Éxodo 35
1 Y Moisés envió a todos los hijos de Israel a que se unieran, y les dijo: Esto es lo que el Señor ha dicho y estas son sus órdenes.
Moses/I gathered all the Israeli people together and said to them, “This is what Yahweh has commanded you to do:
2 Seis días se trabajará, pero el séptimo día es un día santo para ustedes, un día de reposo para el Señor; cualquiera que haga algún trabajo en ese día será condenado a muerte.
[Each week] you may work for six days, but on the seventh day you must rest. It is a sacred day, dedicated to Yahweh. Anyone who does any work on the seventh day must be executed.
3 No se encenderá fuego en ninguna de sus casas en el día de reposo.
Do not [even] light a fire in your homes on days of rest.”
4 Y dijo Moisés a toda la congregación de los hijos de Israel: Este es el mandato que el Señor ha dado:
Moses/I also said to all the Israeli people, “This is [also] what Yahweh has commanded:
5 Toma de entre ustedes una ofrenda al Señor; cualquiera que tenga la voluntad en su corazón, que dé su ofrenda al Señor; oro y plata y bronce;
Make offerings to Yahweh. Everyone who wants to should bring to Yahweh an offering. [These are the things that they may offer]: Gold, silver, bronze,
6 Y tela azul, púrpura y rojo, y el mejor lino fino y cabello de cabras,
fine white linen, blue or purple or red cloth, [cloth made from] goats’ hair,
7 Y pieles de carnero de color rojo, y cuero, y madera de acacia,
rams’ skins that are (tanned/dyed red), fine leather made from goatskins, wood from acacia [trees],
8 Y aceite para las luces, y especias para el aceite sagrado de la unción y para él incienso aromático para quemar.
oil for the lamps, spices to put in the olive oil for anointing and in the sweet-smelling incense,
9 Y piedras de ónice y las joyas para cortar para el efod y para él pectoral del sacerdote.
[valuable] onyx stones or [other] valuable stones to fasten onto the [priest’s] sacred apron and put on his sacred chest pouch.
10 Y cada hombre de corazón sabio entre ustedes venga y haga lo que el Señor le haya ordenado;
“All the skilled workers among you should come and make all the things that Yahweh has commanded:
11 La casa y su tienda y su cubierta, sus ganchos y sus tablas, sus varillas y sus columnas y sus basas;
The Sacred Tent and its covering, its fasteners and its frames, its crossbars, its posts, its bases,
12 El arca con sus varillas y él propiciatorio el velo colgando delante de ella;
the sacred chest with its poles and its lid, the curtain that will separate the Holy Place from the Very Holy Place,
13 La mesa y sus varas, todos sus vasos, y el pan de la propiciación;
the table with the poles [for carrying it] and all the things that will be used with the table, the sacred bread that will be offered to God,
14 Y el candelabro para las luces, con sus vasijas y sus lámparas y el aceite para la luz;
the lampstand for the lamps with all the things that will be used to take care of them, the oil for the lamps,
15 Y el altar para la quema de especias, con sus varas, y el aceite sagrado de la unción y él incienso aromático, y la cortina para la puerta, a la puerta de la tienda;
the altar for [burning] incense, and the poles [for carrying that altar], the oil for anointing and the sweet-smelling incense, the curtain for the entrance of the Sacred Tent,
16 El altar de las ofrendas quemadas, con su enrejado de bronce, sus varas y todos sus utensilios, la palangana para lavar y su base;
the altar for offering [sacrifices that will be completely] burned and its bronze grating, the poles [for carrying] that altar and all the things that will be used with it, the washbasin and its base,
17 Las cortinas para él atrio, sus columnas y sus bases, y el telón para la entrada;
the curtains [to surround] the courtyard and the posts and bases [for the posts from which to hang the curtains], the curtain for the entrance to the courtyard,
18 Los estacas para la tienda, y las estacas para el atrio y sus cuerdas;
the pegs and ropes for the Sacred Tent and for the courtyard,
19 Las túnicas para ministrar en el lugar santo, las túnicas sagradas para el sacerdote Aarón, y las túnicas para sus hijos cuando actúan como sacerdotes.
and the beautiful clothes that Aaron and his sons are to wear when they do their work in the Holy Place.”
20 Y todos los hijos de Israel se apartaron de Moisés.
Then all the Israeli people returned [to their tents].
