Deuteronomio 12
1 Estas son las leyes y las decisiones que deben tomar con cuidado en la tierra que el Señor, el Dios de sus padres, les ha dado para que sea su herencia todos los días de su vida en la tierra.
These ben the heestis and domes, whiche ye owen to do, in the lond which the Lord God of thi fadrys schal yyue to thee, that thou welde it, in alle daies in whiche thou schalt go on erthe.
2 Destruirán por completo en todos aquellos lugares donde las naciones, a quienes ustedes van expulsar, adoran a sus dioses, en las montañas altas y las colinas y debajo de cada árbol frondoso:
Distrie ye alle the places wherynne hethen men whiche ye schulen welde, worschipiden her goddis, on hiy mounteyns, and litle hillis, and vndur ech tre ful of bowis.
3 Sus altares y sus pilares serán derribados, y sus árboles sagrados serán quemados con fuego, y las imágenes de sus dioses serán derribadas; Deben borrar sus nombres de ese lugar.
Distrie ye `the auteris of hem, and `breke ye the ymagis; brenne ye the wodis with fier, and al to breke ye the idolis; destrie ye `the names of hem fro the places.
4 No deben adorar al Señor su Dios de esta manera.
Ye schulen not do so to youre Lord God;
5 Pero vuelvan sus corazones al lugar que será escogido por el Señor su Dios, entre sus tribus, para poner su nombre allí y ustedes podrán ir adorarlo;
but ye schulen come to the place which youre Lord God chees of alle youre lynagis, that he putte his name there, and dwelle therynne;
6 Y allí tienes que llevar sus ofrendas quemadas y otras ofrendas, y la décima parte de sus bienes, y las ofrendas para ser levantadas al Señor, y las ofrendas de sus juramentos, y las que ofreces libremente por el impulso de sus corazones y los primeros nacimientos entre sus vacas y sus ovejas;
and ye schulen come, and schulen offre in that place youre brent sacrifices, and slayn sacrifices, the dymes, and firste fruytis of youre hondis, and avowis and yiftis, the firste gendrid thingis of oxun, and of scheep.
7 Allí, ustedes y todas sus familias deben hacer una fiesta delante del Señor su Dios, con gozo en todo lo que pones, porque el Señor les ha dado su bendición.
And ye and youre housis schulen ete there in the siyt of youre Lord God; and ye schulen be glad in alle thingis to whiche ye putten hond, in whiche youre Lord God blesside you.
8 No deben hacer las cosas de la manera en que ahora las hacemos aquí, cada hombre como le parezca correcto:
Ye schulen not do there tho thingis whiche we don here to dai, ech man that semeth riytful to `hym silf.
9 Porque no han venido al descanso ni a la herencia que el Señor su Dios les está dando.
For `til in to present tyme ye camen not to reste and possessioun, which the Lord God schal yyue to you.
10 Pero cuando hayan cruzado el Jordán y estén viviendo en la tierra que el Señor su Dios les está dando como su herencia, y cuando los haya librado de todos los que luchan contra ustedes, y ustedes estén viviendo allí a salvo;
Ye schulen passe Jordan, and ye schulen dwelle in the lond which youre Lord God schal yyue to you, that ye reste fro alle enemyes `bi cumpas, and dwelle without ony drede.
11 Entonces habrá un lugar escogido por el Señor su Dios como lugar de descanso para su nombre, y allí ofrecerán todas las cosas que les he ordenado: sus ofrendas quemadas y sacrificios, y la décima parte de sus bienes, y las ofrendas para ser levantadas, y las ofrendas de sus juramentos que hacen al Señor;
In the place which youre Lord God chees that his name be therynne. Thidur ye schulen bere alle thingis, whiche Y comaunde, brent sacrifices, and sacrifices, and the dymes, and firste fruytis of youre hondis, and what euere is the beste in yiftis, whiche ye auowiden to the Lord.
12 Y te alegrarás delante del Señor su Dios, ustedes y sus hijos y sus hijas, y sus siervos y sus siervas, y el levita que está entre ustedes en su casa, porque no tiene parte ni herencia entre ustedes.
Ther ye schulen ete bifor youre Lord God, ye, and youre sones and douytris, youre seruauntis, and seruauntessis, and the dekenes, that dwellen in youre citees; for thei han not other part and possessioun among you.
13 Tengan cuidado de no hacer sus ofrendas quemadas en cualquier lugar que vean:
Be thou war lest thou offre thi brent sacrifices in ech place which thou seest,
14 Pero en el lugar señalado por el Señor en una de tus tribus, que se ofrezcan sus ofrendas quemadas, y haz lo que te he ordenado que hagas.
but in that place which the Lord chees in oon of thi lynagis thou schalt offre sacrifices, and schalt do what euer thingis Y comaunde to thee.
15 Solo pueden matar animales, como la gacela y él ciervo, para tu alimento en cualquiera de tus pueblos, según el deseo de tu alma, de acuerdo con la bendición del Señor tu Dios que él les ha dado. Él impuro y él limpio lo comerá.
Forsothe if thou wolt ete, and the etyng of fleischis delitith thee, sle thou, and ete, bi the blessyng of thi Lord God, which he yaf to thee in thi citees, whether it is vnclene, `that is, spottid ether wemmed and feble, ether clene, `that is, hool in membris and with out wem, which is leueful to be offrid, thou schalt ete as a capret and hert; oneli without etyng of blood,
16 Pero no pueden tomar la sangre como alimento, se debe drenar en la tierra como el agua.
which thou schalt schede out as watir on the erthe.
