Deuteronomio 22

1 Si ves que el buey o la oveja de tu hermano deambulan, no te vayas sin ayudar, llévalos a tu hermano.

THOU shalt not see thy brother’s ox or his sheep go astray, and hide thyself from them: thou shalt in any case bring them again unto thy brother.

2 Si su dueño no está cerca, o si no estás seguro de quién es, llevala bestia a tu casa y guárdela hasta que su dueño la busque, y luego debes devolvérsela.

And if thy brother be not nigh unto thee, or if thou know him not, then thou shalt bring it unto thine own house, and it shall be with thee until thy brother seek after it, and thou shalt restore it to him again.

3 Haz lo mismo con su asno o su túnica o cualquier cosa que haya perdido tu hermano y con la que te hayas encontrado. No lo ignores.

In like manner shalt thou do with his ass; and so shalt thou do with his raiment; and with all lost thing of thy brother’s, which he hath lost, and thou hast found, shalt thou do likewise: thou mayest not hide thyself.

4 Si ves que el buey o el asno de tu hermano caen en el camino, no pases sin darle ayuda para levantarlo.

Thou shalt not see thy brother’s ass or his ox fall down by the way, and hide thyself from them: thou shalt surely help him to lift them up again.

5 No es correcto que una mujer se vista con ropa de hombre, o que un hombre se ponga una túnica de mujer; quien hace tales cosas es repugnante para el Señor tu Dios.

The woman shall not wear that which pertaineth unto a man, neither shall a man put on a woman’s garment: for all that do so are abomination unto the Lord thy God.

6 Si por casualidad ves un lugar que un ave se ha forjado en un árbol o en la tierra, con crías o huevos, y la ave madre sentada sobre los polluelos o sobre los huevos, no tomes la madre ave con los polluelos.

If a bird’s nest chance to be before thee in the way in any tree, or on the ground, whether they be young ones, or eggs, and the dam sitting upon the young, or upon the eggs, thou shalt not take the dam with the young:

7 Fíjate de dejar ir a la madre pájaro, pero a los polluelos puedes tomar; Así te irá bien y tendrás una larga vida.

But thou shalt in any wise let the dam go, and take the young to thee; that it may be well with thee, and that thou mayest prolong thy days.

8 Si estás construyendo una casa, haz una barandilla para el techo, de modo que no se culpe a la familia de muerte si alguien cae de la azotea.

When thou buildest a new house, then thou shalt make a battlement for thy roof, that thou bring not blood upon thine house, if any man fall from thence.

9 No haga que su jardín de viñas tenga dos tipos de semillas: o todo puede convertirse en una pérdida, la semilla que sembraron, así como el viñedo.

Thou shalt not sow thy vineyard with divers seeds: lest the fruit of thy seed which thou hast sown, and the fruit of thy vineyard, be defiled.

10 No hagas el arado con un buey y un asno juntos.

Thou shalt not plow with an ox and an ass together.

11 No lleve ropa hecha de dos tipos de hilo, lana y lino juntos.

Thou shalt not wear a garment of divers sorts, as of woollen and linen together.

12 En los cuatro bordes de tu túnica, con los que está cubierto tu cuerpo, coloca adornos de hilos retorcidos.

Thou shalt make thee fringes upon the four quarters of thy vesture, wherewith thou coverest thyself.

13 Si un hombre toma esposa y ha tenido relaciones sexuales con ella, y después la aborrece.

If any man take a wife, and go in unto her, and hate her,

14 Y dice cosas malas sobre ella y le da mala fama, diciendo: Tomé a esta mujer, y cuando tuve contacto con ella me quedó claro que no era virgen.

And give occasions of speech against her, and bring up an evil name upon her, and say, I took this woman, and when I came to her, I found her not a maid:

15 Luego, que el padre y la madre de la niña pongan delante de los hombres responsables del pueblo, en el lugar público, señales de que la niña era virgen:

Then shall the father of the damsel, and her mother, take and bring forth the tokens of the damsel’s virginity unto the elders of the city in the gate:

16 Y que el padre de la niña diga a los hombres responsables, le di mi hija a este hombre por su esposa, pero él no la ama;

And the damsel’s father shall say unto the elders, I gave my daughter unto this man to wife, and he hateth her;

17 Ahora él la ha avergonzado, diciendo que no es virgen; Pero aquí está la señal de que ella es virgen. Luego deben poner su ropa delante de los hombres responsables del pueblo.

