Éxodo 34

1 Y él Señor dijo a Moisés: Haz otras dos piedras como las dos primeras; y pondré sobre ellos las palabras que estaban en las primeras piedras, que fueron quebradas por ti.

And the Lord saide vnto Moses, Hewe thee two Tables of stone, like vnto the first, and I will write vpon the Tables the wordes that were in the first Tables, which thou brakest in pieces.

2 Y prepárate por la mañana, y sube al monte Sinaí, y ven delante de mí allí en la mañana, en la cumbre de la montaña.

And be ready in ye morning, that thou mayest come vp earely vnto the mount of Sinai, and waite there for me in the top of the mount.

3 Nadie vendrá contigo, ni permitirás que nadie sea visto en ninguna parte de la montaña; que no se acerquen rebaños o manadas para obtener su alimento a sus pies.

But let no man come vp with thee, neither let any man be seene throughout all the mount, neyther let the sheepe nor cattell feede before this mount.

4 Entonces Moisés recibió dos piedras cortadas como la primera; y temprano en la mañana subió al Monte Sinaí, como el Señor le había dicho, con las dos piedras en su mano.

Then Moses hewed two Tables of stone like vnto the first, and rose vp earely in the morning, and went vp vnto the mount of Sinai, as the Lord had commanded him, and tooke in his hande two Tables of stone.

5 Y él Señor descendió en la nube, y tomó su lugar al lado de Moisés, y Moisés adoró el nombre del Señor.

And the Lord descended in the cloude, and stoode with him there, and proclaimed the name of the Lord.

6 Y el Señor pasó ante sus ojos, diciendo: El Señor, el Señor, un Dios lleno de piedad y de gracia, lento para la ira y grande en misericordia y en verdad;

So the Lord passed before his face, and cried, The Lord, the Lord, strong, mercifull, and gracious, slowe to anger, and abundant in goodnesse and trueth,

7 Teniendo misericordia de miles, que perdona, la maldad y el pecado; él no permitirá que los malhechores sean liberados, sino que enviará castigos a los niños por los pecados de sus padres, y en los hijos de sus hijos a la tercera y cuarta generación.

Reseruing mercy for thousands, forgiuing iniquitie, and transgression and sinne, and not making the wicked innocent, visiting the iniquitie of the fathers vpon ye children, and vpon childrens children, vnto the third and fourth generation.

8 Entonces Moisés rápidamente se postró sobre su rostro en adoración.

Then Moses made haste and bowed him selfe to the earth, and worshipped,

9 Y él dijo: Sí ahora tengo gracia en tus ojos, vaya ahora el Señor entre nosotros, porque este es un pueblo terco, y danos el perdón por nuestras maldades y nuestro pecado, y tómanos por tu herencia.

And sayde, O Lord, I pray thee, If I haue founde grace in thy sight, that the Lord woulde nowe goe with vs (for it is a stiffe necked people) and pardon our iniquitie and our sinne, and take vs for thine inheritance.

10 Y el Señor dijo: Mira, esto, Yo hago pacto: ante los ojos de tu pueblo haré maravillas, como las que no se han hecho en toda la tierra ni en ninguna nación; y todo tu pueblo verá la obra de el Señor, porque lo que estoy a punto de hacer por ti es muy temible.

And he answered, Behold, I will make a couenant before all thy people, and will do marueiles, such as haue not bene done in all the worlde, neyther in all nations: and all the people among whom thou art, shall see the worke of the Lord: for it is a terrible thing that I will do with thee.

11 Cuida de hacer las órdenes que te doy hoy; Echaré de delante de ti a los amorreos, a los cananeos, a los hititas, a los ferezeos, a los heveos y a los jebuseos.

Keepe diligently that which I commande thee this day: Beholde, I will cast out before thee the Amorites, and the Canaanites, and the Hittites, and the Perizzites, and the Hiuites, and the Iebusites.

12 Pero cuídate, y no hagas ningún acuerdo con la gente de la tierra adonde vas, porque será una causa de pecado para ti.

Take heede to thy selfe, that thou make no compact with ye inhabitantes of the land whither thou goest, least they be the cause of ruine among you:

13 Pero sus altares serán derribados, sus columnas quebrantadas y sus imágenes destruidas.

But yee shall ouerthrowe their altars, and breake their images in pieces, and cut downe their groues,

14 Porque no seréis adoradores de ningún otro dios, porque el Señor es un Dios que no dará su honor a otro. Dios celoso es.

(For thou shalt bow downe to none other god, because the Lord, whose Name is Ielous, is a ielous God)

15 Así que ve que no estén de acuerdo con la gente de la tierra, y no ir en pos de sus dioses, o participar en sus ofrendas, o ser invitados en sus fiestas,

Lest thou make a compact with the inhabitantes of the lande, and when they goe a whoring after their gods, and doe sacrifice vnto their gods, some man call thee, and thou eate of his sacrifice:

16 O tomen a sus hijas para tus hijos; porque cuando sus hijas adoran a sus dioses, harán que sus hijos participen con ellos.

And least thou take of their daughters vnto thy sonnes, and their daughters goe a whoring after their gods, and make thy sonnes goe a whoring after their gods.

17 No se hagan dioses de metal.

Thou shalt make thee no gods of metall.