17 En tus ciudades no debes tomar como alimento la décima parte de tu grano, o de tu vino o tu aceite, o los primeros nacimientos de tu ganado o de tus rebaños, o cualquier cosa ofrecida bajo un juramento, o libremente ofrecido al Señor, o dado como ofrenda mecida;
Thou schalt not mowe ete in thi citees the tithis of thi wheete, wyn, and oile, the firste gendrid thingis of droues, and of scheep, and alle thingis whiche thou hast avowid and wolt offre bi fre wille, and the firste fruytis of thin hondis;
18 Pero comerán su alimento delante del Señor tu Dios en el lugar de su elección, donde podrán alegrarse delante de él, con su hijo y su hija, y su sirviente y su sierva, y el levita quien vive entre ustedes: y tendrán gozo delante del Señor su Dios por todo lo que pone en su mano.
but thou schalt ete tho bifor thi Lord God, in the place which thi Lord God chees, thou, and thi sone, and douyter, seruaunt, and seruauntesse, and the dekene that dwellith in thi citees; and thou schalt be glad, and schalt be fillid bifor thi Lord God in alle thingis to whiche thou holdist forth thin hond.
19 Asegúrense de no dejar de cuidar al levita mientras vivas en tu tierra.
Be thou war lest thou forsake the dekene in al tyme, `in which thou lyuest in erthe.
20 Cuando el Señor tu Dios amplíe el límite de tu tierra, como él ha dicho, y ustedes digan: Tomaré carne por mi comida, porque la deseo; entonces pueden comer cualquier carne que deseen.
Whanne thi Lord God hath alargid thi termes, as he spak to thee, and thou wolt ete fleischis, whiche thi soule desirith,
21 Si el lugar señalado por el Señor tu Dios como lugar de descanso para su nombre está lejos de ustedes, entonces podrás matar de tu ganado y de tus rebaños que el Señor les ha dado, como he dicho, y Coman en los pueblos donde están viviendo todo lo que desee su corazón.
forsothe if the place is fer, which thi Lord God chees, that his name be there, thou schalt sle of thin oxun, and scheep, whiche thou hast, as `the Lord comaundide to thee; and thou schalt ete in thi citees as it plesith thee.
22 Será tu comida, como la gacela y el ciervo; él impuro y limpio podrán comer de ello.
As a capret and hert is etun, so thou schalt ete tho; bothe a cleene man and vncleene schulen ete therof in comyn.
23 Pero mira que no tomes la sangre para comer; porque la sangre es la vida; y no podrás hacer uso de la vida como alimento con la carne.
Oneli eschewe thou this, that thou ete not blood; for the blood `of tho beestis is for the lijf, and therfor thou owist not ete the lijf with fleischis,
24 No la comerás como alimento, sino que lo derramarás en la tierra como el agua.
but thou schalt schede as watir `the blood on the erthe,
25 No la tomes por comida; para que les vaya bien a ti y a tus hijos después de ustedes, mientras hacen lo correcto ante los ojos del Señor.
that it be wel to thee, and to thi sones after thee, whanne thou hast do that, that plesith in the siyt of the Lord.
26 Pero las cosas santas que tienes, y las ofrendas de tus juramentos, deben llevarlas al lugar que será escogido por el Señor:
Sotheli thou schalt take that that thou `auowidist, and halewidist to the Lord, and thou schalt come to the place which the Lord chees;
27 Ofrecerán la carne y la sangre de tus holocaustos sobre el altar del Señor tu Dios; y la sangre de sus ofrendas será derramada sobre el altar del Señor tu Dios, y podrás comer la carne.
and thou schalt offre thin offryngis, fleischis, and blood, on the auter of thi Lord God; thou schalt schede in the auter the blood of sacrifices; forsothe thou schalt ete the fleischis.
28 Toma nota de todas estas órdenes que te estoy dando y presten atención a ellas, para que te vaya bien a ti y a tus hijos después de ustedes, mientras hacen lo que es bueno y correcto a los ojos del Señor su Dios.
Kepe thou and here alle thingis whiche Y comaunde to thee, that it be wel to thee, and to thi sones after thee, with outen ende, whanne thou hast do that, that is good and plesaunt in the siyt of thi Lord God.
29 Cuando el pueblo de la tierra a la que se dirigen haya sido destruida por el Señor tu Dios, y hayan tomado su tierra y estén viviendo en ella;
Whanne thi Lord God hath distryed bifor thi face folkis, to whiche thou schalt entre to welde, and thou hast weldid tho folkis, and hast dwellid in `the lond of hem,
30 Después de su destrucción, cuídate de no seguir sus caminos y de no pensar en sus dioses, diciendo: Cómo adoraron estas naciones a sus dioses Haré lo que ellos hicieron.
be thou war lest thou sue hem, aftir that thei ben distried, whanne thou entrist, and thou seke `the cerymonyes of hem, and seie, As these folkis worschipyden her goddis, so and Y schal worschipe.
31 No hagan esto al Señor tu Dios: porque todo lo que es repugnante para el Señor y odiado por él, lo han hecho en honor de sus dioses: incluso quemando a sus hijos e hijas en el fuego a sus dioses.
Thou schalt not do in lijk manere to thi Lord God; for thei diden to her goddis alle abhomynaciouns whiche the Lord wlatith, and offriden her sones and douytris, and brenten with fier.
32 Deben guardar con cuidado todas las palabras que les doy, sin agregar nada y sin quitarle nada.
Do thou to the Lord this thing oneli which Y comaunde to thee, nethir adde thou ony thing, nether abate.
