Daniel 10
1 En el tercer año de Ciro, rey de Persia, se reveló un secreto a Daniel, que se llamaba Beltsasar; y la cosa era cierta, incluso un trabajo duro; y él lo sabía, y la visión era clara para él.
In the third year of Cyrus king of Persia, a thing is revealed to Daniel, whose name is called Belteshazzar, and the thing [is] true, and the warfare [is] great: and he has understood the thing, and has understanding about the appearance.
2 En aquellos días yo, Daniel, estaba de luto por tres semanas completas.
“In those days, I, Daniel, have been mourning three weeks of days;
3 No disfruté ninguna comida, no entraba carne ni vino en mi boca, y no puse aceite en mi cuerpo hasta que terminaron tres semanas completas.
I have not eaten desirable bread, and no flesh and wine came into my mouth, and I have not anointed myself at all, until the completion of three weeks of days.
4 Y el día veinticuatro del primer mes estaba al lado del gran río Tigris;
And in the twenty-fourth day of the first month, I have been by the side of the great river, that [is] Hiddekel:
5 Y alzando mis ojos vi la forma de un hombre vestido con una túnica de lino, y a su alrededor había un cinto de oro, del mejor oro de Ufaz.
and I lift up my eyes, and look, and behold, a certain one clothed in linen, and his loins girt with pure gold of Uphaz,
6 Y su cuerpo era como el berilo, y su rostro tenía el aspecto de una llama destellos de relámpagos, y sus ojos eran como luces encendidas, y sus brazos y pies como el color de bronce, y el sonido de su voz; era como el estruendo de una multitud.
and his body as a beryl, and his face as the appearance of lightning, and his eyes as lamps of fire, and his arms and his feet as the aspect of bright bronze, and the voice of his words as the voice of a multitude.
7 Y yo, Daniel, fui el único que vio la visión, porque los hombres que estaban conmigo no la vieron; pero se produjo un gran temblor sobre ellos y salieron en vuelo para ponerse a cubierto.
And I, Daniel, have seen the vision by myself, and the men who have been with me have not seen the vision, but a great trembling has fallen on them, and they flee to be hidden;
8 Así que estaba solo, y vi esta gran visión, y toda mi fuerza se fue de mí; y el color se fue de mi cara.
and I have been left by myself, and I see this great vision, and there has been no power left in me, and my splendor has been turned in me to corruption, indeed, I have not retained power.
9 Pero el sonido de sus palabras llegó a mis oídos, y al escuchar su voz me dormí profundamente con la cara en la tierra.
And I hear the voice of his words, and when I hear the voice of his words, then I have been in a trance on my face, and my face [is] to the earth;
10 Entonces una mano me dio un toque, despertándome y poniéndome de rodillas y manos.
and behold, a hand has come against me, and shakes me on my knees and the palms of my hands.
11 Y él me dijo: ¡Oh, Daniel! Tú, hombre muy amado, entiende estas palabras que te digo y ponte de pie: porque a ti ahora soy enviado; y cuando me dijo esto, me puse de pie, temblando de miedo.
And he says to me: Daniel, man greatly desired, attend to the words that I am speaking to you, and stand on your station, for now I have been sent to you. And when he speaks with me this word, I have stood trembling.
12 Entonces él me dijo: No temas, Daniel; porque desde el primer día cuando diste tu corazón para obtener sabiduría y humillarte en espíritu ante tu Dios, tus palabras han llegado a sus oídos; y yo he venido en respuesta a tus palabras.
And he says to me: Do not fear, Daniel, for from the first day that you gave your heart to understand, and to humble yourself before your God, your words have been heard, and I have come because of your words.
13 Pero el príncipe del reino de Persia se puso contra mí por veintiún días; pero Miguel, uno de los principales príncipes, vino en mi ayuda; y cuando llegué él todavía estaba allí con los reyes de Persia.
And the head of the kingdom of Persia is standing in opposition in front of me [for] twenty-one days, and behold, Michael, first of the chief heads, has come to help me, and I have remained there near the kings of Persia;
14 Ahora he venido para darte conocimiento del destino de tu pueblo en los días posteriores; porque todavía hay una visión para muchos días.
and I have come to cause you to understand that which happens to your people in the latter end of the days, for yet the vision [is] after days.
15 Y después de haberme dicho estas palabras, mantuve mi rostro vuelto a la tierra y no pude decir nada.
And when he speaks with me about these things, I have set my face toward the earth, and have been silent;
16 Entonces uno cuya forma era como los hijos de los hombres puso su dedo en mis labios; y abriendo la boca, le dije al que estaba delante de mí, oh mi señor, debido a la visión, mis dolores se han apoderado de mí y no tengo más fuerza.
and behold, as the manner of the sons of men, he is striking against my lips, and I open my mouth, and I speak, and say to him who is standing in opposition in front of me: My lord, by the vision my pangs have been turned against me, and I have retained no power.
17 Porque, ¿cómo puede este siervo de mi señor hablar con mi señor? porque, en cuanto a mí, de inmediato se me fue la fuerza y no había aliento en mi cuerpo.
And how is the servant of this my lord able to speak with this my lord? As for me, from now on there remains in me no power, indeed, breath has not been left in me.
18 De nuevo, uno que tenía la forma de un hombre puso su mano sobre mí y me dio fuerzas.
And he adds, and strikes against me, as the appearance of a man, and strengthens me,
19 Y él me dijo: Oh hombre, amado, no temas, la paz sea contigo, sé fuerte y anímate. Y ante sus palabras me hice fuerte, y dije: Hable mi Señor, porque me has dado fuerza.
and he says: Do not fear, O man greatly desired, peace to you, be strong, indeed, be strong; and when he speaks with me, I have strengthened myself, and I say, Let my lord speak, for you have strengthened me.
20 Entonces él dijo: Está claro por qué he venido a ti. Y ahora regreso a luchar con él príncipe de Persia; cuando yo termine, he aquí, él príncipe de Grecia vendrá.
And he says, Have you known why I have come to you? And now I return to fight with the head of Persia; indeed, I am going forth, and behold, the head of Javan has come;
21 Pero te mostraré lo que está escrito en la escritura de la verdad. Y no hay nadie de mi lado contra ellos, sino Miguel, tu principe.
but I declare to you that which is noted down in the Writing of Truth, and there is not one strengthening himself with me, concerning these, except Michael your head.”
