Éxodo 11
1 Y ÉL SEÑOR dijo a Moisés: Enviaré otro castigo sobre Faraón y sobre Egipto; después de eso él te dejará ir; y cuando él te deje ir, no mantendrá a uno de ustedes de regreso, sino que los enviará por la fuerza.
And Jehovah said to Moses, Yet one plague will I bring upon Pharaoh, and upon Egypt; afterwards he will let you go hence: when he shall let [you] go altogether, he shall utterly drive you out hence.
2 Así que ve ahora y ordena a la gente que cada hombre y cada mujer debe obtener de sus vecinos adornos de plata y de oro.
Speak now in the ears of the people, that they ask every man of his neighbour, and every woman of her neighbour, utensils of silver and utensils of gold.
3 Y el Señor le dio gracia al pueblo a los ojos de los egipcios. Para el hombre, Moisés fue muy honrado en la tierra de Egipto, por los siervos de Faraón y el pueblo.
And Jehovah gave the people favour in the eyes of the Egyptians. Moreover the man Moses was very great in the land of Egypt — in the eyes of Pharaoh's bondmen, and in the eyes of the people.
4 Y dijo Moisés: Así dice el Señor: A la medianoche saldré por en medio de Egipto.
And Moses said, Thus saith Jehovah: About midnight I will go out into the midst of Egypt.
5 Y vendrá la muerte al primer hijo varón de toda madre en toda la tierra de Egipto, desde el hijo de Faraón en su asiento de poder, hasta el hijo de la criada que trilla el grano; y los primeros nacimientos de todo el ganado.
And all the firstborn in the land of Egypt shall die, from the firstborn of Pharaoh who sitteth on his throne, even unto the firstborn of the bondwoman that is behind the mill; and all the firstborn of cattle.
6 Y se lanzará un gran clamor por toda la tierra de Egipto, como nunca ha sido ni volverá a suceder.
And there shall be a great cry throughout the land of Egypt, such as there hath been none like it, nor shall be like it any more.
7 Pero contra los hijos de Israel, hombres o bestias, ni aun la lengua de un perro se moverá: para que veas cómo el Señor hace una división entre Israel y los egipcios.
But against any of the children of Israel shall not a dog move his tongue, against man or beast; that ye may know that Jehovah distinguisheth between the Egyptians and Israel.
8 Y vendrán a mí todos estos tus siervos, y se postrarán sobre sus rostros delante de mí, y dirán: Sal, y todo tu pueblo contigo, y después de esto yo saldré. Y se fue de Faraón ardiendo de ira.
And all these thy bondmen shall come down unto me, and bow down to me, saying, Go out, thou, and all the people that follow thee; and after that I will go out. And he went out from Pharaoh in a glowing anger.
9 Y el SEÑOR dijo a Moisés: Faraón no te escuchará, para que mis maravillas se multipliquen en la tierra de Egipto.
And Jehovah had said to Moses, Pharaoh shall not hearken to you; that my wonders may be multiplied in the land of Egypt.
10 Todas estas maravillas hicieron Moisés y Aarón delante de Faraón; pero él Señor endureció el corazón de Faraón, y no dejó ir a los hijos de Israel de su tierra.
And Moses and Aaron did all these wonders before Pharaoh; but Jehovah made Pharaoh's heart stubborn, and he did not let the children of Israel go out of his land.
