Éxodo 7
1 Y él Señor dijo a Moisés: Mira, yo te he puesto por dios a Faraón, y tu hermano Aarón será tu profeta.
And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying, Behold, I have made you a god to Pharao, and Aaron your brother shall be your prophet.
2 Di todo lo que te ordene que digas: y tu hermano Aarón dará palabra a Faraón para que los hijos de Israel salgan de su tierra.
And you shall say to him all things that I charge you, and Aaron your brother shall speak to Pharao, that he should send forth the children of Israel out of his land.
3 Y haré arder el corazón de Faraón, y mis señales y maravillas aumentarán en la tierra de Egipto.
And I will harden the heart of Pharao, and I will multiply my signs and wonders in the land of Egypt.
4 Pero Faraón no los escuchará, y pondré mi mano sobre Egipto y sacaré a mis ejércitos, a mi pueblo, a los hijos de Israel, de Egipto, después de grandes castigos.
And Pharao will not listen to you, and I will lay my hand upon Egypt; and will bring out my people the children of Israel with my power out of the land of Egypt with great vengeance.
5 Y los egipcios verán que yo soy el Señor, cuando mi mano se extienda sobre Egipto, y saque a los hijos de Israel de entre ellos.
And all the Egyptians shall know that I am the Lord, stretching out my hand upon Egypt, and I will bring out the children of Israel out of the midst of them.
6 Y Moisés y Aarón lo hicieron así como el Señor les dio órdenes, así lo hicieron.
And Moses and Aaron did as the Lord commanded them, so did they.
7 Y Moisés tenía ochenta años, y Aarón ochenta y tres años, cuando dieron la palabra del Señor a Faraón.
And Moses was eighty years old, and Aaron his brother was eighty-three years old, when he spoke to Pharao.
8 Y el Señor dijo a Moisés y Aarón,
And the Lord spoke to Moses and Aaron, saying,
9 Si Faraón te dice: “Déjame ver una maravilla”, entonces dile a Aarón: Toma tu vara y ponla en la tierra delante de Faraón para que se convierta en serpiente.
Now if Pharao should speak to you, saying, Give us a sign or a wonder, then shall you say to your brother Aaron, Take your rod and cast it upon the ground before Pharao, and before his servants, and it shall become a serpent.
10 Entonces Moisés y Aarón fueron a Faraón e hicieron como el Señor había dicho: y Aarón posó su vara sobre el suelo delante de Faraón y sus siervos, y se hizo serpiente.
And Moses and Aaron went in before Pharao, and [before] his servants, and they did so, as the Lord commanded them; and Aaron cast down his rod before Pharao, and before his servants, and it became a serpent.
11 Entonces Faraón envió a los hombres sabios y los magos, y ellos, los magos de Egipto, hicieron lo mismo con sus artes secretas.
But Pharao called together the wise men of Egypt, and the sorcerers, and the charmers also of the Egyptians did likewise with their sorceries.
12 Porque cada uno de ellos bajó su vara sobre la tierra, y se convirtieron en serpientes; pero la vara de Aarón se tragó las varas de ellos.
And they cast down each his rod, and they became serpents, but the rod of Aaron swallowed up their rods.
13 Pero el corazón de Faraón se endureció, y no los escuchó, como el Señor había dicho.
and the heart of Pharao was hardened, and he listened not to them, as the Lord charged them.
14 Y el SEÑOR dijo a Moisés y Aarón: El corazón de Faraón no ha cambiado; él no dejará ir a la gente.
and the Lord said to Moses, The heart of Pharao is made hard, so that he should not let the people go.
15 Ve a Faraón por la mañana; cuando salga al agua, lo estarás esperando al borde del Nilo, con la vara que se convirtió en una serpiente en tu mano;
Go to Pharao early in the morning: behold, he goes forth to the water; and you shall meet him on the bank of the river, and you shall take in your hand the rod that was turned into a serpent.
16 Y dile: el Señor, el Dios de los hebreos, me ha enviado a ti, diciendo: Deja ir a mi pueblo, para que me den culto en el desierto; pero hasta ahora no has escuchado sus palabras.
And you shall say to him, The Lord God of the Hebrews has sent me to you, saying, Send my people away, that they may serve me in the wilderness, and, behold, hitherto you have not listened.
17 Entonces el Señor dice: En esto puedes estar seguro de que yo soy el Señor; mira, con el toque de esta vara en mi mano, las aguas del Nilo se volverán sangre;
These things says the Lord: Hereby shall you know that I am the Lord: behold, I strike with the rod that is in my hand on the water which is in the river, and it shall change it into blood.
18 Y los peces en el Nilo vendrán a la destrucción, y el río arrojará un mal olor, y los egipcios no podrán, por disgusto, hacer uso del agua del Nilo para beber.
And the fish that are in the river shall die, and the river shall stink thereupon, and the Egyptians shall not be able to drink water from the river.
19 Y el SEÑOR dijo: Di a Aarón: Extiende la vara que tienes en la mano sobre las aguas de Egipto, sobre los ríos, arroyos, y sobre toda extensión de aguas, para que se conviertan a sangre; y habrá sangre por toda la tierra de Egipto, en vasos de madera y en vasos de piedra.
And the Lord said to Moses, Say to your brother Aaron, Take your rod in your hand, and stretch forth your hand over the waters of Egypt, and over their rivers, and over their canals, and over their ponds, and over all their standing water, and it shall become blood: and there was blood in all the land of Egypt, both in vessels of wood and of stone.
20 Y Moisés y Aarón hicieron como Él Señor lo había dicho; y cuando su vara se alzó y se extendió sobre las aguas del Nilo ante los ojos de Faraón y sus siervos, toda el agua en el Nilo se convirtió en sangre;
and Moses and Aaron did so, as the Lord commanded them; and [Aaron] having lifted up [his hand] with his rod, struck the water in the river before Pharao, and before his servants, and changed all the water in the river into blood.
21 Y los peces en el Nilo llegaron a ser destruidos, y salió un mal olor del río, y los egipcios no pudieron usar el agua del Nilo para beber; y hubo sangre en toda la tierra de Egipto.
And the fish in the river died, and the river stank thereupon; and the Egyptians could not drink water from the river, and the blood was in all the land of Egypt.
22 Y las magos de Egipto hicieron lo mismo con sus artes secretas; pero el corazón de Faraón se endureció, y no los escuchó, como el Señor había dicho.
And the charmers also of the Egyptians did so with their sorceries; and the heart of Pharao was hardened, and he did not listen to them, even as the Lord said.
23 Entonces Faraón entró en su casa, y no se tomó esto en serio.
And Pharao turned and entered into his house, nor did he fix his attention even on this thing.
24 Y todos los egipcios hicieron agujeros alrededor del Nilo para obtener agua potable, porque no podían usar el agua del Nilo.
And all the Egyptians dug round about the river, so as to drink water, for they could not drink water from the river.
25 Y pasaron siete días, después que el Señor puso su mano en el Nilo.
and seven days were fulfilled after the Lord has struck the river.
