Éxodo 40
1 Y él Señor dijo a Moisés:
And the Lord spoke unto Moses, saying,
2 El primer día del primer mes debes colocar el santuario de la Tienda de reunión.
On the first day of the first month shalt thou set up the tabernacle of the tent of the congregation.
3 Y en su interior pon el cofre del pacto, colgando el velo delante de ella.
And thou shalt put therein the ark of the testimony, and separate the ark with the vail.
4 Y pon la mesa dentro, colocando todas las cosas en orden; y pongan el candelabro, y coloca al candelabro sus lámparas.
And thou shalt bring in the table, and arrange the order of the showbread upon it; and thou shalt bring in the candlestick, and light the lamps thereof.
5 Y pon el altar de oro para él incienso delante del cofre del pacto, y cuelga la cortina sobre la entrada del santuario.
And thou shalt set the altar of gold for the incense before the ark of the testimony; and thou shalt put up the hanging at the door to the tabernacle.
6 Y pondrás el altar de las ofrendas quemadas delante de la puerta de la Tienda de reunión.
And thou shalt set the altar of burnt-offering before the door of the tabernacle of the tent of the congregation.
7 Y que el vaso para lavatorio, con agua en él, se ponga entre la Tienda de reunión y el altar.
And thou shalt set the laver between the tabernacle of the congregation and the altar, and thou shalt put water therein.
8 Y pon las cortinas que forman el atrio alrededor de ella, con la cortina sobre su entrada.
And thou shalt set up the court round about, and put up the hanging at the gate of the court.
9 Y toma el aceite santo, y ungirás el tabernáculo todo lo que hay en él, y ungirás todos los utensilios; porque lo que está en él es santo;
And thou shalt take the anointing oil, and anoint the tabernacle, and all that is therein; and thou shalt hallow it, with all its vessels, and it shall be holy.
10 Y ungirás como aceite el altar de la ofrenda quemada, y lo santificarás con todos sus vasos; este altar debe ser santísimo.
And thou shalt anoint the altar of burnt-offering, and all its vessels; and thou shalt sanctify the altar, and the altar shall be most holy.
11 Y ungirás la vasija de lavar y su base, y santifícalos.
And thou shalt anoint the laver with its foot, and sanctify it.
12 Entonces Aarón y sus hijos vayan a la puerta de la Tienda de reunión; y después de lavarlos con agua,
And thou shalt bring near Aaron and his sons unto the door of the tabernacle of the congregation, and wash them with water.
13 Debes vestir a Aarón con las vestiduras sagradas; y lo ungirás con aceite, y lo santificarás, para que sea mi sacerdote.
And thou shalt clothe Aaron with the holy garments; and thou shalt anoint him, and sanctify him, that he may be a priest unto me.
14 Y lleven sus hijos con él, y vístanlos con las túnicas;
And his sons shalt thou bring near, and clothe them with coats:
15 Y y los ungirás con aceite como lo hiciste con su padre, para que sean mis sacerdotes; con la unción del aceite los convertirás en sacerdotes para siempre, de generación en generación.
And thou shalt anoint them, as thou hast anointed their father, that they may be priests unto me; and this shall be, that their anointing shall be unto them for an everlasting priesthood throughout their generations.
16 Y Moisés hizo esto; como el Señor le dio órdenes, así lo hizo.
And Moses did so; all, just as the Lord had commanded him, so did he.
17 Así que en el primer día del primer mes en el segundo año el santuario fue levantado.
And it came to pass in the first month in the second year, on the first of the month, that the tabernacle was reared up.
18 Moisés levantó el santuario; colocando sus bases en posición y levantando sus montantes, colocando las varillas y plantando los pilares en su lugar;
And Moses reared up the tabernacle, and placed its sockets, and set up its boards, and put in its bars, and reared up its pillars.
19 Extendiendo la tienda exterior sobre ella, y cubriéndola, como el Señor le había dado órdenes.
And he spread the tent over the tabernacle, and put the covering of the tent over it above; as the Lord had commanded Moses.