21 Y a todos los que sintieron movidos de corazón, a todos los que se guiaron por el impulso de su espíritu, vinieron con su ofrenda para el Señor, para lo que fuera necesario para la Tienda de reunión y su obra y para las vestiduras sagradas.
Everyone who wanted to brought an offering to Yahweh. They brought some of the things that would be used to make the Sacred Tent and all the other items that would be used in the rituals, and the materials to make the sacred clothes [for the priests].
22 Vinieron, hombres y mujeres, todos los que estaban dispuestos a dar, y dieron alfileres, narigueras, anillos de dedo y adornos para el cuello, todo de oro; todos dieron una ofrenda de oro al Señor.
All the men and women who wanted to brought gold ornaments, earrings, rings, necklaces, and many other kinds of things made of gold, and they dedicated them to Yahweh.
23 Y todos los que tenían tela azul, púrpura y rojo, y el mejor lino y pelo de cabra, y pieles de oveja de color rojo y cuero, se los dieron.
And many [HYP] people who had blue, purple, or red cloth or fine white linen or cloth made from goats’ hair or rams’ skins that were (tanned/dyed red) or leather made from goatskins brought some of these things.
24 Todos los que tenían plata y bronce les ofrecieron al Señor; y todos los que tenían madera de acacia, como la que se necesitaba para el trabajo, se la dieron.
All those who had silver or bronze brought them as offerings to Yahweh. All those who had some acacia wood that could be used for any of the work brought it.
25 Y todas las mujeres que eran expertas con sus manos, hicieron telas, y dieron la obra de sus manos, tela azul, púrpura y rojo, y el mejor lino.
All the women who were skilled to make cloth brought fine linen thread and blue, purple, or red yarn/thread that they had made/spun.
26 Y aquellas mujeres que tenían el conocimiento, hicieron el cabello de las cabras en tela.
And all the women who wanted to made/spun thread from goats’ hair.
27 Y los príncipes dieron piedras de ónice, y las joyas cortadas para el efod y el pectoral del sacerdote;
All the leaders brought valuable onyx stones and other valuable stones to be fastened to Aaron’s sacred apron and his sacred chest pouch.
28 Y la sal y el aceite para la luz, y el aceite santo para la unción y él incienso aromático.
They also brought spices [to put in the sweet-smelling incense], and they brought olive oil for the lamps and for the oil for anointing and for putting in the sweet-smelling incense.
29 Los hijos de Israel, cada hombre y cada mujer, por el impulso de sus corazones, dieron sus ofrendas libremente al Señor por la obra que el Señor le había ordenado a Moisés que hiciera.
All the Israeli men and women who wanted to brought these things to offer them to Yahweh, for doing the work that he had commanded Moses/me to do.
30 Y Moisés dijo a los hijos de Israel: He aquí que el SEÑOR designó a Bezaleel, hijo de Uri, hijo de Hur, de la tribu de Judá;
Moses/I said to the Israeli people, “Listen carefully. Yahweh has chosen Bezalel, the son of Uri and grandson of Hur, from the tribe of Judah.
31 Y lo ha llenado del espíritu de Dios, en toda sabiduría, conocimiento y arte de todo tipo;
Yahweh has enabled his Spirit to completely control Bezalel and has given him ability and enabled him to know how to do very skilled work.
32 Como diseñador experto de cosas bellas, trabajando en oro, plata y bronce;
He can engrave skillful designs in gold, silver, and bronze.
33 Entrenado en el corte de piedras y el adorno de la madera y en todo tipo de trabajos manuales.
He can cut (jewels/valuable stones) and enclose them [in tiny gold frames]. He can carve things from wood and do other skilled work.
34 Y le dio a él, y a Aholiab, hijo de Ahisamac, de la tribu de Dan, el poder de entrenar a otros.
Yahweh has also given to him and to Oholiab, the son of Ahisamach, from the tribe of Dan, the ability to teach their skills to others.
35 A ellos les ha dado conocimiento de todas las artes del artesano, del diseñador y del obrero experto; del fabricante de bordado en tela azul, púrpura y rojo y el mejor lino y del fabricante de telas; son capacitados en todas las artes del diseñador y el obrero entrenado.
He has given to them the ability to do all kinds of work that is done by craftsmen—those who create artistic things, those who make fine white linen, those who embroider designs using blue or purple or red yarn/thread, and those who make other cloth. They are able to do many [HYP] kinds of skillful work.
