Eclesiastés 6

1 Hay un mal que he visto bajo el sol, y es común para los hombres;

2 Un hombre a quien Dios le da dinero, riqueza y honor para que tenga todos sus deseos, pero Dios no le da el poder de gozar de él, y un hombre extranjero lo toma. Esto es vanidad y una enfermedad maligna.

3 Si un hombre tiene cien hijos, y su vida es larga, los días de sus años son muy numerosos, pero su alma no se complace del bien, y careció de sepultura; Yo digo que un abortivo es mejor que él.

4 En el viento vino y se iría a la oscuridad, y con la oscuridad se ocultará su nombre.

5 Si, no vio el sol y no tuvo conocimiento; Es mejor con esto que con el otro.

6 Y aunque continúa viviendo mil veces más y no ve bien, ¿no van los dos al mismo lugar?

7 Toda la obra del hombre es para su boca, y todavía tiene un deseo de comer.

8 . ¿Qué ventaja tienen los sabios que los necios? ¿Y qué tiene el pobre que camina sabiamente entre los vivos?

9 Lo que ven los ojos es mejor que el deseo errante. Esto es vanidad y aflicción de espíritu.

10 Lo que es, ha sido nombrado antes, y se sabe que es hombre. Él no tiene poder contra uno más fuerte que él.

11 Hay muchas palabras para aumentar la vanidad, pero ¿en qué beneficia al hombre?

12 ¿Quién puede decir lo que es bueno para el hombre en la vida todos los días de su vida insensata por los que pasa como una sombra? ¿Quién dirá lo que será después de él bajo el sol?
