, like the Destroyed in the midst of the sea?
33 Cuando tus bienes salieron sobre los mares, hiciste muchos pueblos llenos; La riqueza de los reyes de la tierra se incrementó con tu gran riqueza y todos tus bienes.
When thy wares went forth from the seas, thou didst satisfy many nations; thou didst enrich the kings of the earth with the abundance of thy riches and thy merchandise.
34 Ahora que estás destrozado por los mares en las aguas profundas, tus bienes y toda tu gente descenderán contigo.
Now thou art broken by the seas in the depth of the waters, and thy merchandise and all thy multitude in the midst of thee are fallen.
35 Todas las personas de las costas se sorprenden ante ti, y sus reyes están llenos de miedo, sus caras están preocupadas.
All the inhabitants of the isles are astonished at thee, and their kings shudder; they are troubled in their countenance.
36 Aquellos que hacen negocios entre la gente te silban sorprendidos; Te has convertido en una cosa de miedo, has llegado a un fin para siempre.
The merchants among the nations hiss at thee. Thou art a desolation, and shalt exist no more forever.”