And, lo, he hath given occasions of speech against her, saying, I found not thy daughter a maid; and yet these are the tokens of my daughter’s virginity. And they shall spread the cloth before the elders of the city.

18 Entonces los hombres responsables del pueblo deben darle al hombre su castigo;

And the elders of that city shall take that man and chastise him;

19 Lo multarán cien siclos de plata, que le serán entregados al padre de la niña, porque le ha dado un mal nombre a una virgen de Israel: ella seguirá siendo su esposa. Mientras viva él, no podrá divorciarse de ella.

And they shall amerce him in an hundred shekels of silver, and give them unto the father of the damsel, because he hath brought up an evil name upon a virgin of Israel: and she shall be his wife; he may not put her away all his days.

20 Pero si lo que él ha dicho es cierto, y se ve que ella no es virgen,

But if this thing be true, and the tokens of virginity be not found for the damsel:

21 Luego deben hacer que la niña venga a la puerta de la casa de su padre y los hombres del pueblo la apedrearán hasta morir, porque ha hecho el mal y ha avergonzado a Israel, prostituyéndose en la casa de su padre, así que debes quitar el mal de en medio de ti.

Then they shall bring out the damsel to the door of her father’s house, and the men of her city shall stone her with stones that she die: because she hath wrought folly in Israel, to play the whore in her father’s house: so shalt thou put evil away from among you.

22 Si un hombre es tomado en el acto de ir a una mujer casada, los dos, el hombre y la mujer, deben ser condenados a muerte, por lo tanto, debe deshacerse del mal que haya en medio de Israel.

If a man be found lying with a woman married to an husband, then they shall both of them die, both the man that lay with the woman, and the woman: so shalt thou put away evil from Israel.

23 Si una joven virgen ha dado su palabra para casarse con un hombre, y otro hombre que se encuentra con ella en el pueblo, se acuesta con ella;

If a damsel that is a virgin be betrothed unto an husband, and a man find her in the city, and lie with her;

24 Luego debes llevarlos a la puerta de la ciudad y llevarlos ante el tribunal; la joven virgen, porque ella no gritó pidiendo ayuda, aunque estaba en la ciudad, y el hombre, porque ha avergonzado a la esposa de su vecino: así que debes quitar el mal de en medio de ti.

Then ye shall bring them both out unto the gate of that city, and ye shall stone them with stones that they die; the damsel, because she cried not, being in the city; and the man, because he hath humbled his neighbour’s wife: so thou shalt put away evil from among you.

25 Pero si el hombre, encontrándose con una virgen así en el campo, la toma por la fuerza, entonces solo el hombre debe ser condenado a muerte;

But if a man find a betrothed damsel in the field, and the man force her, and lie with her: then the man only that lay with her shall die:

26 No se debe hacer nada a la virgen, porque no hay causa de muerte en ella: es lo mismo que si un hombre atacara a su prójimo y lo matara:

But unto the damsel thou shalt do nothing; there is in the damsel no sin worthy of death: for as when a man riseth against his neighbour, and slayeth him, even so is this matter:

27 Porque él la encontró en el campo abierto, y no había nadie para ayudar a la virgen en respuesta a su clamor.

For he found her in the field, and the betrothed damsel cried, and there was none to save her.

28 Si un hombre ve a una joven virgen que no ha dado su palabra de casarse con nadie, y la toma por la fuerza y ​​se acuesta con ella, y son descubiertos;

If a man find a damsel that is a virgin, which is not betrothed, and lay hold on her, and lie with her, and they be found;

29 Entonces el hombre tendrá que dar al padre de la virgen cincuenta siclos de plata y convertirla en su esposa, porque la ha violado; Él nunca podrá divorciarse de ella en toda su vida.

Then the man that lay with her shall give unto the damsel’s father fifty shekels of silver, and she shall be his wife; because he hath humbled her, he may not put her away all his days.

30 Un hombre no puede tomar a la esposa de su padre o tener relaciones sexuales con una mujer que es de su padre.

A man shall not take his father’s wife, nor discover his father’s skirt.
