Ezequiel 11

1 Y el Espíritu, me levanto, me llevó a la puerta este de la casa del Señor, mirando hacia el este; y a la puerta vi veinticinco hombres; y entre ellos vi a Jaazanías, hijo de Azur, y a Pelatías, hijo de Benaía, gobernantes del pueblo.

Then a spirit lifted me up, and brought me unto the east gate of the LORD'S house, which looketh eastward; and behold at the door of the gate five and twenty men; and I saw in the midst of them Jaazaniah the son of Azzur, and Pelatiah the son of Benaiah, princes of the people.

2 Entonces me dijo: Hijo de hombre, estos son los hombres que están planeando el mal, que están enseñando los caminos del mal en este pueblo;

And He said unto me: 'Son of man, these are the men that devise iniquity, and that give wicked counsel in this city;

3 Quienes dicen: no será tan pronto: Este es el momento para construir casas: esta ciudad es la olla y nosotros somos la carne.

that say: The time is not near to build houses! this city is the caldron, and we are the flesh.

4 Por esta causa profetiza contra ellos, profetiza, hijo de hombre.

Therefore prophesy against them, prophesy, O son of man.'

5 Y vino sobre mí el espíritu del Señor, y él me dijo: Di: Estas son las palabras del Señor: Esto es lo que has dicho, oh hijos de Israel; Lo que viene a tu mente está claro para mí.

And the spirit of the LORD fell upon me, and He said unto me: 'Speak: Thus saith the LORD: Thus have ye said, O house of Israel; for I know the things that come into your mind.

6 Has engrandecido el número de tus muertos en esta ciudad, has llenado sus calles de muertos.

Ye have multiplied your slain in this city, and ye have filled the streets thereof with the slain.

7 Por esta razón, el Señor ha dicho: Tus muertos, a los que has echado en sus calles, son la carne, y esta ciudad es la olla para cocinar: pero te haré salir de dentro.

Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD: Your slain whom ye have laid in the midst of it, they are the flesh, and this city is the caldron; but ye shall be brought forth out of the midst of it.

8 Has estado temiendo la espada, y yo te enviaré la espada, dice el Señor.

Ye have feared the sword; and the sword will I bring upon you, saith the Lord GOD.

9 Te haré salir de dentro del pueblo y te entregaré en manos de hombres extranjeros, y seré juez entre ustedes.

And I will bring you forth out of the midst thereof, and deliver you into the hands of strangers, and will execute judgments among you.

10 Vendrás a tu muerte por la espada; y yo seré tu juez en la tierra de Israel; y sabras de que yo soy el Señor.

Ye shall fall by the sword: I will judge you upon the border of Israel; and ye shall know that I am the LORD.

11 Este pueblo no será tu olla de cocina, y tú no serás la carne en su interior; Seré tu juez en el límite de la tierra de Israel;

Though this city shall not be your caldron, ye shall be the flesh in the midst thereof; I will judge you upon the border of Israel;

12 Y reconocerán que Yo soy el Señor, porque no han sido guiados por mis reglas ni dado mis órdenes, sino que has estado siguiendo las órdenes de las naciones que te rodean.

and ye shall know that I am the LORD; for ye have not walked in My statutes, neither have ye executed Mine ordinances, but have done after the ordinances of the nations that are round about you.'

13 Ahora, mientras decía estas cosas, la muerte llegó a Pelatias, el hijo de Benaias. Luego, cayendo sobre mi cara y gritando a gran voz, dije: ¡Ah, Señor! ¿Pondrás fin a todo el resto de Israel?

And it came to pass, when I prophesied, that Pelatiah the son of Benaiah died. Then fell I down upon my face, and cried with a loud voice, and said: 'Ah Lord GOD! wilt Thou make a full end of the remnant of Israel?'

14 Y vino a mí la palabra del Señor, diciendo:

And the word of the LORD came unto me, saying:

15 Hijo del hombre, tus compatriotas, tus hermanos y todos los hijos de Israel, todos ellos, son aquellos quienes habitan en el pueblo de Jerusalén han dicho: Aléjate del Señor; Esta tierra nos es dada por un patrimonio.

'Son of man, as for thy brethren, even thy brethren, the men of thy kindred, and all the house of Israel, all of them, concerning whom the inhabitants of Jerusalem have said: Get you far from the LORD! unto us is this land given for a possession;

16 Por esta razón, diles: Esto es lo que ha dicho el Señor Dios: Aunque los he alejado de las naciones, y aunque los he enviado a vagar entre los países, todavía he sido un santuario por poco tiempo para ellos en los países donde han ido.

therefore say: Thus saith the Lord GOD: Although I have removed them far off among the nations, and although I have scattered them among the countries, yet have I been to them as a little sanctuary in the countries where they are come;

17 Luego diga: Esto es lo que el Señor Dios ha dicho: los reuniré de entre los pueblos y los haré salir de los países a donde fueron dispersados, y les daré la tierra de Israel.

therefore say: Thus saith the Lord GOD: I will even gather you from the peoples, and assemble you out of the countries where ye have been scattered, and I will give you the land of Israel.

18 Y vendrán allí, y quitarán de ella todas las cosas odiadas y repugnantes.

And they shall come thither, and they shall take away all the detestable things thereof and all the abominations thereof from thence.

19 Y les daré un nuevo corazón, y pondré un nuevo espíritu en ellos; y sacaré de su carne el corazón de piedra y les daré un corazón de carne.

And I will give them one heart, and I will put a new spirit within you; and I will remove the stony heart out of their flesh, and will give them a heart of flesh;

20 Para que sean guiados por mis reglas, guarden mis órdenes y las cumplan; y serán para mí un pueblo, y yo seré para ellos un Dios.

that they may walk in My statutes, and keep Mine ordinances, and do them; and they shall be My people, and I will be their God.

21 Pero en cuanto a aquellos cuyo corazón persigue sus cosas odiadas y repugnantes, enviaré sobre sus cabezas el castigo de sus acciones, dice el Señor.

But as for them whose heart walketh after the heart of their detestable things and their abominations, I will bring their way upon their own heads, saith the Lord GOD.'

22 Entonces se alzaron las alas de los querubines, y las ruedas los siguieron; y la gloria del Dios de Israel estaba sobre ellos en lo alto.

Then did the cherubim lift up their wings, and the wheels were beside them; and the glory of the God of Israel was over them above.

23 Y la gloria del Señor subió desde el interior de la ciudad, y se posó sobre la montaña en el lado este de la ciudad.

And the glory of the LORD went up from the midst of the city, and stood upon the mountain which is on the east side of the city.

24 Y él Espíritu, alzándome, me llevó en las visiones de Dios a Babilonia, a los que habían sido llevados como prisioneros. Así que la visión que había visto se fue de mí.

And a spirit lifted me up, and brought me in the vision by the spirit of God into Chaldea, to them of the captivity. So the vision that I had seen went up from Me.

25 Entonces les di cuenta a los que habían sido tomados prisioneros de todas las cosas que el Señor me había hecho ver.

Then I spoke unto them of the captivity all the things that the LORD had shown me.
