Éxodo 31
1 Y él Señor dijo a Moisés:
Adonai spoke to Moses [Drawn out], saying,
2 Hice una selección de Bezaleel, hijo de Uri, por nombre, hijo de Hur, de la tribu de Judá:
“Behold, I have called by name Bezalel the son of Uri, the son of Hur, of the tribe of Judah [Praised]:
3 Y lo he llenado del Espíritu de Dios y lo hice sabio y lleno de conocimiento y entendimiento experto en todo tipo de trabajos manuales,
and I have filled him with the breath mind Spirit of God, in wisdom, and in understanding, and in knowledge, and in all kinds of workmanship,
4 Para hacer todo tipo de trabajo delicado en oro, plata y bronce;
to devise skillful works, to work in gold, and in silver, and in bronze,
5 En el corte de piedras para enmarcar y para hacer cualquier tipo de trabajo en madera.
and in cutting of stones for setting, and in carving of wood, to work in all kinds of workmanship.
6 E hice la elección de Aholiab con él, hijo de Ahisamac, de la tribu de Dan; y en los corazones de todos los que son sabios, he puesto el conocimiento para hacer lo que les he ordenado que hayan hecho;
Behold, I myself have appointed with him Oholiab, the son of Ahisamach, of the tribe of Dan [He judged]; and in the heart of all who are wise-hearted I have put wisdom, that they may make all that I have enjoined you:
7 La tienda de reunión, y el cofre del pacto, el propiciatorio que está sobre ella, y todos los utensilios para la tienda,
the Tent of Meeting, the ark of the testimony, the mercy seat that is on it, all the furniture of the Tent,
8 Y la mesa con sus vasos, y él candelabro de oro puro con todos sus vasos, y el altar para la quema de incienso,
the table and its utensils, the pure menorah ·lamp· with all its utensils, the altar of incense,
9 Y el altar de las ofrendas quemadas con todos sus vasos, y la palangana con su base,
the altar of burnt offering with all its utensils, the basin and its base,
10 Y las vestiduras para ministrar, las túnicas sagradas para Aarón y para sus hijos, para su uso cuando actúan como sacerdotes,
the finely worked garments— the holy garments for Aaron [Light-bringer] the priest— the garments of his sons to minister in the priest’s office,
11 Y el aceite sagrado de la unción y el incienso de especias aromáticas para el lugar santo; Harán lo que les haya dado órdenes de haber hecho.
the anointing oil, and the incense of sweet spices for the holy place: according to all that I have enjoined you they shall do.”
12 Y él Señor dijo a Moisés:
Adonai spoke to Moses [Drawn out], saying,
13 Diles a los hijos de Israel que deben guardar mis sábados; porque el día de reposo es una señal entre ustedes y yo a través de todas sus generaciones; para que veas que yo soy el Señor que te hace santo.
“Speak also to the children of Israel [God prevails], saying, ‘Most certainly you shall keep my Shab'totay ·Intermissions·: for it is a sign between me and you throughout all your generations; that you may know that I am Yahweh M’Kaddesh [Yahweh our Santifier / He sustains breathing who makes you holy].
14 Así que debes guardar el sábado como un día santo; y cualquiera que no lo honre, ciertamente morirá: cualquiera que haga algún trabajo en ese día será cortado de su pueblo.
You shall keep the Shabath ·Intermission· therefore; for it is holy to you. Everyone who profanes it shall surely be put to death; for whoever does any work therein, that soul shall be cut off from among his people.
15 Seis días se puede trabajar, pero el séptimo día es un sábado de descanso completo, santo para el Señor; cualquiera que haga algún trabajo en el día de reposo debe ser ejecutado.
Six days shall work be done, but on the seventh day is a Shabath ·Intermission· of solemn rest, holy to Adonai. Whoever does any work on the Shabath ·Intermission· day shall surely be put to death.
16 Y los hijos de Israel han de guardar el día de reposo santo, de generación en generación, por un acuerdo eterno.
Therefore the children of Israel [God prevails] shall keep the Shabath ·Intermission·, to observe the Shabath ·Intermission· throughout their generations, for a perpetual covenant ·binding contract between two or more parties·.
17 Es una señal entre mí y los hijos de Israel para siempre; porque en seis días el Señor hizo el cielo y la tierra, y en el séptimo día él descansó y tuvo placer en ello.
It is a sign between me and the children of Israel [God prevails] forever; for in six days Adonai made heaven and earth, and on the seventh day he rested, and was refreshed.’”
18 Y cuando terminó su charla con Moisés en el monte Sinaí, le dio las dos piedras de la ley, dos piedras sobre las cuales estaba escrito con el dedo de Dios.
He gave to Moses [Drawn out], when he finished speaking with him on Mount Sinai [Thorn], the two tablets of the testimony, stone tablets, written with the finger of God.