18 Guarda la fiesta de los panes sin levadura; durante siete días tu comida será pan sin levadura, como yo te di órdenes, a la hora habitual del mes de Abib; porque en ese mes saliste de Egipto.

The feast of vnleauened bread shalt thou keepe: seuen dayes shalt thou eate vnleauened bread, as I commanded thee, in ye time of the moneth of Abib: for in the moneth of Abib thou camest out of Egypt.

19 Cada primer hijo varón es mío; el primer nacimiento masculino de tu ganado, el primer macho de cada buey y oveja.

Euery male, that first openeth the wombe, shalbe mine: also all the first borne of thy flocke shalbe rekoned mine, both of beeues and sheepe.

20 Se puede dar un cordero en pago por la cría de un asno, pero si no pagas, se deberá romper el cuello del asno. Por todos los primeros hijos, debes hacer el pago. Nadie debe venir ante mi sin una ofrenda.

But ye first of ye asse thou shalt bie out with a lambe: and if thou redeeme him not, then thou shalt breake his necke: all the first borne of thy sonnes shalt thou redeeme, and none shall appeare before me emptie.

21 Seis días trabajen, pero el séptimo día descansen: al momento de arar y al cortar el grano, tendrán un día de descanso.

Six dayes shalt thou worke, and in the seuenth day thou shalt rest: both in earing time, and in the haruest thou shalt rest.

22 Y celebrarás la fiesta de las semanas cuando recibas los primeros frutos del grano, y la fiesta al final del año cuando tomes el producto de tus campos.

Thou shalt also obserue the feast of weekes in the time of ye first fruits of wheate haruest, and the feast of gathering fruites in the ende of the yere.

23 Tres veces en el año, que todos tus varones vengan delante del Señor, el Dios de Israel.

Thrise in a yere shall all your men children appeare before the Lord Iehouah God of Israel.

24 Porque enviaré naciones delante de ti, y extenderé los límites de tu tierra; y ningún hombre intentará tomar su tierra mientras ustedes suben a adorar al Señor, tres veces al año.

For I wil cast out the nations before thee, and enlarge thy coasts, so that no man shall desire thy land, whe thou shalt come vp to appeare before the Lord thy God thrise in the yeere.

25 No se ofrecerá levadura con la sangre de mi ofrenda, y la ofrenda de la fiesta de la Pascua no se podrá guardar hasta la mañana.

Thou shalt not offer the blood of my sacrifice with leauen, neither shall ought of the sacrifice of the feast of Passeouer be left vnto the morning.

26 Toma las primicias de tu tierra como ofrenda a la casa del Señor tu Dios. No dejes que él cabrito se cocine en la leche de su madre.

The first ripe fruites of thy land thou shalt bring vnto the house of the Lord thy God: yet shalt thou not seethe a kid in his mothers milke.

27 Y él Señor dijo a Moisés: Pon todas estas palabras por escrito; porque en ellos se basa el pacto que haré con ustedes.

And the Lord said vnto Moses, Write thou these words: for after the tenour of these words I haue made a couenant with thee and with Israel.

28 Y durante cuarenta días y cuarenta noches Moisés estuvo allí con el Señor, y en ese tiempo no tuvo comida ni bebida. Y puso por escrito en las piedras las palabras del acuerdo, las diez reglas de la ley.

So hee was there with the Lord fourtie dayes and fourtie nights, and did neither eat bread nor drinke water: and hee wrote in the Tables the wordes of the couenant, euen the tenne commandements.

29 Cuando Moisés descendió del monte Sinaí, con las dos piedras en su mano, no era consciente de que su rostro brillaba por su conversación con Dios.

So when Moses came downe from mount Sinai, the two Tables of the Testimonie were in Moses hande, as hee descended from the mount: (nowe Moses wist not that the skinne of his face shone bright, after that God had talked with him.

30 Pero cuando Aarón y todos los hijos de Israel vieron a Moisés y el resplandor de su rostro, no se acercaron a él por temor.

And Aaron and all the children of Israel looked vpon Moses, and beholde, the skin of his face shone bright, and they were afraid to come neere him)

31 Entonces Moisés envió a buscarlos; y Aarón, con los jefes del pueblo, vino a él; y Moisés habló con ellos.

But Moses called them: and Aaron and all the chiefe of the congregation returned vnto him: and Moses talked with them.

32 Y después, se acercaron todos los hijos de Israel, y él les dio todas las órdenes que el Señor le había dado en el monte Sinaí.

And afterwarde all the children of Israel came neere, and he charged them with al that the Lord had said vnto him in mount Sinai.

33 Y al final de su charla con ellos, Moisés se cubrió la cara con un velo.

So Moses made an end of comuning with them, and had put a couering vpon his face.

34 Pero cuando Moisés entraba delante del Señor para hablar con él, se quitaba el velo hasta que salía. Y cada vez que salía, les decía a los hijos de Israel lo que le habían ordenado que dijera;

But, when Moses came before the Lord to speake with him, he tooke off the couering vntill he came out: then he came out, and spake vnto the children of Israel that which he was commanded.

35 Y los hijos de Israel vieron que la cara de Moisés estaba brillando; y Moisés se cubrió la cara con el velo hasta que fue al Señor.

And the children of Israel sawe the face of Moses, howe the skin of Moses face shone bright: therefore Moses put the couering vpon his face, vntill he went to speake with God.