20 Y él tomó la ley y la puso dentro del arca, y puso las varas a su lado y la cubierta sobre ella;
And he took and put the testimony into the ark, and placed the staves on the ark; and he put the mercy-seat upon the ark above.
21 Y llevó el cofre del pacto al santuario, colgando el velo delante de él, como el Señor le había dado órdenes.
And he brought the ark into the tabernacle, and set up the vail of the separation, and made therewith a separation for the ark of the testimony; as the Lord had commanded Moses.
22 Y él puso la mesa en la Tienda de reunión, en el lado norte fuera del velo.
And he put the table in the tabernacle of the congregation, upon the side of the tabernacle, northward, without the vail.
23 Y puso el pan delante del Señor, como él Señor lo había dicho.
And he arranged upon it the order of bread before the Lord; as the Lord had commanded Moses.
24 El candelabro lo puso en la Tienda de reunión, frente a la mesa, en el lado sur:
And he placed the candlestick in the tabernacle of the congregation, opposite the table, on the side of the tabernacle, southward.
25 Encendiendo las luces delante del Señor, como el Señor le había dado órdenes.
And he lighted the lamps before the Lord; as the Lord had commanded Moses.
26 Y puso el altar de oro en la Tienda de reunión, delante del velo:
And he placed the golden altar in the tabernacle of the congregation before the vail.
27 Y quemó sobre él el incienso aromático, como el Señor le había dado órdenes.
And he burnt thereon the incense of spices; as the Lord had commanded Moses.
28 Y él puso la cortina en la puerta del santuario.
And he put up the hanging at the door to the tabernacle.
29 Y a la puerta del santuario de la Tienda de reunión, él puso el altar de las ofrendas quemadas, ofreciendo en él las ofrendas quemadas y las ofrendas de cereales, como el Señor le había dado las órdenes.
And the altar of burnt-offering he placed by the door of the tabernacle of the tent of the congregation; and he offered upon it the burnt-offering and the meat-offering; as the Lord had commanded Moses.
30 Y entre el altar y la Tienda de reunión, puso el recipiente con agua para lavar.
And he set the laver between the tabernacle of the congregation and the altar, and put water there, for washing.
31 En él se lavaron las manos y los pies de Moisés, Aarón y sus hijos,
And Moses and Aaron and his sons washed therefrom their hands and their feet.
32 Cada vez que entraban en la Tienda de reunión, y cuando se acercaban al altar, como el Señor le había dado órdenes a Moisés.
When they went in unto the tabernacle of the congregation, and when they came near unto the altar, they washed themselves; as the Lord had commanded Moses.
33 Y él puso las cortinas que forman el atrio alrededor del santuario y el altar, y puso la cortina sobre la entrada. Entonces Moisés hizo el trabajo completo.
And he reared up the court round about the tabernacle and the altar, and put up the hanging of the gate of the court; and so did Moses finish the work.
34 Entonces la nube descendió y cubrió la tienda de reunión, y la casa estaba llena de la gloria del Señor;
And the cloud covered the tent of the congregation, and the glory of the Lord filled the tabernacle.
35 De modo que Moisés no pudo entrar en la Tienda de reunión, porque la nube descansaba sobre ella, porque él santuario estaba lleno de la gloria del Señor.
And Moses was not able to enter into the tent of the congregation; because the cloud abode thereon, and the glory of the Lord filled the tabernacle.
36 Y cuando la nube se levantaba de la Casa, los hijos de Israel continuaban su viaje:
And when the cloud was taken up from over the tabernacle, the children of Israel were wont to go onward in all their journeyings.
37 Pero mientras la nube estaba allí, no hicieron ningún movimiento hasta que la nube se levantaba, tampoco ellos levantaban su campamento.
But if the cloud was not taken up, then they journeyed not till the day that is was taken up.
38 Porque la nube del Señor estaba descansando en él santuario de día, y en la noche había fuego en la nube, ante los ojos de todo el pueblo de Israel, y así fue en todos sus viajes.
For the cloud of the Lord was upon the tabernacle by day, and a fire was by night on it, before the eyes of all the house of Israel, throughout all their journeyings.
